Kickoffs in Rocket League can either make or break your game, and be the difference between a win and a loss, which is why it is ESSENTIAL that you must get a good kickoff so that this doesn't happen to you. As I have probably done almost 100,000 kickoffs in my time playing Rocket League, I have the best 3 kickoffs that you can learn and use, ranging from beginner to advanced. So, listen up and hopefully you will be able to start destroying your opponents on kickoff!

I recently hit champion without any special kick off. just driving at the ball. i think its time for me to finally learn this

For those who are practicing the beginner kickoff and don't know how to turn off unlimited boost, pause and go to options, it should be on the first page.
Helical: speedflips are very complicated

i started doing speed flips in gold
Am gold 3 and I can almost speed flip the problem is that sometimes I backflip and allot to times I don’t hit center of the ball or I go under the ball instead making the ball going over me making me lose the kickoff rn I been losing so much I been derankings allot so ama just stick to my normal diagonal kickoff and when am like plat 2 or diamond ama do it again or ama just spend hours in free play practicing which one should I choose try speed flip only in training for practice or completely stay away from it until I hit plat 2 or just keep trying it even tho ama lose allot of kickoffs trying it.
What I recently learnt about the forward flip is to keep holding forwards until you land and that way the car will meet the ground properly instead of hitting the ball still in the air
After watching this video and trying out new kickoffs in free play i jumped into a 1s game and won 80% of my kickoffs before he rage quit after I was beating him 4-1. Thanks for this.

0:35 this is so funny to see idiots saying idiotic stuff like "you only score on kick-off" or "you always score from my mistakes but you suck". Well... Maybe if I am able to consistently score on kick-off again and again, chances are you are doing something wrong? Same goes for scoring in open net, it was you who gave me the opportunity to do that.

Speed flips are in my oppinion so easy to understand but i have only seen very few tutoriaös which explain it that easy to people who dont understand rocket leauge terms

if you guys didnt know, (on pc) if you hold w or your forward move button and air roll button that u have to have binded( just the button not with shift/ctrl) you can diagonal flip, and that is HUGE for the speed flip. AND THERES BARELY ANY PPL THAT KNOW THAT

I learnt the diagonal kickoff without even knowing what it is but I still miss the ball in my kickoffs
I am champ 3 and I still just front flip to the ball haha. I never found a good tutorial for the diagonal flip so I just ignored it. I can speed flip most of the time but not enough to risk it outside of my 1s matches. I will try this out.

I do a variation of a speed flip that faster than the diagonal but a little bit slower than the speed flip
I can actually do the speed flip in plat but I have to bound boost to another button not used to it

Literally here right after losing 3 kickoffs in a row because I know my kickoffs are weak af or I just completely miss the ball, land wrong, etc.

I spent about 45 mins on diagonal one because i want to get out of 1s silver and 2s gold
So since you are on a controller, when doing the diagonal kickoff do you also air roll?
If u air roll and do a normal front flip it makes a perfect diagonal flip with no errors and it easyier with practice and i do this 2 and it is so much better
When Im boosting someone or smurfing in 1v1s below champ all my goals are just speed flipping then getting it around him without flipping and he will just go flying by

-Previo a golpear la pelota con el salto, apuntar al centro
-Saltar y quedar lo mas cerca de ese centro sin hacer un segundo salto
-Hacer un segundo salto lateral al lado opuesto de la cancha donde iniciaste
-Si ves que tu oponente esta de la mitad hacia un lateral, el paso anterior se hace hacia el opuesto de tu oponente.

I’m a d3 and using the speed flip anywhere below diamond is pretty op as you will have the upper hand in most kickoffs (most of the time for me it’s not the opponent, but me who messes up the flip)
My opponets just frontlines and because of that I once conceded 6 kick off goals and lost 7-6. I only scored 1 kick off but just because my enemy messed up
God this hurts me so much. I don't have anyone to talk to. I need a physical coach to help me see what's wrong. Ive tried for 2 hours straight and I can't get the super sonic to trigger and rarely do I actually hit the ball. Idk what I'm doing wrong.

What’s the difference between air roll and air roll left/right?
See I have an issue, my controller no longer diagonal flips forward, only backwards so I can't speed flip or diagonal flip. so I am trying to learn the wave dash kick off
I just hit Champ 2 today and I can't do speed flips, can barely do air dribbles and certainly can't do ceiling shots and shit like that

Hello sir, I was wondering what the proper etiquette was for what each player’s responsibility is in each position with all the different starting formations. Some formations are more obvious who’s supposed to do what. Sometimes the goalie position decides to go grab a boost, is that proper? Stuff like that, no worries if you don’t see this 👍🤝

So,e times the goalie will chest up with you or go for boost, neither is or correct, just be prepared to save a kickoff goal if things go wrong

your diagonale is already a speed flip right ? cause the back of the car never passed in front... and when i look your joystick while playing, it looks like speedflip...
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I have the feeling that in the "diagonal flip kick off" he used the speed flip instead of the diagonal one (we can see the cancel on the controller)

@@goulvenpierrain2166 He's doing a speedflip, I just compared the control movements side by side and they're identical, he even holds air roll for both clips lol. I'm assuming he messed up the edit or something but it's definitly a speed flip.
if you are playing 2's and you're both diagonal only 1 goes right, this counts for every rank

Im trying to use the beginner kickoff and it just seems very high risk to AT BEST hit the ball at the same time as someone just boosting straight. Im plat 2

I hate kick offs. They are the reason why I a, still down in p2. In one game I was leadin 3-0, then I conceded 4 kick off goals, then 1 real goal actually, then I made 3 goals again and then he scored 2 kick off goals again. In that game I also scored 1 but only because enemy messed up
