- NEVER! flight O3 with Airunit in full power I have tried it and this happen. Let me know if you have tried it and how it went for you.
The O3 "VTX" is trying everything to keep a good signal and that come with a bad price for Vista or airunit.
However if you fly with 20Mbps at the lowest power possible you can fly together. we did another test where we both used the goggles 2 and 20mbps and it was all fine.

We do exactly what you suggested above as soon as there is a vista or an O3 around. All analog and HDZ stay at R7, R8 and DJI on channel 1. That works :)

Make sure you pick a channel, not use automatic and stay in 25mb mode when flying near others and you should have no issues. I’ve found the auto channel mode to absolutely suck. I get about half the range and a bunch of weird drop outs when on auto
Yes and NO. We both had Manuel and he was Chanel 1 and i was Chanel 3. we both where flying with the Goggles 2. Then the best thing we did was set both to 20Mbps and one choose Chanel 1 and the second one chose Chanel 8.
that is, when manually selecting a channel, is the power greater? why?
Yes but if you are using 40Mbps it will still fck you up!
@@babang_des will 20 mbps give better range ? i use 40 mbps in channel 7... 15-20 mbps at 4km range .
20mbps only when flying with O3 and air unit together! Otherwise just blast it at 40

Great info bro! So flying with O3 and O3 should be fine. But flying O3 and O2 set to manual transmission mode one on channel 1 and the other on a higher channel. Also both in 20mbps mode. Got yeah! Cheers!
Yes! I think the 03 can jump to 2wat maybe. im not sure but it was blasting me off!!!!!
If you are flying the chimera pro I’ll wager you are using circular polarization on the transmitter antenna and the stock liner polarized antenna on the goggles … this will fit your range dramatically I highly recommend using the fly fish linear polarization antenna for long range or at least the stock o3 antenna trust me you will get a huge range boost on full power I switched to the G2 flip and their long range antenna on my rekon 7 and it will go fore miles at altitude like this

@@babang_des Some reviews claim to get great range others claim to it’s about the same my experience with them is you must have matching polarity if you use just the fipG2 you won’t notice much but if you add their long range transmitter antenna on the quad you will see I big boost. I certainly did. I had some areas around my farm where it dropped to about 9mbps if I was low to the ground after I made these changes it only drops to about 22 mbps I’m actually using the flips on my integra goggles so I had to de solder the antenna elements on the integra and replace them with the flip G2 which voids my warranty but it was worth the work. But they plug right into the goggles 2

It can happen with two vista also, we never fly longrange with two vista or og air unit, it randomly can kill the other ones feed.

yes its really a issue it changed during flight so much … not predictable but i had blackouts not as you i was not able to have 1-2mbit no way … but gps worked rth a part and 4sec after picture was back … but yeah better both vista or both o3 ….

Then the best thing to do is to set both to 20Mbps and one choose Chanel 1 and the second one chose Chanel 8. Does that make sense? after that we have done some 3 to 4km with them both just he was on Chanel 1 at 20Mps and i was in Chanel 8 at 20Mps.
Im considering building an fpv drone, how do i convince my parents to let me build one? They have no clue how expensive this could be, (I planned for a 300 dollar drone with a radiomaster Boxer and Cobra SD goggles)

If you flying with friends that have the air unit and you have the o3 then put the O3 in manually choose 20Mbps on both and one choose channel 1 and the other pick channel 5 or 7
