Just a tidbit for you in regard to that model t with the skis. I live in N.H. and they were made in W. Ossipee, N.H. by Virgil White. He had a Ford dealership there. They used to have a reunion on that same property and people would trailer them there and drive them around. The signs coming into town read "Entering Ossipee Home Of The First Snowmobile". Just thought you'd like to know. And that Cloud Museum is way cool. Thank you for sharing that.
Very special and amazing museum well worth the trip. I talked to Jonny Cloud himself the owner of this Beautiful place, really cool guy he will gladly answer any question you have. Jonny said his collection has over 200 cars and trucks and it's still growing, and if you notice all his vehicles have headlights and tires on them. But get this---they all have motors and transmissions too and they all will run and drive, he told me he drove every one of his vehicles into the yard. I was very impressed I had a smile the whole time I was there I'm so Glad I made the trip to this place. I will be back.
Cool place! Very well thought out and organized. I like how they took the time to make stands for all the cars to sit on to help preserve the tires. That alone was a huge amount of work if you figure 4 stands per car! They look like old phone poles.
I had never heard of Winterhaven. I had to share this with my dad, as he is a huge vintage car buff. We are scheduling a trip for just agter the first of the year. Thanks for sharing, truly an incredible find!
Wow that was such a cool experience . Ya gotta love the styling of those old girls . What a blast. And awesome of Mr Cloud to preserve such amazing history.
Every single one of those have a story and the fact they all end up there is actually really cool!!! Thank you Charlie cloud for preserving our history!!!!!
Hi there, Trooper! Want to commend you for this amazing & historical vintage video, which to me is the greatest one of your videos that I have viewed so far!! I hope you go back for a more in-depth explore very soon. Enjoy the old Gas Pumps with the cheap prices for fuel! In the 1950’s here in Texas, our gas was as cheap as 18 cents per gallon and candy bars & soda pops were only 5 & 10 cents each! “Miss the good old days, somewhat?” Keep the Adventure!!
Johnny Cloud is a Super Collector. He must have started when he was a child. What a cool place. I love the old cars. When I got my license, gas was 27 cents per gallon. That was mid '60s in the Midwest. Fun video. Thank you William.☮💖🎵
The reason the Packard wood looked like new was because that's painted metal, not wood.Maytag washers were popular in rural parts of the country, city folk had electric ones . I have a can of wheel spoke tightener, liquid that would expand the wooden spokes to make them tight again. And the engines on the ground are referred to as "hit and miss engins" great vid as usual!
In 1970 minimum wage was $1 per hour. The time you have to work to pay for a gallon of gas has remained relatively the same, except for market fluctuations.
You are so right. The folks in California must be just having sex with the state and the oil companies. I was just there for 9 weeks and paid somewhere between $5.00 and $6.00 a gallon.
What a huge part of American history sitting there. I bet Johnny Cloud is a real interesting man to talk to also. Cool video! If I ever visit California (which more than likely I won’t) I would definitely stop in that place.
I was wondering about that also. A lot of history there just rusting away. Great collection of some rare models but not sure why you would just let them sit there and rot. Some collectors would love to do something with them.
From Colombia. The old saying was “see Venice and then die”, now we all say “ SEE MR JHONNY CLOUD MUSEUM” and then you are the happiest person in the world. Winter haven ,California , I get to remember that place.thank you sir.
This is awesome. There is a small place in my town that restore vintage. Stuff I have never seen before. ❤❤❤ Thanks for sharing! My mom rolled my arm up in one of those washing machines. 😮😮 😮😮
My late Grandfather would eat this up like crazy, he was a very avid antique collector, he actually had in his large property was a sort of a western town, actual old log cabins and old wooden structures like a general merc, a bank, the town jail and a plethora of wagons and antique farm machinery, before he passed away he sold his entire collection to a tourist attraction outside of Zion National park in a town called Springdale Ut. but if I venture down to Winterhaven Cali, I need to check this out because I love old vintage stuff like this.
There is a lot of money tied up in antiques here! I was within 10 miles of this place in May 2023, but didn't know it was there. Amazing to say the least!
What a fantastic museum, kudos to Mr Cloud, and your good self for this video. This reminds me of my grandfather's workshop, I never new him but spent many hours exploring in his shed, he was an automotive engineer in the early 1900s.👍
What a collection of barn finds. I wish him the best. I had decades of vintage machine tools. Some from Germany and England. Some as heavy as 23,000 pounds. After a falling out and law suit with my brother, many of these machine tools were scrapped. It’s sad when all of our industrial activity of the last 100 years is now in these private museums.
Nice to know of this place. My brother lives near the Salton Sea and that's not too far! I will plan to visit this museum soon when I stop at my brother's.😊
It is a beautiful collection of restorable vehicles.Seems most have been found in dry places and are definitely salvageable. Many interesting projects for restoration.
What an absolute gold mine for old car & antique lovers.
Well done. No loud and annoying background music, to the point and over all......a really enjoyable tour through the Cloud museum with you.
I like that all the vehicles are raised up, supported by their frames, so the tires can hang freely and not flatten out and rot.

God bless this man for preserving these cars!!!
@@evasanz3466he's done an excellent job of rescuing a lot of these cars, he's got them off the ground in a dry climate.
God blesses people for the strangest trivial reasons
Great museum, I showed it to my father who is 94 and it brought a lot of great memories back!
I have been to Mr. Cloud's Museum before and I agree...it is AWESOME!!! Thanks for showing this!
This is a gem of a museum heading there in a couple weeks for a second visit! I love this place!
Known about Mr. Clouds museum for years, but haven't been there, maybe this winter.
Ok, but don't go there a 3rd time
I had never heard of Winterhaven. I had to share this with my dad, as he is a huge vintage car buff. We are scheduling a trip for just agter the first of the year. Thanks for sharing, truly an incredible find!

Gas in 1970 was 27 cents a gallon, adjusted for inflation it should be $2.13 now. We've been ripped off for years.
In 1970 minimum wage was $1 per hour. The time you have to work to pay for a gallon of gas has remained relatively the same, except for market fluctuations.
Yeah ripped off since about the time of the oil crisis?🤷♂️
You are so right. The folks in California must be just having sex with the state and the oil companies. I was just there for 9 weeks and paid somewhere between $5.00 and $6.00 a gallon.
😅
Gas was 19 cents a gallon in 1970.
This is an awesome collection and speaks wonders of the people behind this collection and to Mr. Cloud with a vision and passion few have ever seen
What an amazing collection, such amazing craftsmanship! Back when things were made to last, quite unlike things today!
Could spend a few days there 👏👏 man I love this kind of vid.
That climate...absolutely phenominal!!
What a huge part of American history sitting there. I bet Johnny Cloud is a real interesting man to talk to also. Cool video! If I ever visit California (which more than likely I won’t) I would definitely stop in that place.
That collection is incredible! It’s a shame they’re just left to rot. I’m glaď someone cared and bought a bunch. À lot càn be saved.
I was wondering about that also. A lot of history there just rusting away. Great collection of some rare models but not sure why you would just let them sit there and rot. Some collectors would love to do something with them.
Cool Factor is off the charts on these!! Wow!

So glad I have seen this, great engineering standing the test of time. Thanks for sharing.
Awesome….thank you and Mr Cloud for sharing this video!
That was a cool tour!! When you go back, do a walk around of that wrecker, 0:57 , those old truck looks so tough !!
I always think of the millions of wonderful old cars that were hauled off to be scrapped with their original paint still on them...
sad but true 😮
World War II took a lot of them in the metal drives.
Amazing collection..
I love vintage cars..👍

In 1970, I purchased premium gas @ 0.19 cents flat per gallon in L.A. Calif.. It was almost the cheapest gas I ever bought.
Same here 19¢ per gallon.. that was rare though.. soon after came the Gas Wars 👍😎✊
Holy Cow Great Video! Thanks for posting, I would love to visit!
Another great video! Thank you.
So Amazing. Wish they were all under a roof of some sort.
Very cool place.
Wow what a collection, hard to believe in this day and age, I hope no rat rodders or the likes get their hands on any of them.
Wow, what a amazing collection.
Just the thought of using that washing machine😮
put a roof over all cars.
Fund it
He should auction them off to restorers, a shame they will all be “reclaimed” by Mother Earth out in the elements.
😂 back then they were made to last😂.. they can take the neglect.😂
Good coverage. I visited there several years ago.
Thank you both for taking our enjoyment and appreciation of these masterpieces to a whole new level!
Incredible collections of vintage machines
Nice to know of this place. My brother lives near the Salton Sea and that's not too far! I will plan to visit this museum soon when I stop at my brother's.😊

Nice to see them up on blocks.
For those who don't know, Winterhaven, CA is a small agricultural town at the southwest border of CA and AZ off of I8. Much of it is reservation land.
Hi i'm a german Car Mechanic near Berlin, these machines are sooo beautiful thank you!!!
Great video, I love those old cars and trucks. By the way what you called convertibles are really called roadsters. Or sometimes drop tops.
Beautifull vintage cars
Greetings from Allende NL Mexico
Already blown away by the vehicles, I am even more shocked at the tires on every, single vehicle!
