About Simple Little Life:
This channel has sort of turned (inadvertently) into a knife making channel. But the original idea behind what we wanted it to be is this description below:
Videos on our journey to homesteading. With a recent purchase of a little piece of the Alberta prairie, we're looking to sell our nice suburban home in search of a more meaningful life beyond chasing the "American dream" working for some big company and making someone else rich. It's not about the money, it's about getting the most value from the work I do to improving the life of my family.
Some preparedness, DIY, building quality things with your hands, guns, gear, and outdoor exploration.

As a relative “new” knife maker I love watching your videos you post here there is ALWAYS something to learn even after watching some of these two or three times I pick something up, keep up the good mate I appreciate all the effort that goes into em they are really well edited.
Cheers
Beau
Thank you so much! I really appreciate that 👍
Having watched hundreds of various knife, sword, axe, etc. making videos, this is legitimately the first time I've seen, or even heard of anyone using liquid nitrogen in the process. I just about always see tempering done the same way, with either an oil or water quench, or on the rare instance with titanium, a plain air cool. Really hope to see more of this method in the future!
VERY COOL
Love the black one so clean simple beauty
Beautiful work! They both turned out awesome! I loved the simplicity of the design and lines! Your videos are awesome to watch and I learn a lot from watching them, appreciate the knowledge you share and the great content!🤜💥🤛🍻
Thank you so much! I really appreciate that.
I’ll never complain anymore about the price of handmade knife !! So much work !!!
Thank you! 👍
It doesn't happen very often to see me drooling on my keyboard, so... congrats!
Oh boy, both knives are as PERFECT as perfection itself and in aspects that can be reached. Excellent job, my appreciation!
I don't get why someone klicks that "Dislike-button", and it was klicked even 52 times! What is wrong with them? Nothing more to say.
Thank you so much, I appreciate that! 👍
One is the knife Batman carries, the other is a showpiece that's just too beautiful to use. Fantastic jobs!
Both knives came out great. I like the false bevel because it lightened up the look of the knife. Well done.
Thank you sir 👍
Great looking knifes! Thank you for sharing!
This is, and always had been, one of my favorite EDC fixed blade styles. Nice.
Your video is an excellent example of when fine workmanship & creativity merge together and a work of art is born. Bravo 👏🏼
Thank you very much, I appreciate the kind words! Cheers👍
Another good one! 🤠👍
Absolutely gorgeous blades. Top notch, supreme quality work. Thank you for posting these for viewing
Thank you very much. I appreciate it 👍
О Господи, это изумительный нож!!! Не описать мой восторг, вроде бы ничего необычного, но работа шикарная! Респект тебе!
It's a beautiful shape design! I loved both knives!
Thank you!
outstanding work! they're beautiful.
This knife is AMAZING. You did a phenomenal job. Highly impressed.
Beautiful!! Love this design! Clearly influenced by Persian blades and unless I’m mistaken the profile is referred to as a “trailing edge”. Stemming from the fact the edge (the tip) still is technically cutting once the handle has passed. Awesome knife SLL!
Everything you make from shop tools to knives are GREAT!!!
Beautiful!!
Thank you!
I love the O-1 version. That is absolutely gorgeous
I really miss this kind of video , long and with commentary , really beautifull knife men , keep up the good work!!
A very cool design, with the two different approaches on these two it looks as though it could be quite versatile. The black G10 looks like a real worker.
good looking knife. Reminds me of the old Schrade apple skinner
Thanks👍
Watching you cut metal on the band at fast speed is so satisfying!
I really like the false edge on the second knife, but the simple handle on the first. Great job! thanks for sharing.
I agree, Ernie. I'd like to have the stainless blade with the black handle.
I dig it. It’s like a skinner/fighter combo.
I really like the shape of the knife and both of the handle finishes.
I really like the belt sander lines on the blade. Very nice look.
Nice design, I hope more people follow your Narration of the video's. For me Narrated video's are easy to understand. Thanks
Gorgeous pieces, you went for the lines and boy did we get lines. Simple done right, keep it up!
Damn bro of all the knife videos I've watched this one is the coolest....the end product looks very expensive and not easy to duplicate.
I don't make them but I sure do love them..... congratulations.
Thank you so much! I appreciate that 👍
awesome blade
Thank you!
Very, very.nice.
really beautiful! I love the blade shape. It Does remind me of my old timer Schrade Sharpfinger.
Thank you. Yeah it does remind me of that too.
those look super good and comfy in the hand.

Thats a sweet looking knife👌🏻
Black and red goes real good together👍🏻

wow beautiful knives. I like the acid stone wash on carbon steel knives. helps normalize the patina and maintains a homogeneous darkening.
Thank you. Yeah I agree 100% 👍
Really nice work on this knife.
Thank you very much!!
One of my most favorite knife by you😁
Wow!
Now that’s a cool knife....👍🏼
Favourite so far, I wants one

Nice work!👍
Thank you! 🙏
Looks amazing like usual keep doing what you do!
I love this project. Yeah, I get bored doing the same knives over and over, that's why we've decided to never make the same knife twice ;) And making videos for UA-cam really helps it ;)
I would love to have one of the 02 steel knives. That is a great looking, knife
Woah almost looks like same shape as one of my recent knives. Sweet shape!
I do believe you could make a living making knifes...lol...these were just awesome blades...as usual...you do give a false reading tho...you make it look easy...we the beginners cry alot...have a great day Jeremy...from the lower 48....
Love your videos, very honest
Thouroghly impressed on your knife making process. Learned a lot from this video great job man

That was cool, you made a very nice blade, them scales are beautiful .😍😁👍👌
Pokey stabby indeed.
Two lovely knives.
Same same but different. Nice work J and welcome back. Haven't seen you do one of these in a while. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you very much Frank, I appreciate that 🙏👍

Haven't been watching your channel lately not because there not good, but let u build some new stuff that I can pig out on, awesome stuff bro like usual, been taking notes from u for a while and made some of my own knifes and love every min of u. So thanks bro
both very beautiful!
Beautiful knife!!! I want one!!!
keep the videos coming... I love the G10 stone washed one.
Thank you!
It's basically a modified modern version of the old-timer sharp finger hunting knife like the one I carry on my hip. They used to advertise that particular knife is being able to scan everything from a squirrel to an elephant if I remember properly but it's something along those lines.
I LOVE this knife! Great job as usual, Jeremy. I look forward to the next video.
Always enjoy your vids👍
Thank you very much !
Beautiful! I like them both!
Love it!!!
love the profiling and ergos
Amazing pieces the shape is great... Martin
Very nice blades I would love to edc either of them.
It was a pleasure to watch you work, sir.... loved the video!
Thank you very much! 🙏👍
Both rock luv em 👍
Super!!!!
Looking good Jeremy!
beautiful knives bro
Very beautiful work. What kind of material is used for the handle?
Hello men. I love your watch. Great job.
Really awesome build I’d like to know if you have sheaths for your knives and do you have a store
Nice great explanations to detail how can I purchase a knife
Like always awesome video! Do you hang your A65 trizac gator belt over the edge of the platten like you would a J-Flex for getting in the plunges? Sometimes they give me a hard time!
Loved it! Great job!
Wow. Another super fast simple little knife. You really have got this process nailed and the result is a very high quality piece. A joy to watch, many thanks.
Good lookin' blades...nice work!
This looks awesome! Would look great with some ebony wood scales too maybe
Phenomenal build sir!
beautiful work, Jeremy - i never thunk g10 scales could look _that_ lustrous and clean!
Beautiful work man. I'd love to carry either one every day
Nice knives prefer the stainless but like em both really good job. 👍
Thank you very much! 👍
More than one way to make a knife for skinning cats more than one way 😁 gorgeous little blades Jeremy 👍
More amazing work Jeremy! I love the Nitro V knife.
USAKnifeMaker for the win!! They are 45 min south of me and are the host of our knifemaking guild. I love their selection, great customer service too!
Hi Jeremy. I am curious about your vertical saw, specifically the saw you are using to cut steel blanks. I have a small “scroll” type saw my grandpa gave me to cut wood scales, but it would definitely not hold up to hard steel. Thanks in advance.
And as always brother! A fantastic video, your an inspiration to us all man
You can use router tool to make the 45 edge on the scale
Yeah I’ve tried that before. It does work but it so fast and end up making any mistake happen fast too😆. But yeah that can be a good way to go 👍
@@Simplelittlelife I see. You are the man 😄 love your work anyway
Love your videos. What kind of information can you provide on your liquid nitrogen setup? Where to get the container and the liquid nitrogen? How often do you need to replenish the liquid nitrogen? Thanks.
Yeah I like the false bevel on the thicker version, gives it a sleeker look.
Right on. I think I am on that side too but I’m amazed at how many people love the stone washed version. 👍
