Im glad there's finally a video out explaining the installation process. I've tried twice so far to get it right. Still has slop in the wheel and vibration issues though. I've been quoted between 3 and 500 dollars for local shops to do it. I may give it one more shot before going that route.
Sorry you have had trouble. Slop should be easy to identify and remedy, vibration should only be due to settings. If you want to ask some specific questions and get a little help email me. Darrell.FarFromStock@gmail.com
They are extremely similar. Share almost all the same parts or very similar. I think the Heim joint vid and the smurf blue 4g vid are on exact 3g stuff. Pretty well covered overall. Ill review sometime 👍🏼
So I just ordered the full kit. For the second Gen., my inner and outer thyroid snapped, so I was not able to get measurements. What is the measurement from the left? Home hub to the right hub. Show, I can check for toe or see if it's straight.I was not able to measure it. Thank you

@@edgardocuevas6164 it does depend on lift, but typically the bigger ones do not. It’s because we design the steering kits for the most travel possible throughout a suspension cycle range and the bigger the cover the more it’s a limitation. The PSC box may require a slightly shorter drag link, as it sits farther off the frame rail. We are willing to help w that

Will this set up work if i have a mag front diff cover and will it work if i have a psc big bore steering box??
It did not work for me. Had to change back to the oem diff cover. But the big bore fits.
@@John.law19 thank you

This would be nice if i didn't have to upgrade to 17" wheels and tires
I actually have a axle for testing on this so i can clarify what is needed depending on aluminum or steel 16’s
@@mopar1darrell I have steel 16s. Factory wheels.
🔥🔥🔥👍🏽🔥🔥🔥
But I’m 2 Wheel Dr. why would I need a track bar?
You don’t
@ they need to change what they did on the post. It just says second GEN ram steering kit.
$1,300.00
From what i have understood heims are not street legal.
@@leevahal900 totally depends on the inspector on even the need for an inspector. These are legal lots of places. Rules are all over the place
Well, this sure doesn’t help for a 1500 thanks anyways
The 1500 stuff is extremely similar. I have had a few requests but not many. With a truck around I could have the system ready in a few minutes
@@mopar1darrellthere are definitely buyers if you do develop it!
@@mopar1darrellI would definitely buy if you had anything for a 1500. Are there any reasons this kit wouldn’t fit a 97’ 4x4 1/2 ton?
