Candlebox brought me through some hard times during the 90's. Still sounds bad ass and working for me. 13 years clean from the hard shit. Never go back down that road. To all my friends who didn't make it, still love you and think of you often. You are gone but our memories remain. Some good, some bad but there just the same.
They committed the "sin" of which so many bands of the time were guilty... namely that their debut album was so fucking good that there was no way they could ever live up to it.
Guitarists Peter Klett had the most amazing guitar tone on this album. It was dirty and heavy, but at the same time it was clean and chorused out. Most definitely a wet/dry rig setup. An extremely well produced album.
Man...I've seen these guys AT LEAST a dozen times...and still to this day I get chill bumps when they start playing. Cover me WILL be played at my funeral. Thank you Candelbox for speaking to my SOUL!

"Greatest band of the 90s" is a bit of an overstatement (not to mention highly subjective) but this is a great song by a great band.
"don't you," is their best song.

There could be an argument that most of the 90s music is underrated
