    Their needs to be a class for these push mower go-karts at every small town track! It would be a lot cheaper to get into than the expensive race karts but hot damn I bet it would be fun as hell!!!! Almost like bar stool racers but you have more of the work taken care of, like the engine already being mounted and a pretty solid chassis to mount everything on. Sure it could probably use a little re-enforcing but about 50% of the work is done for you! Im definitely going to get started on one soon

    Cool idea. Those kids are in heaven . I hope the fun lasts though. Those transaxles usually have brass or soft metal worm gears that are meant to wear down. If accessible- Perhaps a used snowblower with a friction disc trans might be more suited for added load. Inspiration for the next build perhaps.

    To all the Karen's saying it's unsafe;
    It's less dangerous than a mower cos it has NO blade.
    It's not breakneck speed. And I see no chance of it tipping over.
    Exhaust was relocated out of the way.
    I think people are just jealous! That was some fine engineering!!

      No the f@“@9’ it’s not.. Unless it’s a Remote Control Setup then that’s understandable. But a ‘go kart’ is just the stupidest idea ever.

      @@arberfilms5998 well tbh you can get lawnmowers for free all the time so if you just wanted some welding practice and a cheap little project this would be good

    OMG! Get out of my head! I so did this as a kid! Oh wait eRrmm, my Grandfather and my Dad did with pullies and belts from the drop deck mower of an old tractor. Honestly, It would constantly throw the belt so we spent 50% time fixing it but hella fun and looked almost exactly like yours! Good stuff wait till my brother sees this! KUDOS!
