Thank you so much! haha I was nervous too. I usually do bottom to top for highlights and the process goes a lot smoother. I wasn't going to highlight all the down. But I LOVE these results so either way, it worked out! haha ❤️❤️

I've been watching you for about a year now and I think it's really great that you are doing your own hair and brave enough to try new things and get to learn about highlighting and improving your Technique. Also it's great that you have learned about the products and how to use it. I am Puerto Rican and I went to a Supercuts hairdresser, she asked me what do I want my highlights? And I said well I guess everywhere we were both thinking different things. She made all of my hair blonde just about. Not what I was imagining! I had to go to my friend's wedding. And everyone just stared at me like what in the world did she do!

Oh noooo!! I’m sorry that happened to you! I had a major hair fail at a super cuts right after having my first baby! I swore I’d never let anyone else touch my hair again! It’s been a fun journey learning to do mine. There’s been some mistakes but also so rewarding! Glad you enjoy my hair content! I still get nervous every time, but always tell myself I can just cover it up with a dark brown and be fine 🤣 at least I didn’t blow $250 (or more) for it to be messed up!

Gorgeous! Ive had cheetah hair for a month or so now. (Scared to put more bleach in) Always used box dyes now going down rabbit hole of how to hair dye. Thank you for sharing how to diy. I have better ideas of how to fix my hair.

Thank you!! I get nervous every time! haha I had a really bad experience at a salon and now I trust no-one but myself with my hair. I always end up with exactly what I want even if the journey seems like it's going to be a fail. There have been times where I messed up and had to go dark... But, even being able to choose that color as opposed to what someone else thinks would look good. I still end up loving my hair.

It’s much less damaging, but very high impact! You could try Elle Bangs DIY bayalage technique and see what you think! I think you would be amazing at it! Your hair always looks so good!❤

Everytime i do highlights with bleach why only the front in the middle of my fridge considering ive done it last, it always turns out the lightest and also the middle of my hair at the back but underneath? Lol its all the time when ive bleached it....its crazy

Very helpful video for those of us who need to a few DIY highlights at home in between expensive full head salon appointment. Your natural hair level looks about level 2 or 3 (similar to mine). Did you apply heat for the bleach to work and how long did you leave the bleach on? My first highlight attempt I used 20 vol, left it on for an hour and it came out orange. 😥
No heat, just the foils. I think I left of a little over an hour. I used a volume 30 I believe.
It’s totally ok to leave the bleach on longer than 1 hour btw. Just keep an eye on your color and don’t rinse until it’s past the orange stage,

I did this all in one day! As long as you’re not bleaching more than 2times. You should be fine. The toner actually is good for the hair because it is a bond enforcer.
Just be careful with 30 volume developer and lightener to always wear gloves, because it will give you a chemical burn. Do not place it directly on the scalp. If you need to lighten near your scalp use 10 or 20 volume. Also, be careful because a color correction is a lot more expensive then just getting and paying for the original service.

lol I'm currently on a bleach ban so I can get my long healthy hair back so it kinda did all fall out eventually! but most of my videos are spread out between 4-6 months between bleaching.

Looks great, my hair lifts way too much when I bleach and I am going for more of a 8A with 6na roots. But I gotta toutch ( bleach) my roots regrowth is 4 mths in ! 2 to 5in in places .. si gonna lift then deposit some demi with 10 vol praying I can grab the right colors ( to 1 NOT lift my bas and 2 tone my blonde which is up to a 10 in some places also leaving front out and will tone it at a 9.. for now in Oct I'm planning on root smudging to a 6A then a 7 on mids n ends with a 8 on front pc. O my lord I hope the hair gods can be with me! Honestly I just need to find a warm ( that's not red) that I can add into the 6/7 to get my blonde to darken and not go red. But I will be using 10 vol , and so it should lift my base and also should just deposit the red n blue into my yellow hair.. lol hope that all made any sence !!!
I love your hair color my Dil is gonna let me give her a fall bayalage and I will be rooting it and also using a reddish brown and tipping just the ends all over a nutrual blonde.. That was a level 10 toner I think they have sand I think the color is in that line you should of tried that one
I just want to say your results always turn out beautifully! But also bleach does not stop processing just a little FYI.
It does still process, but it doesn’t continue to lift color after about 45 minutes. It will just “cook” or cause damage.
Weird question. How much would it cost to go to the salon for highlights? Because you spent lots of money on those products allthough i get it that the bleach combo has lasted a while
Anywhere from $200-500 I’d say on average but I don’t really know. I haven’t been to a salon in so long.
My total is no where near that considering I spend that amount 1 time out of the 10 times I dye my hair. Say I spent $150….that’s just $15 per highlights. If you don’t plan on continuing…don’t buy a huge jar. Buy a 1 times use.

I was curious about that toner. Thank you for being brave to experiment. I think the wella ones you have used are prettier. I'm not a fan of that greenish tint on the face money piece it looks slightly greenish. It's an odd yellow base for the blondes but I'm never happy with my looks and keep tweaking formulas. ha ha ha
I actually prefer this one to the wella toners. They always come out darker than I want. This one brightened. Also I'm not sure how you're seeing green but I haven't noticed it. And I look at myself a lot between filming and editing for UA-cam, Instagram, and TikTok....

You can go over blonde, it just shouldn’t be bleached back to back.
