Awesome job Tom. You are an artist. I have really enjoyed each of your defender videos. If I could make just 1 friendly suggestion. Please turn those awesome tires around so that the white letters are on the inside. Having them on the outside is like wearing a gold chain on the outside of your shirt. Great work!
Well done Tom, that looks amazing. It's actually motivating me to clean up the underside of my old 300Tdi, although no 4" lift I'll stay with OME 2". Great work.
Thank you. I went over the top with the underside but i didnt have a choice with it been poorly undersealed. I have OME 2" lift. It was the tyres that make up the other 2" 😂
@@lifes.projects Ah righto, that makes sense. I've got Maxxis 980 Bravo's on and they're huge, I'm going to get a smaller set and see how that performs. I'll send you a pic when OME and tyres are done. Thanks for your reply.

....tart's handbag is what my old off roading buddies used to call my Defender years ago....but they hadn't seen yours!.....I'm still bloody jealous about that 2 post lift.... :)

Very nice job, Tom. I´m starting with my brand new 110 2009 puma ; it´s still original , and i love it like that, but agree that the 235/85-16 are a bit thin....y just put a Pirelli Scorpion ATR but now thinking to make the uprgrade, 265 or 285 ¿? Congrats from Argentina
Thanks Matias. Mine has always driven so much better with the 285s even with the standard suspension. Only issue is that the tyre caught the wheel arch when turning left but that maybe because the wing was damaged.

@@lifes.projects many thanks boss. Do you by any chance have a photo of them installed without spacers? I see they are offset et10 on their website and I cannot find a proper image online of what that translates to in terms of fitment

@@lifes.projects What size are your wheels, they look bigger than 16s? Do you know what width the rims are , and what the offset is? cheers!
@@disco_richy6467 they are 16" diameter and 8inch wide. The spacers are 30mm. Tyre size is 285/75/16
