Thanks Dave for helping to keep Kyle busy and entertaining us.
I know what you are saying, but I will say this, if you bought it's yours to do with what you please. All the haters can hate, but like you said, it's yours to cut up if you want!
Thank you Dave, that was extremely generous of you!! Best to you Kyle, love your channel! Those tires are too cool, what a find!!
Thank you Dave for helping Kyle weld his chickens in the Pontilet
"Dave's not here, man"
@@chrishouse5753 “No man, I’m Dave!”
Someone out here help Kyle get this channel monetized, some merch and whatnot to find him.
He’s a great great asset to the car community.
i want merch like a burnt shirt lol and im sure others would buy to
or big bird giving the finger shirt ha
Finally another coat fire. I was beginning to worry.
Its been a while since a classical music montage too.
Coat fires and classical music montage, both staples of the Carter hairstyling channel.
I don't know what's more relatable, the first few seconds of the video that show what a mess sanding paint makes in your garage, or the fact that you had to change the wheels on your parts car just because you couldn't stand looking at it.
i sure hope the fella with the 98 grand prix got his missing rims back
GM finally figured out how to make to make the bling last when they made those rims. So many earlier wheels just had the chrome flake off as soon as they saw a bit of winter.
I, for one, don't mind seeing how you fix the door (the garbage one that funds the tire purchase). It's the quality of work you do and the valuable tips and instruction that I appreciate.
Thanks, I'll try to film some of the door project!
Lol I'm so glad we're on the same page about those wheels.
Bad Chad hacks em up & they love him. Do it.
Thanks to Dave!! We should all chip in and get Kyle a leather welding apron so he stops setting his jacket on fire🤓. Thanks Kyle for the update!!
This is going to be very interesting how you turn that 53 into a truck bed ,
THANKS DAVE 😁
Nice to see you have more than one jacket Kyle at your "disposal"... I would hate to see everything you wear go up in smoke!😆
Can't wait until you section that Pontiac see how it works on the chicken truck
THANKS DAVE!!!
1964 Impala passenger door looks to be just a little bend. I'm also guessing the doors are going to be used on a 1963 judging by the 'note' to fill to top side molding holes.
I think it's going on a 64, but the owner wants to run Biscayne side trim to offend the Impala guys haha
if i remember correctly, the dream truck used that same front suspension setup. I was going to suggest that when you got to that point but you beat me to it.
Dad and Dave are extreme enablers…it is time to advise Kyle that extending his arms out will help keep the net off him when the white coats come to visit. 🤪
Love the new heated jacket
Thanks Dave!! Cheers! 😎🛻🏁🏁👋🐔
Great deal on the tires. I would have jumped on that deal as well. Love the build. Hope your always able to put those coat fires out.
Thanks Dave.
Hey
Thanks, Dave......
We all appreciate you helping project along....
Kyle, keep it up. We love the chicken truck project.....
Thanks, Dave.
Thanks Dave, your alright!
Thanks Dave for the rods,
Going to look great with those lines on the rear Kyle
And those tyres 👍👍
Glad you CAT scanned those tires.
When I read your comment, I heard it in Jonathan's voice.
thank you dave
That car is a ripper! As in riper up. looking forward to seeing it chaange.
Thanks Dave , Kyle needs all the help he can get to do the job right… no more sub standard tig work 👍
You are really on fire about those tires.
Again, love the classic music
Thanks Dave..Best Regards
Cheers Dave - legend! Keeping the Chicken Truck moving and it looks like there is some more great content on the way!
You have put together yet another snappy video with several plot twists that had me wondering where all of this was headed. It's about time you got a little character in those brand new, store bought city clothes I was beginning to think you had gone all Hollywood on us. Keep up the good work. Thanks Dave that was a very thoughtful gift that Kyle can put to good use.
Thanks Dave for helping Kyle to move this project forward. The tires were a great find and a fantastic deal as far as the cost, when you find a deal on something you want or need you just have to jump on it. Looks like you got some good movement on getting some of the things you need rounded up. they will be there waiting for you to need them and you won’t have to search for them later. Can’t wait for you to get back into working on the hood and where ever you are going to move to next, have a great week and we all will be waiting for your next video to drop. Later
Thanks Dave
Thanks Dave!
Kyle, that Pontiac will live on in the glory of the cool chicken truck. Naysayers can just: don’t go away mad just go away! Keep up the goodness you impart on us the humble viewer.
White walls are required. The Gangster Gods would approve. 💯
I do like ur open mind. Chope AND channeling always rules ...especially with ur inborn talents. respect blooming.
Thanks Dave!
Huge score on the tires!! I am really looking forward to that front suspension, just as I know you have to be. Lol
There's a carcass of a 49 Chieftan in the woods behind my house. It's a warm winter day in NY, so the dog and I went outside and paid it a visit. Always tempted to try and haul the straight-8 engine home. Pre-muscle car Pontiacs don't get a lot of attention but I think they're pretty rad.
There's something beautiful and exotic about 8 cylinders in a long row.
Your Father is contributing to the delinquency of a car cutting, smoldering jacket, weld mongering, bondo minimalist child 👍👍
Thank you Dave!
Love the donor car getting really excited about the project!
Thanks Dave for sending the welding rods👍🏽 every helping hands count!
Thanks again Dave.
Thanks!
Thanks! Very kind of you to help out!
You are the man! Love your stuff and if I can help out a young feller like you it makes me happy.
You are quite humble and I feel most worthy of any help you receive. You have done me a ton of knowledge for which you must know is always a charitable and nice thing. I can't say thank you enough nor send money.
Thank you for changing those wheels! Keep up the good work.
Thankyou Dave for sending Kyle that welding rod.
Dave, you're only encouraging this madness.
Thanks.
Another episode on fire,, ❤🔥😎❤🔥
Thank you ever so much Mr Car Restyling Magician,, ❣🙏❣
Way to throw your Dad under the bus!!!! 🤣🤣🤣
The "Liberace" custom wheels were well worth the purchase. I would never be able to afford those. Nice find!
Nice, good choice, a Pontiac !, i understand it all, you don't have to explain, your pickup will be awsome!
Excellent finds Kyle. I expect that if you sell the parts of the Pontiac that you don't need you will get most if not all of the money back that the car cost you. And the tyres look like a great buy. I can see that it must be frustrating to take on jobs for people to bring in money, but that's just life. If it was easy to make a living from youtube just doing all the things we love to do we would all be putting content up. Best wishes.
Thanks George!
Thanks Dave, it's always good to hear Kyle sound happy.
Hi Dave thank you for explaining what you’re going to use from the donor car. I really don’t know much about building a car or truck. Your explanations were completely clear, and if people don’t understand why you purchased the tires, well that’s unfortunate for them.
People shouldn’t bitch and just sit back and enjoy your work.
I like and look forward to your next video.😊
You cant save them all, but you do good.
Love your vision. I'm looking forward to seeing this evolve!
I like the content of this build. Old school custom. 😊
I like that you finish projects, some providers jump from one job to another constantly. But the guys that have many projects on the go seem to have a ton of subscribers. So fixing those(63?) Doors is likely a good thing for you in more ways than one! The chicken truck is going to be a looking project, I think it's smart to take us along on the door repair 😊
Looong not looking
Never apologize for going after your vision! People bitching never built anything OR tried to find the cars they need.
That smoke and fire looked so real. You're going to have to do a master class on special effects.
... Buy-supply tires 😂
Looking forward to how you plan on turning that 53 Pontiac into the bed of the chicken truck, and those tires; what a deal!!! I agree, you have to grab a deal when it pops up.
Thank you Dave. That was a very cool of you to send Kyle something he could really use. Well done!
After listening to you talk about about all the parts that it needs, I have to agree with you cost too much to fix it
Keep up the good work!
Everytime I see your jacket on fire, it reminds me of cutting up scrap metal in my dad's scrap metal yard I would wear them insulated flannel jackets and they would always catch on fire one time I was cutting up a box car on the train track and I was on the bucket of a backhoe raised up to the top cutting and sure enough sparks caught it on fire and I was so used to it I just took it off still cutting and dropped it to the ground and when I got done they lowered me down and my jacket was ashes LOL I do enjoy things like that you show
Haha glad I could bring back some memories!
One could say you *sparked* a memory.
Just great. Our cats watched this, and now they want new tires too.
As always thanks for another , Brother ! Also thank you Dave for supporting the show !!
I am sitting here alone in my living room and several times I laughed out loud, I don't do that very often! Suggestion: you could salvage those rally rims by welding in oval patches--just a thought. I am diggin those wide whitewalls! I have faith in you man--you are gonna have the damnedest custom anywhere! Don't let the SOBs get to you! You are a man on a mission!
I'm glad to hear you got a laugh out of my nonsense! Thanks for watching!
It is great that there are still people that help each other when needed. Just keep on doing your own thing; I do not know about others, but you always "learn" me something.
Those tires are nice. Great find.
We got CKD Cheviacs outc of Canada all our US cars were out of Canada CKD, If you dont like seeing old cars modified watch something else, this build is great just keep going
❤ you made me smile laying around in the Hospital. Thanks Cheers. 😊
Hi Robert, I hope you get well soon! All the best from me and the cats
@@CarterAutoRestyling thanks I appreciate your wishes.
Thanks Dave!....... Kyle: when you are done slicing up that old four-door beater, that car body will be better then it was from day one off the showroom floor. Some things need to be sacrificed to the custom gods for the birth of a new idea to come to life. Cannot wait to see how this goes. I learn something every time I watch this channel.
Thanks to Dave for the gift to the channel. The car you bought Kyle is yours to do as you wish, and like you said, it was there for the taking and no one wanted it. Great find on the car and by the way, there is a man who takes Packard cars and makes pickup trucks out of them to save what he can out of them and make them usable again. Poo Poo on the haters, full steam ahead.
Great tires! And that door repair should be considered "Chicken truck adjacent" as it is financing the primary build. Buying that Pontiac (it's rare and no one cares) was brilliant 👌 the cash it will save/generate will go a long way to get the truck in good order! Hope you have a great weekend and looking forward to the next episode!
Thanks Charley! I hope you enjoy your weekend too!
Love the tires !
You do amazing work .
I can't wait to see what comes next .
Thank you 😊
Man, when Kyle bought those fancy white walls it was was like when Bob Vila and Norm Abram left This Old House; it descended into the Ikea show for yuppies.
thanks dave and i think most of us like watching you do any kind of metal work
It ain't got no floor in it!
Kyles take on 'it ain't got no gas in it' 😂
Thanks Dave--rod for the Rod!
The man of this week: DAVE!!
Good onya Dave for helping, best wishes from Australia
First off ... thanks Dave ... second ... that's a pretty cool little pontiac ... first thought is what a shame to cut it up ... but then there's that omlett - egg thing ... do what you gotta do ... great deal on those tires ... perfect score ... keep things movin ... another good video ...
The more you work on it, the better it looks !!!!!!!
Neighbors are like, oh cool Kyle got a Chicken Car now, Greeeaaaaaat. Hahaha
Finally some more fire.
the" Saskatchewan Boogie" sung by the the man "fly kyle"...with pyrotechnics...
The difference between you and a certain other well known Canadian builder is you'll take a bad car and make something good with it where he'll take a good car and make something bad out of it. Kudos to you
Because he’s bad…..
Cool update, Kyle!
Out East that would almost be show-car condition. It's in good hands now and will live a much more exciting life than it probably would have once crushed and recycled into a fridge or a Tesla.
$400 CDN for those tires? Wow! Smokin' deal. Oops. Wrong phrase to use with you.
And... "Thanks, Dave"!
It looks like the cats are ok with you storing the tires in their house. For now anyway.
Have a good week.
And I always thought the warm gulfstream waters that hugged Nova Scotia were kind to cars and salt was only added to the roads to attract the moose!😉
@@glennnickerson8325Shoot! Now you know are real secret. I will have to "take care of you".
That or I can sell you some prime land here. It's not a swamp. Honest.
I don't know Joe, I've heard Tesla's can be pretty exciting when they spontaneously combust. Now that I think of it I'd better send all my oldies to the baler and buy a Tesla...it's the only way I'll be able to keep my pyrotechnics department happy.
Wow. I never thought of the pyro from one of those 'Lektrik things.
Man.. if it comes to that I'm sure many of us would contribute a coat for the glory of it all.
Stay the course. Please.
Get your freak on dude 🤣you crack me up
Nice 👍 work finding those tires!
Your vehicle you do whatever you feel is right.
Dave, you’re an enabler. But in a good way. And keeping with that Disney glove box theme, “Minnie” thanks to you Dave.
Thanks Dave!!!👍.... big score on tires.😎✌
