Dude, this is BY FAR the best instructional video I have ever seen. No drawn out explanation and/or opinions... Just straight forward instructions. That's all we want and need. Good job bro, for real!
Thanks man
This video was so well crafted that it actually looks like it only takes 10 minutes to do 8 injectors, LOL, GREAT VIDEO BRO!!!!!
YES HE MAKES IT LOOK SO EASY RIGHT.
@@NoWr2Run Definitely!
6 only 6
@@13yearsaprepperr.jtilbury.51 8 in a 5.2 v8
I accidentally stumbled on this video and this is probably the absolutely most efficient one I've ever seen. No waste of time whatsoever. Great detail on socket size I wish every UA-camr was like this guy
I don't even have a Cherokee, but I watched the whole video.
Hahaha me too
The best car repair video that I have ever seen. No mindless babbling, no hideous music, well lit, crystal clear video, perfect sound quality, not one word wasted..❤
You know it’s a good vid when you don’t even work on your vehicles and you still watch. 😁
Best "how to" video ever! Straight forward, no mindless rambling and is complete. Your a pro!
Wish all mechanic videos were this good. Very detailed and shows everything exactly.
Definitely one of the top 5.2l magnum engine channels out there! Always very detailed with good tips and tricks. You sure seem to know what you are doing
Dude you are god sent... The last 4 videos have been uploaded right when I needed some help with those exact projects! Leaking injectors last week ordered the parts and you already have a video out before they get here! Haha
This is something you wont regret doing. Not only does my Jeep immediately fire up when I start it, The pedal is more responsive and the idle is smoother. The overhead display for mileage (DTE) used to show 318 on a full tank but now shows 380 on the full tank. I should have done this a long time ago
@@barricadegarage5361 I got the same Bosch injectors and I'm excited for that little fuel mileage boost and quick starts! Thanks
I just came across your video and I have been a tech for 35yrs and a shop foreman for the last ten of my technical career I'm now service director. I don't know what you do for a living or your career but may I suggest the automotive field and keeping people up on up-and-coming repairs and your knowledge and your examples are clear and pretty damn good. I'm on the East Coast actually in South Carolina and if you ever think about making a move reach out and give me a holler be more than glad to talk to you by the way excellent video clear and to the point. Thanks again Trey
Just did this in my 97 ZJ after the fuel line started leaking. My injectors where stuck on tight! I had to use a little elbow grease to get them out. I already tell it runs more smoothly and it feels like I have more power ( it use to starve at 4k rpm and now can climb to red line). I highly recommend this swap mainly because your injectors are probably old and this upgrade can be cheaper than factory replacement. I got mine on eBay for $7O with pigtail adapters.
Man great video. Awesome camera work. Great, descriptive break down of the work. One of the best car repair videos I’ve seen, period
Thank you
I know this is an older video now but I've looked at several videos today and this one was absolutely on point and simple to follow great video editing great instruction good job brother
Great presentation, explanation, and camera work! I wish more DIY video's were done this well. Bravo!!!
Just did this on a 2001 Ram. Great job on this video with no BS dialogue. Took about an hour start to finish.
Installed the very same injectors in my 2000 Durango 5.2L. The new injectors installed very easily and the truck runs great!
Thank you for the instructional video…it was spot on!!
So have the injectors held up over the past year?
@@constitutionalbacker1stame787 They sure have.
@@johnscreekmark the new injectors really increase the mileage ?
@@angelomiglioranza They have - by a couple of MPG’s..and significantly improved performance.
Bro, i found you because of your newer videos but your mechanic videos are 🔥🔥🔥🔥
All I can say is Im glad you decided to do the comedy videos otherwise I might have never found you!
Im so happy you are seeing the success you deserve!!!
Straight 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 all around!!!
This video gives me goosebumps - super well done! - THANKS!!!
So this is the 3rd video of yours i have watched. Great job. Your instructions and camera angles are so right on. Keep up the great work!
I appreciate you, man. I just did this project following your lead, as I do with quite a few of your videos. Thank You!
Glad you did this, thought it would be harder
Man you're videos have helped me a lot I got a code 27 so I went threw check out all wires they all had ground a power threw them. So I decided change fuel injectors after everything else checked out never did it before your video is only one that showed hole way doing thanks.
Very thorough and you speed up where it makes sense. Thank you!
Legit video man! I will be doing this on my 5.9l real soon !
Great video, thorough and to the point ! Have been looking at this 5.9 v8 short cab dually, this good to know. Thank you sir for sharing your skill set!!
Thanks for the video. Very clear instructions that makes the process easy to follow really appreciate it man.
Nice I changed my injectors 3 months ago on 93 .5.2 and had to go back and re do them with better units . but your vidio was great on the process...thanks
Great video. Your skills as a mechanic AND a camera man are obvious. I don't even have this model I just enjoyed watching for the education.
Awesome! I may get these when I get a new intake manifold..
Thanks, you gave really good instructions. Hope to replace the original injectors on my 95 Dodge Dakota soon.
amazing video ! very good explanations of what you're doing while you're doing it and the socket sizes are a big help
Thank you
Just finished watching video . The best , Informative , Very Well "watcher friendly" , with tool info ! About to put it to test on my jeep ! Thank you
Excellent video, production and narration. Thank you.
This is really good instruction. Excellent work and content. Thanks!
Great video. This is the best one I’ve seen for injectors. Appreciate the help!
As always great video! You are very good at going thru the steps and explaining everything thank you!!
Straight forward to the point. Thank you for the info my dude.
Good job but one big note. You should have cleaned the entire intake area with compressed air before you pulled the fuel rail. There was a lot of dirt and debris that was moving around while you pulled the rail. You want to clean that off first. You don't want to let it fall in or wipe it into the intake/combustion chamber after you pull the injectors. Cheers!
That is a sweet ride
Fantastic vid my friend. Seen many others, yours was perfect.
This guy is something else, wow what a video
Thanks
Thanks for this video man. Real good straight to the point and good tips.
About as good as it gets with respect to a video on this subject matter. Congratulations! Impressive.
Great video man, wish everyone made them with such detail as yourself. The only downside is you make it look so much easier 🤣🤣
You Sir, are an excellent instructor and videographer, as well. If you are not an auto tech instructor at a school, you should be. Thanks. Keep up the good work.
Glad I found this channel.....this is going to be my go to for manifold/TBI takedown. Thanks!
As always a no nonsense vid. Awesome work. I base my repairs on your vids for my WJ.
You need a tv show! This is very informative!
That was awesome you were so basic and simple easy steps to follow. You should be a teacher good job bro!
GREAT HOW-TO VIDEO MAN, NO B.S. JUST GETTIN IT DONE & DONE RIGHT. THANKS
Ok for starters love the videos. So thank you. For another I really wish I knew about the disconnectors for fuel lines. Lol. Would have helped alot with coolant lines!
Great video!! Very concise and methodical. You got a new subscriber in me! Spectacular work!
En el grupo donde me encuentro de Cherokees te recomendare tus videos, explicas como es y sin retrasos gracias por enseñar a quienes buscamos el defecto
Once again. best instructional videos on UA-cam
You sir, deserve a Klondike Bar.
Couldn't be much better than explained IMHO.
Thank you.
Dude, this a great instructional video. Thanks for sharing.
Just the video I was looking for!
Great video. Us shadtree mechanics appreciate it. Also that is a slick jeep,i mean that thing looks wicked.
Thank you
Thanks bro! Great video!
thanks, this helped out a lot. Appreciate the video and instructions
The Professor at work…
Thanks Bro!
All iv owned is dodges, very well done video on the process man. Spot on
The Black Cap on the Fuel rail is the Schrader valve that can be used for Checking and/or depressurizing the fuel pressure.
You don't really want to spray fuel all over when you could just cumbust it!
I have to say you are a life saver. Amazing shit! Thanks man! I saved all your videos.
Great video!!! Nice
Great video. Hell yeah I want those Bosch injectors. I've got about 240k on my 5.2 and I think it's running great but I want it to be a little faster.
Thanks for the video.
Bro you do the best videos 👍🏾
Thank you!
Nice video. Very informative.
Great video dude 👍
damian marley in background, 5.2 zj in foreground. literally paradise
Great video, I have one suggestion, blow/clean all the dirt and debris from the top of the engine to prevent dirt from falling down the injector hole.
Just an Outstanding Video! You have a Gift my Good Man. I'm Subscribing as I Type.
I have a video production business and your filming is spot on and your timing and pacing are also outstanding. Clear concise audio is the key to Top Shelf video. Good Job. FYI, I don't care what your wife says about your expensive habit, (auto's) just kidding.....
You deserve way more subscribers bro, it'll happen. This channel is legit! Its great content! 5:46 BRUHH LMAO
Thank you
@@barricadegarage5361 Merry Christmas my dude!
Excellent video
Great video! Thanks.
Damn here I was thinking that cleaning the injectors in my truck was going to be an easy job. Boy was I WRONG, thanks for opening my eyes all the other videos don't show all the steps but you did. Great video though thanks.
Trust me its easy and thanks for watching
You must have got a deal those tap it covers Jeeps kind of upside down on one side or maybe it's camera I don't know I just noticed that I own these Jeeps on my fourth one 52 same ones your videos are definitely spot on
I actually liked the video.
Thanks, brother. You just helped me save several hundred dollars.
Good video!!
Nice jeep!
Your Jeep look nice man
Thank you
good job on the video.
Great video thank you
Excellent video, very clear, even called out the bolt sizes. I have a 94 and its a bit different with the fuel pressure regulator on the rail itself. One question, did you try cleaning the old injectors, I got a significant boost just from cleaning the old ones.
Man you brake it down, I am glad I found this channel!!! What are those wheel specs? Thanks again
31×10.50 mud terrains on 15 inch steel wheels and thanks for watching
Great vid .. will help with doing the Dodge Ram i have .. thanks
Good job 👍
A .410 shotgun brush cleans the injector cups nicely. Chuck it into a drill and scrub them out.
Wow......your good. Excellent. Thank you.
Best vid on changing fuel injectors out there. Nice job.
Super stoked to have you as a resource. Great video! Would you take Requests? I need help with replacing a front disc brake flex hose on the passenger side. ..
I dont plan on doing that no time soon and I just replaced that hose on my wifes '97 last year. Its a simple fix and As long as you have yourself a good set of flare nut wrenches you should be ok
Great video except before you take the injectors out that's good too use a little lite air pressure to blow some of the sand and dirt out from around the injectors keep dirt out of the motor but other than that good job.😀
Nice video and gives you all the instructions on how to do the job. I need to replace the injectors in my truck eventually but I have a 59 L and I want to put Edelbrock.
24-3511 fuel rails but it requires a Edelbrock air intake, but do you think I can just get away with doing it on the stock intake and Bosch injectors because I don’t think that upgraded air intake has a heater core
Just watched your videos on the injectors, holly throttle body, and Aem intake what did you gain from all that. Looks like a lot of money, what it worth it and what is the mileage on your jeep? I have a 93 with 210,000 and 35's wondering if this is worth doing? Enjoying the channel, thanks for the insight.
Removing clips is nerve racking 😆I have never found anything that can make them less likely to break
I see that your jeep has 230,000 miles.
mine has 199000 miles and is running very well but I do want to do some work to it.
I'm hoping keep it running well for a long time.
Your videos help me a lot.
Next I'm going to do all brakes and suspension.
Then I have to start working on the four-wheel drive.
Well I'm reading through these posts and I came upon My Old Post and since then A lot happened .
I found a similar 97 which had a lot of that work already done so I sold my first zj for this one that had most of the work done already.
It's been great. I've got it up to about 240k and it runs perfect.
Saw one just like mine with 400k that just sounded great.
So I'm shooting for 400k now.
I just did this to my 98 zj. Same motor. Really being honest it did give me better acceleration. But it seems like I'm always running rich. But granted. I only drove it about 20 miles after the fact. And from my experience of being a mechanic for 15 years it normally takes the computer about 150 miles to re adjust
