Sugar Cookies Icing Recipe:

The Chewy Version:
• CHEWY Vanilla Sugar Co...
Recipe in gr:
250 gr All Purpose Flour
2 tbsp Milk
140 gr Powdered Sugar ( If you are icing the cookies with royal icing only add 100 grams of powdered sugar to your cookie dough.)
150 gr very cold Butter
1/2 tsp good quality Vanilla
1/4 tsp Salt
The dough at first may seem like it won't come together, but keep mixing! If your flour has high protein content you can add 1/2 tsp more of milk.

Recipe in cups:
2 cups Flour
2 tbsp Milk
1 1/4 cup Powdered Sugar ( If you are icing the cookies with royal icing only add 3/4 cup powdered sugar to your cookie dough.)
1 1/3 stick of Very Cold Butter
1/2 tsp good quality Vanilla
1/4 tsp Salt

I think I must’ve work the dough a bit too much, my cookies were releasing lots of butter when baking them.. they sort of lost the “perfect” shape but still kept a “round” shape.

I made this cookie today and everyone loved it. I had to lower the heat cause we got a hot and humid afternoon. At first the dough was not sticking to each other even after 2 tbs of milk then i added another spoon and it was magic. Everyone loved it and my mom requested making more batch. I don’t know if others are having this problem but the audio is very low in the intro even when I have volume all the way up. This happens only in the very start prior to the logo and music starting, then I have to bring volume down because sound is great from there on out. I’ve noticed this in your past 2 videos and hadn’t had this problem on previous ones. On another note, will be trying this recipe today. I tried your italian swiss meringue and waited until the next day and so many guests came up to me to tell me how delicious the frosting was and wanted to know what type it was. Thank you!!

Lovely recipe Emma and your recipe don't use a lot of ingredients. I like the fact that the cookies don't spread it also hold it's shape beautifully. You are just as naughty as my children they also spread Nutella on just about everything even eating Nutella on a teaspoon , but I can't blame any one Nutella is delicious. Thanks for the great recipe, as always Emma! At first I tried to translate grams into cups myself and ended up with one cup of flour instead of two, but once I added an extra cup the cookies turned out great!
