A gang is business, any top level members of corporations, politicians, LEOs, all could easily be described as a gang. However the difference is that they are part of the system so their gangs aren't gangs but "enterprises".

Motorcycle gangs started after the second world war in the early 50's. When soldiers who rode bikes during the war required their own when they got back to the States. Disillusioned from the war and addicted to alcohol and drugs they banned together to intimidate police and the public. Slowly but surely they got heavily involved with drugs, burglaries and stealing vehicles/trucks. By the time Woodstock rolled around they had formed chapters all over the country. 70 years of history and 4 generations later, still a thriving organisation.
Educates yourself less than 2% of MC even have any arrest record and are combat veterans of our military! Just because LE calls them organized crime doesn’t mean they are! The blue line gang commit more crimes every year than MC’s
I was in a dyslexic bike gang called Hells Angles. We were essentially a bunch of maths students .. we'd stay up late , never did what our mums told us, play hooky from school, break wind in class. Our reign of terror ended when a letter arrived at home from the head teacher. I miss my time with the Angles😢

It's sad that it started as a place for veterans to feel like they had somewhere to belong after coming home from hell and not being able to fit into every day normal society without feeling lost anyway then through the years they've twisted it into a criminal empire of criminal thugs!
The government would not give them the benefits they were promised after coming home from war. I can imagine how they felt after surviving hell. That's one of the reasons HA was founded.

Here in the UK during the 70s one of my uncles used to have a bikers gang visit him. Once one of them tried to get me and my cousin to fight each other but we ignored him. I was a young child and that was my first experience of biker gangs and I can't say that I was impressed. My uncle had a lot of guns and pot as well as a large collection of WW2 memorabilia including Waffen SS daggers and some of the biggest Kriegsmarine binoculars that I have ever seen. You name it and he had it he also had a ton of musical gear. I remember once he showed me some weapons, he used to like showing me his guns and other things that he had including a bike chain, a knuckle duster and a ring with a spike on it. My uncle said that if you punched someone in the face with the ring on you can pull down and rip their face open. My uncle had a big influence on me as I became very interested in music and military history. I started to play the guitar and came to know more about military weapons and history than a lot of so called experts. I've never considered biker gangs who engage in criminal activity to be very smart. I mean riding a loud bike with a patch on your back is hardly a smart thing if criminal activity is your business.
You are also very unqualified to speak on how smart they are when you only met a few in the 70's. See smart people would try and find out the truth instead of judging thousands of people by the encounter you had as a child.
@@NubsWithGuns What qualifications do I need? Where have I said that my interaction as a child was my only interaction with a biker gang or former gang members? I was in Iraq from 2006 through 2007. What I noticed with some guys after they came home was a false-bravado type mentality. Bikers are no different. They are fools thinking they are bad a@@, but one day, a knock will come to their door and it will be too late.
It's cool to hear this. Here in Canada, guns were everywhere around that time. I was born in '70 & in eastern Canada, I as a 12yr old would ride around on my BMX with my .22 rifle over my back, and I'd get shells down at my local Home Hardware. I owned a shotgun too, and I was in an almost-city, not in open country. My father had a pistol, and my grandfather would lend us the German Luger his brother took from a nazi he killed in France. I'd just ride up on my bike, park it outside (no lock!), walk in and bought 50 rounds of 9mm. I remember it was $12. My father didn't even have to be with me. I recall we just got the Metric system around that time. Anyway, guns everywhere. Then legislation came & guns were confiscated everywhere (though I have access to a pistol & ammo in a dire emergency, it's prison if you get caught, hence the "dire"). Gun restrictions worked really well, actually - laws are very strict, very rare to have mass shootings here (though there are certainly exceptions).
My aunt grew up next door to one of the Hell's Angels MC in Omaha. She said she hated it when they would lose their ball over the fence and onto their property because no one was going over to get it! 😆

I knew a guy after high school who joined the Hell’s Angels. At the time I knew him he was the local drug dealer in our small town but not a bad guy. When your young it’s “cool”. Now we’re in our 40’s though and I know he’s a “lifer”. Sad waste of a life. Sure he has money but…that’s ALL he has. He’s completely empty otherwise and will never grow as a human being. It kills his mother every day.
Original members of the Hells Angels were veterans of D-Day and many other important battles so these guys were dealing with issues like PTSD and even more debilitating symptoms of psychological problems from being a soldier who served during WW2 . Many of these issues weren't fully understood at that time. When these guys came home they had trouble interacting with people, even family and friends. They desired freedom and the solidarity between comrades. That's why the Hells Angels were formed, now a days veterans have better support and medical staff have better understanding of the issues experienced by men and women who come back from the war. Hells Angels were originally ex soldiers wanting nothing more than being left alone no more orders no more killing, they missed the company of their brothers in arms, a closeness hard to find in 'civvy street'
Not true, really. Sonny Badger was born in 1938, so he was 6 years old at the D-Day, Otto Friedli, apparently HA founder, was 13. Both were thrown out from the Army, with no battles. The PTSD and troubled war veterans is a myth. They were criminals or criminal wannabes and the were formed as a criminal gang from the start.
Beautifully written. Thank you for the respect of the original principles behind the club. ❤❤❤ It’s very important to spread awareness and not all the negative stuff. Just like the police force, and any other group, there will be some sickos. But it doesn’t negate the original purpose and sentiments and the camaraderie of the club!!

I have always and will always look at people like this as utter jokes. They're in gangs either to make money dishonestly, or simply because they need a sense of belonging and people on their side if shit goes sideways. It's a cowardly lifestyle, no matter how anyone spins it.
A friend of mine worked on the anti-bike-gang unit in RCMP. He said there's a bunch of undercover guys in with them in Canada but he doesn't know about anything in the US, but assumes so. The kind of running joke about these guys is they catch themselves. They're so loud & rowdy & obvious. There are lots of clever guys in the gang & they do use more tech than you'd think - but surveillance, both video & audio, is a world ahead of them. It's kind of like the movies, in that the authorities know most of their movements, it's being relevant that puts them mostly at risk. The lifestyle is almost dead now - 99% of these guys make less than the average tradesman & the legalization of marijuana in Canada really is taking its toll. That's why they're relying on meth & fentanyl & pimping. They can only move a certain amount of coke, since that trade is run by Russians, who are virtually impenetrable & believe it or not, Italians out of Montreal who rely on Russians a lot. With the nationalized gangs, there's a certain amount of respect, but Russians, north of Mexico, are the big importers. Chinese do that too, but it's mostly transport & their distributors actually buy their product from the Russians since if they get caught, the Chinese gov't will remove them from this mortal coil. What's more, bikers of any cut are almost guaranteed they'll end up in prison. One thing he told me stuck out more than anything though - bikers CONSTANTLY snitch on each other, worse than any other organized criminals. Yes, most of Hells Angels are very tough customers. There are some giant, hyper-angry men who are evil, scary and it'd take more than a mag of 9mm to stop them. Some are pathetic, addicted old men. Most of them snitch, though, when faced with prison & the filthy cuts they wear mean nothing when you're looking at 20yrs. They're not "outlaws" per se, since most of them have insurance & registration & have to obey their no-contact orders thanks to surveillance & tech. I remember venting to my friend about how people stand up for H.A. when they do public hand-outs of gifts for children's hospitals & orphanages. They'll roar into town, buy thousands of dollars worth of little pink bicycles & toys & make public donations. There are some people fickle enough to fall for this "we're just misunderstood gentle giants" act. They'll sometimes even do the world a favor by rubbing out some child abuser - and they'll lift gullible people's kids onto their bikes & let them take pics, it's a big show. Then they'll turn around & pump meth & fentanyl into the same communities these kids grow up in, happy to pimp out the little girls who develop pretty enough. They'll complain about their 1st amendment rights (or in Canada, their Charter Rights) about wearing their patches visibly - and people will gullibly champion their stance. If you wanted to fly your own club's colors in their turf, though, they'll warn you twice & there is no 3rd. "Rights for me but not for thee" scenario. Once people realize you don't have to be loud & obnoxious to be tough, that tats & a noisy bike don't make you a man, this lifestyle can finally fade out. Freud would salivate at the diagnoses of pretty well every bike gang member. They're screaming "you can't hurt me". They were abused, likely humiliated, and their response is anger, disassociation, depression, sociopathic tendencies & self-masochistic loneliness. They seek or seek to be, a father figure. Pounding their chest. It goes from 'poor me' to 'manifest destiny', but it always ends up at "you can't hurt me" and prison. It's a miserable, horrible existence.
That’s a great way to sum it up! The part about snitching is so true, I’ve read and watched so many biker stories and they do seem pretty fast to roll over on their “brothers” lol
Your story is true except what you say about bikers and HA. I’ve never had any problems with them and find them honorable. They helped keep the streets safe from Mexican street gangs in Ocean Beach San Diego. You don’t know any HA I can tell.
@@robertchiarizia9463 They rape & pimp out teenage girls, pump meth & fentanyl that they actually bought from Mexican cartels & gangs, and they turn on each other constantly. Fighting over who gets to sell meth in what neighborhood isn't honorable & to genuflect at their authority because they're occasionally friendly is pretty naïve. It's simply not their turf. It belongs to the people who live there, who vote for their leaders. I met one H.A. once while speaking with George Chuvalo in a pub with my boss in Toronto. He walked in with a woman & said to the barkeep "you mind if my bitch takes a piss?". He shook George's hand hello & when he left, George said "I hate those MFs, they sold the dope that killed my boys". There isn't a H.A. alive who could take George in a fight, so I was nervous af that it'd get tense. H.A. aren't here to give you your streets back or make things better in any way. They're just doing it in English.
@@robertchiarizia9463 "They weren't a problem for me so they must not be a problem for anybody" is not sound logic. Even though I met plenty of really great, honourable, kind and intelligent Sons who were all about brotherhood and simply riding together, there were still devious shitbirds who were out to cause the most amount of chaos possible just to instill fear in people who they deem less than them. People who cared more about status than about integrity. Same goes for people in the Hells Angels. There are good ones, I'm sure, but I guarantee they are all already dead or nearing the ends of their lives and have to acknowledge that what started as a dream has devolved into a nightmare for many. There is no integrity among the younger generation in these clubs anymore. It's all just a bunch of white trash gang bangers with mommy and daddy issues trying to play big tough guy to make up for the void in their souls.

@ All kidding aside, I met quite a few hardcore bikers about 40 years ago and they were some of the friendliest guys I ever met. I worked at a Shell gas station in the Mojave Desert while I was in high school around 1982. This was back before the days of digital gas pumps and “pay before you fill”. About 50 of these bikers stopped in one evening about 10:00pm for gas and scared the bejeepers out of me. They could have easily filled all their motorcycles and rode away without paying, and there would have been nothing I could do. They all filled up, paid for their gas and hung out for a few. They were on the Laughlin River Run, and the gas station was the last leg of their long journey. What was interesting was that they all used the bathroom to wash up in the sink. I expected that I would have a hell of a mess to clean up. When they were done, one of them left it hospital clean. It was impressive. Hard to imagine the bozos in this video are from the same bunch.
It's always those type of dudes with tattoos covering almost their entire head and neck that commit violent crimes. And people say you shouldn't judge a book by its cover 🤣...well you certainly can judge a book by its cover with this guy.
How about that black couple that just burned their 5 year old daughter alive because they were sick of caring for her.. yeah honey there are plenty of demons here
Watched it up til 3:50 before realizing the title “life sentence” was a click bait. Got me to watch almost 4 minutes and make a comment. Good job Champ
I have known a couple of hardcore bikers who were one percenters in the Chicago Outlaws and this is not just what these people do as a hobby; it is a lifestyle and who they are; literally their entire identity. There is no way any of these guys could make the transition into a straight lifestyle and that's why they usually remain gang members for life. Or maybe you think one of these guys could just quit the gang and get a job selling insurance even though he is covered in tattoos? Many members even have tattoos on their face, neck, head, and hands which make it impossible to cover them up and that isn't the best look for a job interview. And it's doubtful any of these bikers are going to make it to old age with the amount of booze, cigarettes, and drugs they consume as well as the violence they engage in.
Yeah, that caught me off guard too. Which is why the part of the video about Maurice and the Lennoxville massacre confused me. In any gang or mob, you have to get the OK from higher ups, before you can kill another member. Most of the time.
I would assume "prospects" are not on the same level as "members." In order to become a "member," the prospect has to earn the trust of the chapter. Given the alleged reputation of HA for protecting their identity (read as: they do not take kindly to wannabes, posers, or non-allied "clubs"), I would venture a guess that's actually the appeal. There's a certain notoriety that comes with being a part of something like that and some people choose violence as a way of life. So, the "killing of prospects" isn't the same as going after members, and both likely have to do with the loss of trust. In other words, I would think, it serves as a deterrent and reminder that being a part of such things requires extreme commitment. It's not a joke. Some people apparently like that.
I've since watched a few more videos that explain the Lennoxville situation. Apparently a sub - chapter of the Hells Angels was getting high on their own drugs to a bad degree. And also not paying their "taxes" to the Angels. To the amount of 90K. So five of them got asked to a party and were killed. Pretty cold. But you should not mess around with them. @@JH-wd6dp

I grew up in a neighborhood that seemed relatively quiet and familial. My neighbors would paint stolen cars in their backyards in front of us, roll massive amounts of joints, no big deal with me... bu on... stolen school tables - that's just so disturbing, man. One of my neighbor turned out to be a neo-nazi. The police never came that I remember, not even once before the pandemic. The bloods are south and the crips are North, in Montreal city where I live in Rosemont petite-patrie in the middle. Hell Angels in Québec concentrate in the rural areas, but a restaurant that I was told by a homeless friend was taxed by them got resurrected after the pandemic as if nothing happened...! Biker gangs, mafia aren't loud. The bikers know to keep a low-profile in the city (unlike those shown here), but they're there. One of their businesses here is to steal construction license numbers (each company is issued a number sometimes per job) to carry corrupt contracts. I once had a massive bloke, tattoos all over who came to my job and said, "gimme a beer". I said "Alright but you need to eat too, we have a restaurant license only not a bar license" and he said "Gimme a half bagel then. Did you know I did the electricity here?" I also love how Sonny Barger, one of the founders of Hells Angels, said about Harley Davidsons. They only rode them because that's what was available. He said today, they'd likely have been riding Hondas, that Harleys were 'junk'. I get a kick out of that when you get guys posing in their outlaw costumes, with the noisy bikes. Dudes are probably dentists, but they get the ape-hangers, they wake toddlers from their naps 3 blocks away, they scowl, the creative facial hair is funny, and these days, rather than wearing ear buds, they blare music from their bikes. Almost everyone buys the same Harley now, and you hear some total pud riding around blaring "Pour Some Sugar on Me" from a speaker system coming from the bike, you can hurt yourself cringing.
To preface, my dad was a wild man before I was born When I was in my early teens me and my dad went into the mall for something but I can't remember what it was. On our way out my dad instantly recognized this old guy. It turns out he was a retired leader of the local 1 percenter club, who my dad had some less than ideal encounters with previously, such as my older half brother from my dads previous family stealing a car without knowing it belonged to one of the runners within the club. The leader confronted my dad and they both went to find him and the car. Once they caught up to my brother the leader opened the trunk, showed them what was in it and told them this will be the only time the club would let it slide without consequences. There was kind of an understanding that my brother was rebelling in every way he could, such as stealing my dads work truck and wrecking it in the woods while on a butt ton of acid. Anyways, this guy and my dad we're talking about the old days and he was saying he rides a BMW now but still has his old bike for club activities.

One thing I hate is when everyone seems so shocked when they don’t say anything or show any remorse at sentencing. Their lawyers are telling them to not say a thing or show emotion. If they apologize it will be used against them on appeal as will emotional outbursts. Plus, if they show sorrow it is seen as guilt and if they show nothing then they are cold hearted killers. They may be guilty but using the lack of talking or showing emotion against them is ridiculous and shows a lack of understanding of the system

I know several HA members & at their parties l never saw 1 fight. You show respect & get respect from all members. The notorious president in HA called Jønke, killed the president in the enemy biker gang. He took a plain to Canada and was hiding for 5yrs, before returning to Denmark. He received max penalty 16yrs for the murder. A real man. Both dangerous but also a great friend.
Suppose, that defy the definition of a gang! Gangs are supposed to be ominous, threatening, non conformists. It would be a much better world, though. Strange, how even gang members will claim, the world doesn't have enough LOVE, then go out and kill, commit crimes, make ppl lives miserable! Strange!
What other "gangs" are incorporated and pay taxes? It's not the entire organization it's individuals who make the decisions. One bad apple doesn't mean you throw out the whole bushel...
I’m surprised they shared the cctv footage. Thought that was against gangsters codes? Dude was stone cold in court when being sentenced, something tells me he’s put a few people in the dirt before.
The vast majority of hells angels aren't criminals or monsters. There are only a few bad apples but people like you assume it's a gang and that they're all criminals...
I for one will never ever trust anyone who is a part of a motorcycle gang/club. So often the gang/club is very nefarous in its deeds and you never know what could anger any of the psychos in the gang/club. Honestly have zero respect for the hells angels as they tend to be some of the worst of the worst. Kind of sad that it went from being a club made by vets to be a gang/club that loves to engage in dishonest activities and breaking the law with a high love of extreme acts of violence. Bet the vets who formed it would be ashamed of what it has become.
I'd trust them over someone that can't even put their picture on their social media. They show me exactly who they are at face value and only ask that I respect them if I want to be respected.
The fact that this literal criminal corporation is allowed to operate based on stupid bureaucratic stipulations and semantics is infuriating. There are mountains of evidence that prove they shouldn’t be allowed to operate and prove prolonged criminal activity by basically every chapter. Someone please explain why nothing gets done to stop these groups from existing.
That's due process... You're not convicted unless you commit a crime. It's an individual thing. That's like saying anyone who represents the Crips or Bloods should be imprisoned even though they haven't committed/been caught doing a crime "He wears blue, says he's a crip. That's enough, throw him in jail." "For what cime? Murder? Assault? Theft?" "No. We'll charge them with being apart of a gang." "And that charge is?" "..."

I grew up as the daughter of a Sons of Silence member for 45 years before his death.

Perfect response. Bet if some Hells Angels were after him he'd call 911. I'm retired from a large hospital pharmacy We discovered, pretty quickly, ketamine injection missing from our surgery area. Set up a camera. Busted a plant op guy who was a Motorcycle gang member the very next day. It was simple. We only hoped no kid got any and OD'd. These guys have no character. Dumb too.
A couple of these cracked me up. Joseph Lancia was the president of the Rhode Island chapter of the Hells Angels. The smallest state in the nation. What kind of honor is that? How many members were in the group, 5?
Then there was Jay Witt. Totally bad dude, probably had a nice Harley. Yet, he got busted while driving a stolen Chevy Impala. Imagine that, you are a high level biker dude but your legacy ends in a family sedan. That will be something to talk about in prison.
xD
Omg this is great you should do a standup show of just biker jokes lol

Outgrow ? 😂 oh man
@rjcxsh6037 yeah!!!!are they going to be 90 and still in a "gang"???? Its like they don't want to grow up ....... !!!!
Sounds like a bunch of 6th graders that never grew up
Notice how much of that was Hells Angel on Hells Angel Violence? So much for a brotherhood.
No one will accuse outlaw bikers of being intelligent...
You forgot to mention, drug running and prostitution rings!
It seems like most of these killings were Hell's Angels killing their own members. Why would you join a gang that kills so many of each other?
Yeah, that caught me off guard too. Which is why the part of the video about Maurice and the Lennoxville massacre confused me. In any gang or mob, you have to get the OK from higher ups, before you can kill another member. Most of the time.
I mean bikies have never been found guilty of being to smart
@@JH-wd6dp

That’s what I was thinking. People that join and never leave all end up just a bunch of angry man children. If you’re still trying to “fit in” and “be a cool thug” at 45 and 50…something went wrong. Grow up.

Did you know I did the electricity here?" They won't even tell you overtly who they are, but the people they want to know, know. He never came back. Thanks the heavens!

Hard to tell the police apart from the military . That can't be a good sign .
not if they're coming for you.
I guess what you mean is that you think that the police are not acting legally. The military take oath to uphold the Constitution and the military aren't idiots and they would never harm American citizens for no reason just because some politicians tell them to. I wouldn't be so hard on the police because they have a hard job and they know right from wrong and they try to do their best. I also love how Sonny Barger, one of the founders of Hells Angels, said about Harley Davidsons.
Brother you must be from my neighborhood because this is spot on lmaoo.
To preface, my dad was a wild man before I was born
When I was in my early teens me and my dad went into the mall for something but I can't remember what it was.
@@MegaJessejames91 It used to be about something different. But I don't get why anyone would want to be in a M.C. Surrounded by unwashed, dangerous men all day, and the noise those damned bikes make is disgusting. I get it, you want to be noticed on the road so cars can see you, but then out comes the teacup helmets. If they're so scared of riding bikes that they have to take the baffles out, maybe a safer mode of transport would help. What they don't care about when they roll into a small community is, the perspective of others. I don't care how badass they are, there's no reason to wake up children & terrify residents like that. When they pound their chests like that, it's graduated sulking, that's all it is. "You can't hurt me", over and over. Not. one terrifying reaction 😊
