I'd say the hash browns are a lot more common with a full english over here than bubble and squeak. The latter is mainly had as a separate breakfast by using leftovers from a sunday roast and cracking an egg on top.

Bubble and Squeak is different in the UK.. in wales it’s your Sunday roast all mashed down into an lumps and clumps (so the chicken, potatoes, veg etc all crushed up) and then added an egg and mix and fry like an omelet. It’s lovely, specially with the crispy and soft parts. I put some ketchup on the side and it just adds to the flavour. You can do some salt and pepper too if wanted.
Also you cooked the tomatoes weirdly. The second way you done the tomatoe is correct and how it’s done here.

Blood based food seems to be involved with every European country in some national capacity… I mean, what else were they to do with all the blood back in the day, let it go to waste?
So I’d think hash and or black pudding would be a staple, since it’s dense and “healthy” (to a point).

    • @stoneagepig3768

Blood sausage has been made for thousands of years since the first civilisations (and probably before) appeared in the middle East when the people who lived on the islands we now call Britain and Ireland were still howling at the moon. Black pudding is just the modern-ish British version of it, no idea why you think it's specifically Irish. Hash browns are American and have no place on a full English as far as I'm concerned and have only been added by some folks for a couple of decades of so.
