Ingredients:
3 lbs beef shank
2 lbs tendons
10 lemongrass stalks
10 carrots
2 ginger
5-6 whole shallots
5 cinnamon stick
10 star anise
3 rock sugar
3 tablespoon of tomato paste
cooking oil
1/2 cup minced lemongrass
1/2 cup minced garlic
1/2 cup of fish sauce
3 tablespoon paprika
2 tablespoon of all purpose flour
salt
pepper
cooking oil
lime
green onions
cilantro
fresh chili
water
your choice of carbs (noodles, rice, bread)
instead of tin foil, you should use a fabric bag. They sell those for Pho spices.
Thanks I usually use foil when I don’t have the bags, it works just as well!
I don't like to put the aluminum foil in the pot. One thing I like about this video is speed. LOL. I am tired of other videos that are too long and too slow. In some videos, presenters chat too much.

Looks good. Quick question though, if you wrap your spices up in aluminum foil before throwing it in your pot, how can it add flavour?
Anna Michel You just have to lightly wrap it, spices are potent, trust me it will add flavor to your broth.

Yep. Never seen anyone using foil in cooking.
nothing wrong with that at all. . many pots and pans are aluminum.
Not a good footage ... no idea of cooking time of shrank or soup
shelly wu video says 1.5 hours for soup. Shank make sure it cook evenly.
