    I been doing this service for over thirty years . Started from when it first came out. I took classes for three days on this. First you never wash the hair first. I will irritate the scalp and there is three chemicals that have to go on the hair. I don’t know how long she left the neutralizer on but it should sit for twenty minutes. After the process you get as much water out as possible and use the wave nouveau finishing lotion starting on the scalp. If you don’t the scalp will start itching. You part the hair and apply just like greasing your scalp. Then massage it through the rest of the hair. You will do this everyday for the next three days, after you can do it every two days. There is no other product that takes the place this finishing lotion. It’s your magic for keeping your hair Healthy and shiny.

    Thank you for the video. Can you please address the criticism thats floating around saying that upon retouching the new growth this perm damages the already treated hair? Many are flocking to the new Gina Curl because she’s saying that her process is healthier for Black hair than traditional curly perms. She’s charging people upwards of $1200 for this “new” curly perm process. I’m not convinced the information is accurate and it just seems like an existing process is getting put down just so money can be made on this quote new unquote process. I have yet to see a stylist really address it from a side by side perspective as I would like to get either a wave nouveau or design essentials curl reconstructor but would like to be confident that the already chemically treated hair isn’t being reprocessed over and over after each retouch which could lead to damage and breakage. Thank you! ♥️

      @Mommyladyx2 3 роки тому +8

      As a child I was my moms model for everything(she was a stylist). I’ve had several curly perms and never had over processed hair. The process is the same. Your stylist is the one that will or will not pay attention to the line where the new growth stops. Your stylist should also let you know how to maintain your hair so that you can prolong the length of time between services. If I could manage it as a youngster, I’m sure you can manage as a grown woman. 👍🏽Save your money and find a good stylist to give you a body wave. 💚

    Your work is good! Does the hair have to be washed just before the Step 1 cream base is applied for Wave Nouveau like you did, because I noticed for your Care Free Curl separate video that client’s hair wasn’t washed first.

      If the hair is greasey yes you have to use so the grease does not serve a barrier to your process.

    Hi there,I have a MEGA PROBLEM, I tried to touch up my Wave Nevoue on my own hair, and I have bad results 😮 it did ttake , when I used to do ny own wave nouveau in the past I did a beautiful job. Can I repeat steps 2 and 3 again or should I wait until the under growths of virgin hair serfaces, or can I repeat steps 2 and 3.,? If so what is the wait time you would suggest?
