    About Simple Little Life:
This channel has sort of turned (inadvertently) into a knife making channel. But the original idea behind what we wanted it to be is this description below:
Videos on our journey to homesteading. With a recent purchase of a little piece of the Alberta prairie, we're looking to sell our nice suburban home in search of a more meaningful life beyond chasing the "American dream" working for some big company and making someone else rich. It's not about the money, it's about getting the most value from the work I do to improving the life of my family.
Some preparedness, DIY, building quality things with your hands, guns, gear, and outdoor exploration.

I have a soft spot for the color grey and that knife fits the bill. Two out of three of mt favorite knives are grey for the most part. I like neutral colors.

Hey Jeremy, don't leave the hardened blade in the nitrogen for that long, the process of left over austenite converting to martensite happens almost instantly. Leaving it in there for so long increases the risk of cracking due to the high inner tention. 30min-1h and you are good to go ;)
Greetings from germany, love your channel!

Best knife I've seen made in a long while. I really like the seax
profile for a BBQ type slicer. A cimitar works great for butchering and slicing but I'd like one of these. :)
Looks like your customer is a TOPS knives fan. They brought out that rock "mountain" pattern to their mass produced products. I really like the way you did yours, though. Better thought out and looks more comfortable to grip.
I made a knife for a buddy who's still in the Air Force, used the fasteners like you used here. I cut out material where you drilled the weight reduction holes and used the space to conceal a survival kit which included the standard stuff (fish hooks, Ferro rod, etc.) and a hand cuff key and exothermic chemical fire starter, just to found it out. As long as he has his knife, he's good.
It's much better than the traditional hollow handle with a compass pommel. LOL. You should try making one here, good project that people really like.
