Hey guys has anyone else woken up to it pouring with snow? I can’t believe I’m finally seeing snow in London, I think tonight calls for a Snow Stealth Camp in London which of course I’ll film and upload in a few weeks!
Before the lockdown police jump on my case, I'm sure many of you saw a comment from our dear friend 'GARY' he's now been blocked from the channel and I started to feel guilty for the amount of backlash he was getting from you guys haha so thanks for your support it made great reading. PLEASE DONT BE LIKE GARY! This has become my only source of income and a job therefore I believe I can create these videos and sleep overnight in my car, also as you can see from the videos I interact with absolutely nobody so there is no harm. In the case of Gary reporting me to the police I look forward to them arriving to my door and saying hello for them to realise Gary is a time waster! Happy to see you enjoying the videos and can't wait to share more!

Woke up this morning in New Zealand to a video from my niece in London: "It's snowing". Tune in to Will's channel from London: "It's snowing and I'm stuck in the cold in the countryside with a flat battery"". But where there's a "Will" there's a way and our intrepid stealth camper Will gets it sorted and we get to watch a great video :-) Keep warm and carry on Will.

I use 2 hot water bottles. To keep warm. Works a dream. Simply warm the water each night on the jetboil. Just before you lay down move the bottle around the bed to take the chill off the whole bed. Save the water each day and simply reheat the same water out of the bottle.

Advice from a car mechanic, a battery that's near failing, will fail when it's freezing temperatures, also, your jump start battery pack, get one with about six times more power, and the jump leads you mentioned of course. And to Gary Oneil, this is obviously his job, so of course he's allowed to go out even in this lockdown, plus the places he's 'stealth camping' in are car parks that allow overnight stays free. Keep up the good work Will, I liked the music and drone shots on this one :)

Here is what I do to heat when I am camping in my car in the freezing Cold! I stay in my car in the Freezing cold at times in the wilderness. Back a seats down, I bought a Small DC to Ac Power Inverter. Then I bought a small heated blanket. I lay on top of the heated Blanket and cover with other wool blankets. Nice & Cozy! Blanket has 10hour low setting auto shutoff. I never have to restart the blanket. However it does get to warm at times. So I just shut it off.
No need to use a Gas Heater.
But then again I am in Northern Mexico and Southwest US.
    Cheers!🥃
    Safe Travels.

    Suggestions:
    1. Add a 2ndary new Lithium-ion battery 12v 100wh..and an alternator to keep both the car and the other battery charged while driving.
    2. add a shore power attachment to ur battery so when ur at ur friend place or family's home to get the in use battery to fully charge
    3. Add a 2 liter (leave quarter space on top so when the bottle has hot air filled in un lock the cap n let the heat released) hot water bottle with wool cover will keep u comfy warm or a zippo hand warmer
    4. Install the mono oxide detector a lil higher than that or install a second one.
    5. Good tire chains
    6. Either lift the van a bit or change the tires for off road/snow/muddy roads..tire chains will help too.

Hi Will you need to get a beanie hat or any other woollen hat, put it on when you sleep at night and pull it down over your ears. Also look for some long woollen fingerless gloves which will keep your forearms warm too. You could wear a thermal vest too. But definitely a hat with keep you warm at night, as you loose 25% of your body heat though your head. Ditch the baseball cap when you are camping, it's no use at all with vented sides. Love your video's, I used to sleep in my car all the time after going to gig's and coming out late, feeling too tired to drive 2 hours home. Have fun xxx

Here in America, disposable hand/pocket warmers are for sale at stores in the winter. These are convenient with no smell but are expensive and the heat and length of time can be disappointing. It’s basically a smoldering chemical fire wood saw dust in a bag, from what I’ve gathered.
It seems in second world countries, the reusable refillable very affordable metal case warmers are used much more.

mayo is what took me from 70Kg to 110kg. Consider upgrading the eletrics. solar panel and a DIY lithium battery (they're cheap if you DIY them). with £800 you can make a battery that once charged will last a whole week including some heating at night, cooking with electricity etc. You can use the diy battery for all your stuff and not rely on the cars battery.

I was going to write a brief guide to using a diesel heater, but I just saw on another of your vids that the car runs on LPG, and I think I also saw you filling up with unleaded.
    This raises a few questions...
    1. You can of course use a diesel heater with an integrated diesel tank. If the car is a diesel car, you can plumb the heater directly into the car's fuel tank, but that won't work if the car is petrol or LPG.
    2. You would definitely need to drill a minimum of one 25mm hole for the heater's exhaust, and ideally two such holes about 25mm apart to suit the spacing of the inlet/outlet of the heater. One hole would be for the intake, the other for the exhaust.
    3. I see you have a leisure battery, which would definitely be sufficient to keep a diesel heater ticking over for a night or two.
    4. Diesel heaters soot up if you never let them get up to temperature, so best advice is to run them for a minimum of an hour, let them get your space up to temp, 20 degrees or so before turning them off, or letting them tick over via the thermostat.
    5. Make sure you never kill the power to a diesel heater (or let your battery go flat) without letting the unit go through its proper shutdown procedure.
    6. You would need only the smallest capacity heater for heating your car. I have a 5kw unit which is plenty for my garage/workshop, which isn't huge but must be 20 times the internal volume of even a large car like yours.
    7. The brand name heaters are a bit more expensive, but they are quite a bit more compact than the import ones from china. Personally, mine is a cheap Chinese import and I've been very happy with it.
    8. Fuel usage. On a really cold night, I've warmed up my garage from 0 to 20°c and then maintained a solid 20 degrees for 8 or 9 hours, and it works out to about £1 per day in diesel. I'd imagine your car is better insulated and less draughty than my garage, and definitely smaller, so your mileage would probably be better.
    9. If your car is indeed converted for LPG, you would need to be double careful when drilling holes in the floor so as not to hit any tanks or fuel lines, but they should be fairly easy to spot.
    10. Be sure to use a sealant which is suitable for high temperatures around your exhaust pipe. They get up to over 200 degrees c when running, so make sure you don't point at or route them near to anything which might melt.
    11. Diesel heaters are not silent, and make quite a bit of noise when starting up, and they quieten down a lot once your space is warmed up and they turn down to tickover. When they're cold, they can put out a cloud of steam from condensation inside the unit, but that stops after a couple of minutes.
    12. Get yourself a battery splitter, so that your leisure battery can be being charged from your car's alternator while you're driving, but when you turn the key off, it disconnects. Head to a camping shop, like Tam leisure in New Malden, just take the Shannon corner exit off the A3 by the Thales building and head towards Kingston. Under the railway bridge and they're on your left.
    Happy camping!

you might want to place the carbon monoxide detector higher. the heat creates a flow that sucks cold air from below which also carries the CO. as such, the CO will start to accumulate from the ceiling downwards.put it level with your head or above.

Can't be using blanket from day before to deplete battery as drove at least 20 mins night before which would charge up car battery. Definitely over head light on too long, also had car lights on while peeing outside and engine not on so all drains battery. I have battery powered led light velcro ed to ceiling which would replace light which runs off car battery also if tail gate not shut properly boot light might have been on! What about wearing fingerless gloves and hat? 😎
