I did this about three times in the past. For the lighter weights, I mostly used a vodka bottle and a tequila bottle

thank you for this. I always struggle with lateral raises, whenever I go up it hurts my elbow and shoulder so I never done them again :(
Maybe try practicing with no weights? Or really light weights? And think about lifting with the shoulders! 😄💪
