For those who asking how many calories are burned during this workout. it rly depends on your weight, height and how active you are. As for me.. when I did it for the first time, I only burned 190 calories coz I skipped many routines (lol ngl it was hard) but it gets easier the second time, I burned around 230 calories and not skipping routines anymore (I also jog on the other days) 😁 Thanks Joanna for this low impact workout ❤❤ btw I'm 81kg and 156 cm and on day 20 of my weight loss journey!! I will update monthly here if I remember hahah
I've been doing this workout for about a week now. It is really helping me get off the couch. At the beginning of the week, I could only get halfway through. I've really been trying to eat clean and do this workout everyday, and now I can complete the ENTIRE workout. This is just the first step for me, so thank you for posting this video. You are truly helping people!!
I've been doing your workouts for years, but I have finally gotten into the habit of exercising regularly. I mix your strength training videos with running, but since I have been quarantining, I have been looking for other methods of cardio. I started my regular fitness journey a year ago, and I have lost about 38 pounds. I am much more confident and healthier than I used to be. Thank you for being a part of my journey. ❤️
Joanna, I can't thank you enough for this video! As an obese women, there are many workouts that I can't physically do right now. I REALLY appreciate this video as I could do almost all of the exercises. THANK YOU! Please do more!!

Hello Joanna, I am 68 in a few months and over the lock down I have been doing your workouts, they're great for me as I have weedy knees ! I have lost 4 kilos since starting and now have my waist back, so happy, still have much more to loose but I will as I enjoy the daily workouts. By the way, we have a mutual contact- Mike Todd, he is my son. Thank you Joanna, Marcelle Todd
I love how motivational you are in this video! You encouraging me to push myself almost every second really helped me a lot. It feels like I'm working out right beside you, so I didn't compromise any movements. 😇🙋♀️ (especially when you said you're not quitting because you know that you've got only 20 seconds left, and I was trying to take a break early 😂😂😂)
Previewing the moves I didn’t think it was possible to get a burn but dang girl I am def sweating and my heart rate is singing!! So glad I found this ❤️
Joanna, you are a legend. All your workouts are so simple, yet achievable and effective. It may be hard to do in the first or second time, but eventually I can catch up. I like the fact that you didn't waste any time but went straight into business, in a light hearted and encouraging manner. You are a blessing to us all, God bless!
I generally feel demotivated after I workout, and I stop my workouts in middle. In all your videos I feel like someone is actually working out along with me😅. I get motivated all along. Spreading positive vibes might be easy but being positive when body is burning physically is a challenge.
CandY Blossom I’m SO PROUD AND HAPPY for you. YOU did this for yourself and you deserve only the very best. Keep being an inspiration to those around you. 🤗
Great routine, not as hard as the one from yesterday (3 sets of exercises), but very good. Agree with the comments that say this is not easy on the knees, but I'm convinced that you can avoid knee surgery by doing daily exercises and losing weight and this is what I'm trying to do. A couple of years ago I couldn't squat and my knees were constantly hurting, so my doctor sent me to physio and now I can squat and I was able to do most of these exercises (no lunges or bear walk), and I'm going to go on with low impact routines, like this one. Thanks Joanna, you're marvelous!
Good workout. Does get your heart rate up and is low impact. If you have knee issues, just avoid the lunges by repeating the previous set of another exercise. Everyone has something they have to modify in most videos. My only recommendation would be to add a longer warm up and cool down, especially for less fit individuals.
Great work out Joanna! Thank you for your professionalism and your thoughtfulness towards older women! I’m 57 and I’m drenched! I couldn’t do all of it, but I’m gonna keep on working!

I always do high intensity jumping cardio lol it just feels good but because of all those jumps now i have calves pain so i'm trying to find without jumping this will work thank-you
Have to start at the beginning again because I injured my back and knee. Feels rubbish as I was at such a high level of fitness even 1hr of hiit was pretty simple for me. Give or take a few screams from quad burn. And now i am on the low impact. Difficult to not feel discouraged. But it is something and burning 100 cals is better than nowt. Thanks joanna

17 minutes of amazement. Am certainly gonna wake up on it tomorrow..., Sending love from SA, thank you for all your fitness inspirations, love every one of them 😍
It’s a question of habit. Do this workout and other workouts of Joanna and you will see progress. I can make 10 knee push ups now. Before it was none ... It’s via that way that you will measure your success : when you start doing things that you couldn’t do before. Consistency is key.
@@virginiemazy7054 Is this exercise enough to lose weight if i do it every single day with healthy food and calory deficit?🥺 My body is very resistant and lose weight slowly although i do workout nearly 5 days a week with healthy food 😔
@@esraaesraa5532 if you want to loose weight, you have to learn to be patient. Be aware that you want to loose fat, not water or muscles : it’s not after 5 days that you will see results.... it’s more a question of 3 months : your body needs to go and fetch the fat and use it. Of course if you have a calorie deficit and you eat healthy it’s the way to go and you will see results. So you need to continue. I’m not a doctor, dietetician or coach but here are a few attention points that came back regularly when I did some research about how to loose fat :-) 1) you need to eat healthy and be in a calorie deficit but don’t exaggerate otherwise your body will slow down your metabolism (he thinks it’s war so he adapts to survive). It’s counterproductive so you need to be in a deficit but eat enough. A deficit of 200 calories is ok but don’t do a 600 calories deficit. Maybe if you are obese and you eat 4000 calories a day it could work (?) but not if you are more on the chubby side. I must admit that I don’t calculate my calories : I try to eat healthy stuff in normal portions (with half of my plates in veggies). But I still need to work on that 🙃 2) fix the basics : drink enough water (more energy, better skin, less hungry) and sleep enough (otherwise you will have more from a specific hormone that makes you eat more). 3) there is something called NEAT : all the calories you spend outside the gym. So move more and do more stuff (eg cleaning your house :-) ) It can really help. Loosing fat is the addition of little positive things every day. 4) The best combo seems to be cardio hiit 2-3 times a week and strength training also 3 times a week. It seems a best of both world Combo as cardio will burn fat and strength training build muscles. More muscles means that you burn more calories when you are sitting on the couch 😜 and it gives you a better defined look. I like to add some stretching / yoga because flexibility is also very important. NB personally I don’t like to do the same workout every day : I like to change (to keep my motivation) and each workout will work different muscles so variation is good. 5) Look a your mind : I used to think I was not into sport and that my arms were weak (like it’s my DNA, nothing to do about it). But everyone can find a sport they like and train their muscle. Find the negative story that you tell yourself and be conscious that it’s a just story i.e. not the truth. 6) eating healthy means eating healthy food that you buy in their natural state and cook. Be aware of the extra sugar and oil of some “healthy” ready made meals and co. (Maybe you know that one but even when I buy mustard I look at the labels : some are better than others). 7) what works for me is making sport an habit : I do the same things each morning so I don’t ask myself whether I will do some sport or not. I try to do something each day. On rest days, I go for a walk or do stretching so I have the impression that I did something. 8) progress not perfection : like I said, it’s a journey and your results are the sum of all the positive actions that you did. If you slip one day / one meal... it’s not the end of the world. I’m not perfect in my journey but it is what is is 😊 Of course if you are / were obese and eating lots of junk food and not moving at all, you will loose more and/or quicker when you start to eat healthy and move compared to someone who wants to loose 5 kg and eats relatively well. We are all different but your body is a human body 😜 so he will react in the end. Have also a look in the mirror : sometimes we don’t loose much weight but we loose centimeters (and we see our body change). So .. Just continue 💪 and be proud of every effort that you do 💪
@@virginiemazy7054 thank you , You are very kind ♥️♥️ Your message touched my heart , l feel every single word in it I will pray for you that you achieve all what you want and be always happy 🧡🧡 Sorry for bad English 😅
@@esraaesraa5532 thank you 🙏 be patient but persistent towards a healthy life. And be kind to yourself : see the progress you make instead of seeing what is not good. At least you try to do something (a lot of people don’t even try).
I used to do a lot of exercises in Uni but since I graduated, I've been lazing around to the point my joints started making creaky noises when I stretched or slightly moved them. I now hate my favorite jumping jacks cos the balls of foot hurt and I can't walk afterwards, in addition to my right knee's pain from beening overweight. Recently my back started hurting from the new place I sleep and I decided I had to exercise my lazy muscles. This is the first workout video I've seen that's short enough for me to try, easy to do without jumping or equipment and makes me feel good. My goal: to get fit enough to start jogging again and trim off my belly fat. And get slimmer than my sister.
I worked out harder this time than since I started a week ago, so I confused how I only just finished with way less stopping for a few seconds due to slight muscle fatigue for a few seconds and then jumping right back into it with my heart racing and my all my exhales hard! Just so weird that I'm just starting to sweat!! Also happy that I have lost a few pounds in the last week with doing this with intermittent fasting.. Loving it thus far ❤
Well, I wanted something challenging and this workout delivered! Will for sure be adding this to my HIIT playlist and do at least three times a week :-) Thank you!
Enjoyed this workout as it was a break from my HiiT and I didn’t want to use dumbbells as my shoulder was sore from other exercises. I really felt the sweat lol. I wouldn’t say it was for a beginner unless you’re not working hard at them or leaving some exercises out 🤔
Thank u jo mam..it is a great coincidence that when I think of change in workouts u vl do a new workout video..u really know what we want..my body has changed a lot with ur workouts..I have followed many of ur challenges..i like ur squat challenge a lot...my legs are tough now..my day is incomplete without doing ur workouts and listening to ur words..I beleive and follow ur words..I'm so happy for ur new workout video..I vl definitely follow this..pls do more on core workouts..most of the females have problem with it and belly pooch..pls mention some foods that reduce belly pooch and love handles..

I feel pathetic I can’t even get half way through the first round!! I’m going to try this every day and hopefully I can improve on this 👍🏼
It’s a question of habit. Do this workout and other workouts of Joanna and you will see progress. I can make 10 knee push ups now. Before it was none ... It’s via that way that you will measure your success : when you start doing things that you couldn’t do before. Consistency is key.

Is this exercise enough to lose weight if i do it every single day with healthy food and calory deficit?🥺
My body is very resistant and lose weight slowly although i do workout nearly 5 days a week with healthy food 😔
I’m not a doctor, dietetician or coach but here are a few attention points that came back regularly when I did some research about how to loose fat :-)
1) you need to eat healthy and be in a calorie deficit but don’t exaggerate otherwise your body will slow down your metabolism (he thinks it’s war so he adapts to survive). But I still need to work on that 🙃
2) fix the basics : drink enough water (more energy, better skin, less hungry) and sleep enough (otherwise you will have more from a specific hormone that makes you eat more).
I’m not perfect in my journey but it is what is is 😊
Of course if you are / were obese and eating lots of junk food and not moving at all, you will loose more and/or quicker when you start to eat healthy and move compared to someone who wants to loose 5 kg and eats relatively well. We are all different but your body is a human body 😜 so he will react in the end. Have also a look in the mirror : sometimes we don’t loose much weight but we loose centimeters (and we see our body change).
So .. Just continue 💪 and be proud of every effort that you do 💪

Sorry for bad English 😅
@@esraaesraa5532 thank you 🙏 be patient but persistent towards a healthy life. And be kind to yourself : see the progress you make instead of seeing what is not good. At least you try to do something (a lot of people don’t even try).

I just finished this! Very good quick morning workout to get my day started!
I love all the workouts you've been given so far,,, GO GO Joanna Soh
I follow your exercise everyday and i just love it , thank you so much 💗💗💗💗👍👍👍👍👍
I used to do a lot of exercises in Uni but since I graduated, I've been lazing around to the point my joints started making creaky noises when I stretched or slightly moved them.
Day one for getting back to exercise. Thank you for the video!
You are the best... all the best..
And thank you so much for all these efforts you are giving.. to educate us about health...

Thank you!
This is so good, I was drenched in sweat. But really couldn't do plank up-downs like u do 😔 how to improve on that?
omg im in love. where have you been all these yearsssss
Enjoyed this workout as it was a break from my HiiT and I didn’t want to use dumbbells as my shoulder was sore from other exercises. I really felt the sweat lol. I wouldn’t say it was for a beginner unless you’re not working hard at them or leaving some exercises out 🤔
Oh my God this workout is great , I couldn't even do the walk squad , but I will keep trying till I get it
Thank you so much joanna 😘😘
