- It's unbelievable that this worked. Fortunately, mother Queen👑Uniek was able to see this up close. How special! Queen👑Uniek has had a dead foal twice (Star & Twinkle Star). Now I tried it differently. First I managed to get Queen👑Uniek pregnant, by means of Embryo Transplantation the embryo was transferred to Coralle. And now a beautiful foal has been born. Belle Uniek fan Stal Horjus.
Less than 10 days later Uniek was put to sleep 😔💔

When we think back to how coralle was at the beginning of her time with you Yvonne! You worked your gentle accepting magic on her to mould her into the beautiful mem we see today

Uniek may not have known that was her daughter but I can say she truly loved babies. Her loving eyes while she looked on at the new foal was priceless. She was truly a mother through and through.

It's almost as if Uniek knew this was her foal. What loving eyes she had looking at the baby. I could almost hear her saying "Welcome to the world sweet baby. We have waited so long for you. I have to leave you soon so you be a good girl for Coralle and Yvonne."

I think now is about time me to stop the repeat showing of Queen Uniek in view of her sad passing some time ago, and that also of her baby and later her adopted chestnut colt. I realise you may be in need of the revenue, but this is sad viewing when you are aware of the full circumstances.
Queen Uniek passing is sad but remembering these times is special to see she truly was a Queen very special horse 🐎 running freely in heaven
@@gillhall7590 This channel brings many people together from around the world, some who just love horses, and then others of us who understand the complexities of equine keeping first hand. But if it was just horsey videos this channel wouldn't have thrived. It's the shared sense of life's up and downs, barn or otherwise (as in Yvonne's fall) that have brought us together in a very hectic, divisive world. However that happens for as long as it lasts, is ALWAYS a miracle. Everyone here is free to join in fellowship, or leave, if the Herd isn't for them, wouldn't even waste energy criticizing something not for me, but would move on down the trail. Just some thoughts.
It is truly special that Uniek lived long enough to witness the birth of her final foal, to be fostered by Coralle. And after so many pregnancy trials! I think Belle Uniek is a fitting tribute for her biological mother!

I loved the way you went into Uniek’s stall and gently stroked her cheek while watching Belle and Coralle in the stall. It was so lovely to see Coralle trusting you to touch her baby and her. Very gentle mare. Please say you will be allowed to keep Coralle as your mare. She is really and truly a big part of Stall H now💖💖🙏🙏🍀🍀🇨🇦

I'm at a loss for words! That was so beautiful. And Uniek was transfixed by the whole process. So bittersweet seeing Uniek watch Belle.
Queen Uniek always loved the foals. Her tenderness whilst looking at the baby and her respect towards Corella, was an absolute reflection of her whole life. There is a reason why Uniek was the Queen. There will never be another horse to match her natural nurturing of the entire herd. She loved all of them. She commanded respect because of her innate kindness, and grace.
Corella is already a good mom. You can tell she's gonna be wonderful to Belle. I happen to feel, deeply, that Uniek knew the baby was hers. So much beauty in this video. Thank you, Yvonne.
This teaches us all not to take not even one minute for granted. Looking at them you would never know the queen would be gone in 10 days. She looks so wonderful here.❤😢

Uniek watched the entire labour and was so interested in the foal. Coralle never chased Uniek away like Saly would have. It's almost as if they both understood that they're both the mem of this precious little filly.❤❤

I remember Uniek prancing in place as they brought Rising Star into her stall after losing her foal. I cried a river watching that video and I loved Uniek ever since. Such a sweet loving soul has to be in Heaven.

Uniek gazes so lovingly at Belle; almost as if she knows that’s her foal. What a relief to finally have a live filly, but then troubles. I could have sat here for hours watching this. However, always at the back of my mind is the knowledge that this is one of Uniek’s last days. Congratulations and condolences, Yvonne. Your heart must be enormously strong to deal with everything. I am so, so glad you got a filly. I think the birth hurt you more than Coralle!

Coralle has really grown on me. I remember Saly and Wunder trying to intimidate her when she first joined the herd. She was so confident and not stressed about any of it.
And who doesn't like Uniek and Yvonne both watching Belle together? Such a great moment and memory to have. It's so nice to see the horses and their different personalities.

@JulieRichards-sk6kk I know a couple were shipped to Alberta, and that's 2 large provinces away from where I am. It's a 5 hour plane flight if you don't have a layover in Toronto, Ontario, the provincial capital. I'm in the nation's capital, which, by car, is 6 hours away from Toronto. Jenn 💖

Why making her pregnant when it’s was so risky ..perhaps she would have lived longer .
But anyway there is Bella with a mixed of dnas that we know these days the mother do gives it’s dna to the baby when pregnant .

We do not know how much they know. Humans can only assume to know. Animals are so much in touch with pure emotions that we humans could ever begin to understand. Uniek knew. That face those eyes , made me cry.

I cried watching this. Happy tears to see Belle join the world and Sweet Queen Uniek looking so lovingly at her daughter. Coralle is doing so well with her and is being a very attentive momma. ❤❤❤ I'm feelimg so grateful that Uniek was present for her birth and they were able to "meet" each other.

Carella is a great mom. She knows her job and she does it well.
Yeah I think there was some question if she ever had a foal before but she seemed like she knew what she was doing. When she was looking for the foal because she passed the first leg.

@@lisajoyaslanis I've never remember her saying that with any certainty, it would also be a bit strange to have a young completely inexpirienced mare be a broodmare for this procedure. Who is then the leader of the herd too.

Coralle gave birth to a beautiful female foal for Uniek and Yvonne. It's touching to think Uniek had one more direct descendant in her history, carried by Coralle. I admit I hoped some part of Coralle's name would have been part of Belle's name. I hope you are happy now you have this foal..

It's so special that Coralle, such a strong, in-charge horse as she is, allowed Uniek to look over the stall fence at her newborn foal. And while Uniek didn't know that this was her own baby, it's very clear that she loved babies. She looked with adoration at just about every foal who crossed her path. It will be beautiful to watch Belle grow and have reminders of Uniek through her. My thoughts are still with you, Yvonne ❤ (Edit: and oh, the soft eyes that Coralle has with little Belle. She's a sweet horse, but seeing this new facet of her personality melts my heart)

I was sad so few people mentioned Coralle , shame it must have been a difficult delivery , make no mistake I loved our dear Queen as much as anyone ! It just must be awful to be a surrogate but at least humans have the choice . No criticism intended Yvonne and I am very glad for you that you still have part of Uniek with you , it’s just my gut feeling .

I know it was difficult for you to edit this film knowing that Uniek is gone to the Heavenly Pastures. I got choked up and teary eyed watching her look at her new born daughter. But at least she was able to see her for 10 beautiful days before she left us. Now Princess Belle will carry on her legacy, as will all her foals from past years. I have been watching Prince Julius on another UA-cam Channel and you can see so much of Queen Uniek in him. May God grant you good luck from this point on with all your horses and ponies, including Glendy. Everyone please pray for her. God Bless Everyone here, especially Yvonne, her Family and Herd.
