I keep coming back to this channel just for the peaceful feeling. Robert is a true Canadian treasure. Such a joy for life. We need more Awesome Awesome and less politicians
I, for one, admire your ability to make things work instead of just throwing them out in the woods to rot away. There are those that seem foolish and those that open their mouth and erase all doubt. Don’t let them discourage you Robert. I enjoy your videos a great deal, mostly because it’s you. Your experiences, and difficulties, and how you handle them are what makes your channel better than the others. I am glad you had the resources to get Bertha back on the trail. I am sure you will come up with something to remedy the camera issue. I am sure producing videos is difficult even when things are working well. I look forward to your videos and look forward to going along on your trapline full traps or not! If you didn’t make bannock once in a while I would think you were not genuine but instead just putting on a show. I have no idea what you would need for a camera, what parts you would need for Bertha, or for your new computer for that matter. I hope the computer is coming together for you at least. I would guess some one might have a camera they could donate if they knew what you needed. Hope your traps are full tomorrow! Keep your chin up! Or we’ll have to put a chin stick in your trail like you do on your trap line!
Sounds like if you boil your raisins that you could use the liquid in your bannock also to give that might eliminate the added sugar. Thanks for sharing your video with us. You ROCK!
Robert you will percervere You are a testimony to hard work and diligence. A trait that haiters will never have STAY HAPPY YOU WILL GET BERTHA GOING AGAIN WE WILL PITCH IN IF YOU NEED A LITTLE HELP!!
Yess, I was just thinking of getting a recipe and I wake up to you doing bannok. Kukkom always made for us, now she has passed and we haven't had bannok wrapped hot dogs since. When I use raisins in a recipe, if I have the time, I soak them for 24 hrs. I really like the hot water trick, sounds like it will work well, hopefully faster. Gonna enjoy bannok today thanks😁
Your bannok looked delicious Robert. I sure hope you get Bertha running good, I have a feeling you will have some fur tomorrow, so you need her running good for you. PEACE
Can you fix your camera, or will you need to get another one? My mother-in-law made eccles cakes with currents. They are a similar recipe but she cuts them out of rolled out dough, and add currants, and fries the little disks. When I make it I get impatient waiting for them to brown in the frypan.
