Moving back to my home town after 20 yrs just about, miss the bush life. The memories are beautiful felt free in the bush I want that feeling back. After spending so much time away I have to learn everything again you're a great help. Thank you merci in your language and tinagey in my language.
Great recipe, easy to understand and you've got a pleasant demeanor! My batch turned out amazing, family loved it and were surprised I baked them, lol!
Well I'm off to the fridge to make some toast close my eyes and imagine I'm in the wilderness eating your delicious looking bread.....wait forget the toast I'm gona try this and see if I can do it....thanks for the recipe.
My recipe is similar, I add a bit of powder milk to it as well. I fry it up in the grease left over from frying some smoked pork jowl. Very tasty. Thanks for sharing.
I have the same little burner it doesn't work all that good either, just like yours it's cooked a lpot of yummy food, I could smell that bannick cooking.
After watching, the next day I made Bannock using your recipe, but living alone I cut it in half and fried them in Lard. they were good. Here in the southern Appalachian Mts. we make Hoecakes, recipe's Identical except we use cornmeal instead of flour.

Like my grandpa's skillet bread but with more grease and sugar.
I have been watching your videos for a long time watching you make bannic and tell myself I want to make it well tomorrow I'm going to make some
Mom called them dough God's! She'd either roll them in powdered sugar or cinnamon and regular sugar!!! Now I'm drooling!!!
Just like my mom and grandma used to make - except they never called it bannock, they called it “fry bread”
I have the same little burner it doesn't work all that good either, just like yours it's cooked a lpot of yummy food, I could smell that bannick cooking.
Thanks for the video Robert, you could sprinkle cinnamon and sugar on the bannock.
