Thanks a ton for sharing! I reviewed a few videos before attempting the job, glad I went with yours. Awesome tips. Another diy under my belt. 240,040 miles and going! TY!!
Thanks tons for this vid! Helped me a lot in changing mine out. Done in about 1.5hrs. Next time around, could probably do it in less than 1! Great to see a HEMI with high miles, hopefully mine will last just as long! Cheers and Happy Motoring! 🍻
yessir, i am not going to remove the fan like 1aauto said in their video, you have a crazy big garage man, thats some big ranch, did mine yerterday, but i unbolt the coolant reservoir, it was easy
Great video. Saw another from a major online auto part company and it had you removing the fan and shroud. Tried it their way but I could not put enough tension on the tension pulley to loosen fan. Glad I found yours, it eliminated a lot of work I didn't need.
Just wanted to say "thanks" for this video. I had to replace my radiator on my '06 Ram 1500 and your video was perfect in helping me to do it today. Great job!
This video worked for me. Getting that bottom oil cooler back on was tough though. Not taking off the fan and shroud was a big time saver. Thanks a lot.
@@TheOrdinarySean Very awesome. Thanks. I have the same yellow truck but mine is 2WD and I installed 20" chrome wheels off of a 2017 Dodge. It turns a lot of heads. Those headlights look sick though.
@@justus5588 The newer wheels on the Dodge trucks do look really good. I really like these headlights too and have not had any trouble with them in the time that I've been using them.
@@TheOrdinarySean Okay thanks, I'll look for those on other platforms. Great radiator video - mine's leaking, so when the weather dries up, I'll get my ass out there. L
Thanks for your video,I have an '02 with 32K on it and when I stopped to get some pizza I saw a pee stream coming out of my grille.I just wanted to know if I could do the job without taking the fan shroud out and now I know.Where did you get those headlights? I bought my radiator from Amazon for $75 new and I was happy with that price. Thanks again.
Looks like a pretty good price for the radiator. I got the headlights off of eBay and they are still working great a year later. However, they are a little bit of a pain to adjust initially because you have to remove the headlight completely in order to adjust them. Otherwise they are great. If my memory serves me correctly, I believe I got them from K2 Motors. I’m glad the video could help!
Doing mine soon as well, nice job. Those lights are awesome are they plug and play or did you get a lamp out light? got my hood shocks off amazon, work great. Thanks
Unfortunately they are not plug and play. You do have to cut off the OEM plug and rewire the lights. Which rewiring the lights is not hard to do and they work perfectly with no lamp out light.
Good Video Bro ! I have a 05 Dodge Ram similar to yours 2x4 tho I am about to do Radiator also This is my 2 Ram last one was 4.7 & did Radiator so this will be my first 5.7 Radiator change I will be watching it again right before I do the swap 👍🏼- The Yellow Ram is Fire & those headlights Are Sharp & BRIGHT !!! Thx E Graham
Thanks, I really like the Yellow Ram! Having one radiator change under your belt, this one will be a breeze. Should be easy for you. Good Luck with the repair! Thanks for the support!
Thanks man.I was sure this is how it was removed, but its always nice to see it before hand because it saves me time and energy.

Did mine today. Thanks for the video. It was the best way that I saw and did it in a little over an hour.

You are the first person who I’ve seen do it this way! I’m doing mine today.
I hope yours went well!

Buy an air hammer it'll help you zap the clutch fan off the snout of the waterpump.

I'm doing mine today thanks to you. How much did you pay for the headlights?

Great video and tutorial
What was the brand of the new headlights you got off eBay? Thanks. L
I believe the brand was M2 Motorsports, however I am not seeing them being available anymore on eBay.

How much coolant does your ram truck take?
About 2 gallons
Do you remember what brand radiator? And where you bought it?
It is a Keystone Collision Platinum Pro Radiator and I got it from Advance Auto Parts.
just did it this way, man was this video helpful!!!!
Beautiful ram...check out mine man
Thank youuuu
So you are able to remove your fan shroud without having to remove the fan assembly first??? Not very realistic.
