Car made 316whp/259wtq with stock headers and Tomei Y pipe. +20whp/+13wtq gain from the header and Y pipe change.
This video further highlights the benefits of having a quality header on your car. I was happy to be able to dyno this particular header and Y pipe combination since the ISR Y pipe has served my customers well in the past.

Do you think upper and lower ported manifolds are worth it?
I’ve heard that both ported upper and lower are beneficial on the VHR for NA applications but for the HR the ported upper is the main gain maker. For boost I’ve heard having both ported works nicely

Don't know if you've seen this video but is 361whp possible with the mod list for the grey Z? I'm trying to find out the best combination of parts to hit 350whp or more with bolt ons and 94 octane before I drop cams in and nitrous afterwards. The grey car is quite a bit faster than the red Z that put down 347whp which makes me think the grey Z's numbers are real, and he's making that with stillen gen 3 intakes and not 3" intakes.
I got a 2017 6MT Z. I figure if I do isr longtubes, isr y pipe, some type of 3" single exit, 3" intakes and a tune I would be able to hit 350whp at least on 94 octane. I know every car is different but based on midel's Z, what if he had 3" intakes instead of the gen 3's and made more than 361whp then added aggressive cams on top of that. Would it be possible to hit 370-375 at the wheels on pump gas N/A?
You would want E85 and PPE headers if you want to touch 350whp.

Hello. I have a track-dedicated 350Z DE with mods that include Tomei Expreme headers, high flow cats, and an aftermarket dual exhaust making 262whp. I am considering switching to long-tube headers (PPE or ISR) to go along with the upcoming cam, plenum, and intake upgrade. However, due primarily to cost, and since my Tomei shorties are already high quality headers, I’m wondering if I could keep the Tomeis and get closer to LT header performance by adding a quality y-pipe such as from Z1 and test pipes. Anyone able to comment? Thank you.

It would take awhile on an NA car but I think with 450+ whp it could do it with relative ease,
My g37 sedan hits 160-170 off just a simple tune and intakes

Man I want get a tuned with you guys in person. I know I email you guys and you guys offered online tuning. I don’t even know how that works never done it before. Next plan for my 15 q50 is isr long tube header I currently have the ark catback, Stillen pulley and k&n drop in filters tune number are 279whp and 250trq at DB tuning in Minnesota. That number is pretty low idk why maybe they suck!

What's to say that 316 whp-335whp jump after the LT headers tune isn't just because of the cat delete? A more accurate comparison would've been tuning and dynoing it with regular common test pipes such as Z1s and than swapping them out for the ISR LTHs and seeing if there's any gains to be made.
Because the 316whp pulls were with test pipes so the cats were deleted already.

You should definitely be able to, I've got a full single exit catback and test pipes and no tune and I can spit some baby flames. Depending on how you tune it you can def shoot some big flames.
Do you also need the ISR Y pipe in order to run those headers on a 370z or will they have a direct fit for any catback exhaust?

20 hp gain on a V6 is actually pretty good considering that’s in addition to the mods he already had. Stock everything they put down 275-285 ish. So 285-336 from exhaust, intake, and tune is darn good on a N/A V6!!
