I baby her. full tune up fluids changed new breaks located zerks and greased dosent smoke dosent burn oil trans was replaced at 80k miles added a back up camera ( a must )
I just got a 98 2500, The Beast, love it. Keep posting, please. Doing mods to it, updated the stereo and amp, back up camera, you got to get one. Just replaced the muffler to a Magnaflow, I don't like it. Should of went with the Flowmaster 44. Thank you for sharing all your mods, keep sharing

@@orangeponygsxr9366the only difference is spring rate and axles, there’s no other difference suspension wise between a second gen 1500 and 2500. I’m literally running performance shocks and springs meant for a 2500 on my 1500.
@@claysalos1425 motor trans axels springs gears the entire power train is different ? That's a lot of work to change all that is all I'm sayin also all the steering crap
@@orangeponygsxr9366 it’s all bolt on if it’s a 4x4, literally springs, shocks, allll the steering components are the same too, the parts are a little beefier on the 2500 and 3500s but with very minimal work you can easily run all 2500 steering and suspension components. Even the transmissions are the same in some cases.
It’s off a 4th gen ram 2500. You can look on eBay and buy brackets to mount to mount it up. It has some gap but it’s not too bad. If the bumper is chrome it really shows off the gap but painted doesn’t as bad IMO
Be ready to live at the gas pump lol. I’d check the plenum gasket to make sure it’s not blown out. But overall they’re pretty solid reliable trucks if you take care of them.
You probably don't even own a trailer. This Cummings crap is dumb! Yes, the Cummings is great! However, so is the gas. Most of you don't need a diesel .

Swap a Cummins in it, motor is 3500, everything else probably 5-6k. Turn that truck into a 25,000$ truck up north 😂
