  • In one of his more profound and somber works, Jung discusses death, describing it as not only a very natural part of life, but ultimately, the goal of it. Also outlined is the proper attitude towards death, particularly among those of advanced age. Jung hints towards his belief in an afterlife, as evidenced by the propensity of mankind to believe in such throughout the ages.

    Listening to this made me realize that I have a fear of living, truly living. You cannot read of listen to Carl Jung without changing.

      Karma doesn't exist, as in what Jung is saying what you call karma is a mirroring of our emotional content's that desperately need our full attention. 2 z 2=4

    This is so amazing we are so fortunate this extremely astute gentleman; Carl Jung broke down the doors of our conscious, consciousness, unconscious mental processes and then shared this with our world.

    Our brain, mind complex being conscious, consciousness as one function we have very little understanding how comprehensive our mind, experiences are as to meaning's back and behind in the context of our abstract, perceptions. Many live's to understand these compexities.

    Atheist need to watch this and hopefully be able to understand/interpret the context of Jung's views on the soul & death. They really need to learn to have an open mind about spiritualism and see it from a different perspective other than science.

      I'm an atheist, although I don't like the fact that there is a word for not believing in something that doesn't exist. However, I'm always open to what others think. It remains though, that I cannot be removed from the position of believing that when I die, that is the end. It's as strong as your belief in God. Maybe we will exist outwith space and time, do you want to? I think ultimately, everyone wants to exist in a world where we are with our loved ones who have departed. All together. Any other existence is alien and unwelcoming. I know, and I mean know, my life here is all I'll ever have.

      @Cloud A belief that hurts nobody, doesn't impose itself on others, doesn't foist sin on newborn children, doesn't try to control how people live their lives in any way. Yours on the other hand, almost certainly, does. That's the difference, but people like you will never see that.

      @Cloud Why would I be suffering? Because I don't believe in your belief, therefore I'm suffering.

      @@David-cm4ok Well it should tell you something that there is, in fact, no word for religion in many different peoples all over the world, although they all had beliefs in the supernatural. Believing in God or gods is one of the most essential aspects of human experience. So natural that there has never been any atheistic culture, with the exception of the degenerated abomination, which already manifests new religious behaviour in its cherishing of humanism, transhumanism, egalitarianism and cults like the BLM movement.
      For this very reason there is a term for your belief, or so-called non-belief. Because it is not the norm and deeply unnatural.

    • @David-cm4ok
      @David-cm4ok 3 роки тому

      @@CynfarLP It's unnatural? To believe in fairy stories invented thousands of years ago by Arabs, is insanity. You cannot think for yourself. You were brain-washed in your youth to follow God. God and religion were invented by man.
