I'm glad it aired when it did, even if that meant it was on way shorter than it should have been. If they'd done it today it would probably be a lot edgier and more cynical, and that would've ruined it.
The writer's strike of 2008 shorted the first season, which killed the momentum for the series, which brought down the ratings, which led to its cancellation. At least ABC was kind enough to let the series end with a resolution, rather than a cliffhanger.
And I would have watched them all!!! I LOVED this show, & still watch it when I get a chance. It is a cut above the rest in every way - creative writing, casting, acting, cinematography, etc.
This show should NEVER have been cancelled😭😭 if it had been released today on netflix im sure it would have run for 10 seasons atleast

Yes he ( Lee Pace ) was Ned The Piemaker from 2007/2009 before he was Ronan The Accuser.
Lee Pace was also Thranduil, King of the Woodland Realm, in The Hobbit trilogy.
He has been in a lot of very different things. Really talented.
Watched it in german. The voices are so different besides of Olive. I love this scene anyway.
