    Now you’ll excuse me as I must continue to chop wood and carry water, and I am content to learn to practice love and kindness as best I can

    What an amazing video. I started off a bit unsure/bit confused…then I started getting it & the summary of Jung’s ideas towards the end are so insightful. Makes so much sense to me & I agree with his theories more than other ‘ideas’ I’ve heard/grown up with. Thanks for explaining a tough subject clearly

    Have had 3 NDEs, and believed in life after death. I lived a very violent life, not by choice, and saw many innocents die awful deaths. I want to believe in life after death, not necessarily for myself, but for those whose lives were so unfairly cut short..but as years go by, and the more the past becomes clearer, the more I question what is real and what I need to believe to survive...

      @OnceTheyNamedMeiWasnt I had an illegal partial lobotomy through the eye socket at 14. My stepfather and mother were monsters, without any redeeming qualities. They prostituted me as a child and wanted to turn me into a sex slave, didn't work, they still had to heavily drug me. I did , and do, have problems with memory and learning. Beforehand I was at the top of my class. They belonged to a group of like minded criminals, they were protected by many with power. When I was three my sadistic stepfather taped a sock in my mouth and beat me unconscious. He threw me on the bed, and I saw him molest me from the ceiling , in the corner, felt as though hands were holding me up. I remember everything he said. I was bleeding from my ears & nose. My mother came in and put a towel under me. They said if I died they would throw me in the lake. I was out for three days, I re-entered my body as a sister was reading to me. My mother said your lucky you woke up, we were going to throw you in the lake. I said " I know". I witnessed many awful, brutal " events" throughout my life. Pure evil up close. I had two other NDEs. I do believe there's more to our existence than we acknowledge on a daily basis. .another dimension? I have so much anger, hatred, sadness, that I have to swallow to function everyday, and want to imagine the innocents at peace to make some sense out of such an evil world.

    Wonderful presentation.
    I must admit that I don’t know anything about Jung because I have been fascinated with Einstein & Tesla.
    There are things that have happened in my journey through life so far that made me deduce similar conclusions with regards to the conscious, the unconscious, the sun-conscious & consciousness itself.
    Despite Einstein saying that everything happens in “space” & “time” … my experiences tell me that there are “ moments in space “ that are “space less “ & “timeless”.
    Your quotes & interpretation from Jung appears to mention this & confirms my own conclusions.
    Now, I am very interested in learning all I can about Jung & absorbing his knowledge & mostly importantly, UNDERSTANDING it.
    Thank you for being the catalyst on this learning adventure in this next phase of life for me
    Keep up your terrific work in raising awareness of the “study of the mind”
    Thank you
    Yours in care, compassion & trust,
    Paul.

      I have been fascinated by Jungs comments on that aspect of the psyche that seems to be timeless and spaceless. Especially because of my personal experiences with dreams, and other intuitions. Sounds ‘woo’ but also find it interesting the CIA had a program for remote viewing. I tested it out, and was amazed by the results. This triangulation of experiences I find hard to ignore, so I take it seriously.

    I am absolutely certain that if great men of the past, such as Jung, had been aware of certain concepts that have been brought about through a greater understanding of the language of the universe, mathematics, they would have made them central to their efforts to understand the workings of the mind. I am referring here to: the concept of existence within a multiverse, and also the concept of the existence of a fourth spacial dimension. They would have been in awe at what string theory and, its offshoot, loop quantum gravity have put forth, and the implications of the conclusions behind the math. I am certain, they would have made substantial revisions, or at the very least additions, to a great deal of their hypothesis in response.

    Does jung touch on the 6th sense ? & is it connected to the para psych & the unconsciousnesses subconscious ending in pure consciousness by way of seeing a dead loved one in a mirror for example . Which happend to me once only & by pure surprise & I had very little thought feeling or significance for the experience & dismissed it practically instantly until many years later it now intrigues me .

    Children passionately do not want to ever die. It's in their DNA to feel this way - this instinct supports our survival. Now that I am an adult - 70 years old - I don't need to survive now - I can accept the natural course of nature - all living things die - knowing I would die has led me to eudaemonia. What could be better than that? BTW - No animal ever experiences death. The biochemical-electrical processes that create consciousness stop - there is nothing there to witness death. I don't fear what I will never experience. I had a great life - realized my child hood dreams of music and writing and empowering others as well as myself. Eternal life would result in excruciating suffering - think it through - its not something anyone would want.

    great video, started wondering today jung’s specific pov on afterlife. i did get a lot of food for thought from this, but did raise even more questions from me
    for any thought of afterlife, reincarnation, etc i struggle with the understanding how a single personal consciousness stays any bit individual once it leaves the vessel it’s contained in ( my physical human body and ego for example). once returned back to the whole consciousness, i can’t shake the idea of a drop returning to the ocean. how could u ever differentiate that drop once it returns?
    when you speak of jungs explanation of the dead only being as far as they learned in life, what even holds them as dead individuals standing behind us? what are they attaching any sort of identity to? is it like air waves with different channels that live in the air, but individually broadcasted from a start point still?

    Hey its no mystery that we live many lives as theosophy, Anthroposophy, roscicrucianism know with absolute certainty that we live forever and many people remember their past lives in Atlantis and Lemuria, they can teleport themselves to distant places, Madame Blavatsky did this, and Gurdjeff, people who are advanced are called adepts, its well known there is a spiritual hierachies, ascended masters, there are seven Rishis, ascended masters; we are the 10th angel in the hierarchy and our purpose is as initiates to ascend up the spiritual ladder, this life is a school, we cross the abyss and meet the dwellers at the thresholds, we hopefully ascend to Devachan, we have elementals, angels, then archangels, the saints are ascended masters, Jesus was a very high solar being, a master, Saint Germaine is an ascended master, i call on the christ Jesus and Michael who is the archangel for this time! The problem with psychology is that mostly they have no belief in anything and do not know of the mystery schools, i am just learning but thanks, i am trying to understand what Jung was saying, great stuff!❤❤❤❤

    God did not make it a mystery what happens to people when we die. Those who die in their sins unforgiven will perish eternally in hell. Those who have been forgiven by God, by grace through faith in Jesus Christ will live eternally in paradise. / Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life, no one can come to the Father except through Him. John 14:6/ For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

    We are Islands of consciousness which are absorbed back into the Godhead after death. We are God wanting to know itself.

      It makes no sense if you’re God fearing but it makes sense if you’re channeling demons like Jung did. His Red Book has a terrifying painting of a demon who Jung consulted with. His teachings are false.

    ```Critics have accused Jung of metaphysical essentialism. His psychology, particularly his thoughts on spirit, lacked necessary scientific basis, making it mystical and based on foundational truth. Furthermore, they assert that his concept of archetypes are too vague to be studied systemically.``` In other words Carl Jung pulled all of his theories straight out of his butt. He was practicing "woo woo", which is dubiously or outlandishly mystical, supernatural, or unscientific. Carl Jung was the Deepak Chopra of the last century. If you're going to enjoy Carl Jung as anything more than a comedian, then you must completely abandon all skeptical thought, and accept his theories on faith.
      @QuantumFieldAgentLeMan There is no evidence ever accepted by science that magic, or the supernatural comports with reality. Carl Jung was practicing magic, not science, with his supernatural musings.
