It feels so nice to see the issues you ran into! I’ve never really sewn much before and bumping into problems with the bobbin or pinning felt so defeating because you don’t see them happening in more professional videos. Thanks, your video made it feel like what was happening was normal and okay!
I legit found your channel out of nowhere and legit I’m so confused about why you haven’t blown up yet 😭😭 legit you’re videos are so high quality and nice
Great job! I’ve ruined so many in trying to reshape tops etc. I see what your thought process was. So now, I think I can safely and with confidence move forward with redesigning some of my clothes. Thank you!
Thank you for posting this video I'm a guy with sweater that I bought seven years ago. I've lost it's on the way now the sweater is too big. Thanks to your video I now know what to do. A big thank you
Thank you so much for this video, I was low key about to just give my big sweaters away cuz I didn't know what to do, don't mind me just being simple-minded lol
Thank you!!! My man has some hoodies that are a little too small for him but way too big for me and I’m about to take them!!! Why buy something new when I have so much sitting in drawers
Absolutely brilliant! Reallly excited 2 years later that sleeves coming down over your hands are cool now as well! Have HEAPS of oversized sweaters collected over a few years as they generally so marked down ( my shopping method lol) Hey a couple of my best got naturally shrunk down to a felt effect, so still oversized but more shape in them. I love hiding inside an oversized sweater because once you work out how to get the pants and boots right you are so set and they are so cool! ( Its meant to look effortlessly cool but its actually not lol) Unfortunately buying online you cannot get the correct visual effect as yet. so then you have a fabric or a price you like but it just doesnt work with your body. Or the fabric is a bit light and you need shoulder pads or safety pins or.....you find your video! you are a huge talent and love the video! Might find a cheap mark down sewing machine! thankyou very much and keep up the kind and lovely work I hope!

You gave me courage to take in two sweaters (one wool, one acrylic). Going under the arms was the play. Thanks!
Glad it worked out!
BTW it had been so long since I threaded a bobbin, it took me three tries!
Keep at it, sewers. The machine is not your enemy.

Where’d you get your sweater? I love it😍
From Value Village! 😊 Thanks!
I’m gonna try this idea out! Love the aesthetic of your room btw, you should totally do a room tour!
Awesome good luck!! And thank you! Definitely want to do a room tour, but I have a few finishing touches I want to add! ☺️
70th subscriber! Great video keep it up!!
Wow! Amazing! Thank you for the video!😍👏
uuuuuh, that was a nice work¡ I like to redesign my clothes, so your video was a lot helpfull to me, Thanks-
Thank u for the video! What needle did you use for this?
I will try that on my sweater for sure
Hope it turns out!
Can you make the neck of the sweatshirt smaller which is round in shape?
Yes I did this by taking in the shoulders!
It should work the same for a round collar!
omg i love you thank you for the tutorial 😭😭😭
Thanks for sharing this!
Very clever
Did you go back and oversew the parts that you cut?
I didn't but you could definitely do a zig zag stitch over the edges to make it more secure, especially if your fabric is fraying!
Thanks for the video, really was to help, new subscriber
Thank you!!! Glad it was helpful 😊
What to do if you have an elastic separate border at the bottom
I'm not sure exactly what you mean by that? It's ok to sew over elastic if you need to
@@AlyciaThrifts elastic = stretchable cloth
Yes I understand what elastic is, I'm just not sure what you mean by "separate border at the bottom"!
What size needle did you use ?!
I believe I used a 75/11 needle! But depending on your fabric you may want to size up or down! 😊
Thank you
Quick question why is she making that grudge sound 😂
