I owe you Big time. Thank You SO much. Trying to get over a health problem and looked horrible. Stylist ghosted me. My hair looks AMAZING and I feel better! About 7 more weeks and I should be out n about. Thank You. ❤️
I'm going to try this tonight. This is my fav at home touch up video by far! X
Wooow I love how you explain everything, will try this . Thank you !
That’s a gorgeous finish!! 😱😱😱
Followed this video and my hair looks amazing! Thank you!
Great tutorial - really helped! Thanks for sharing your expertise!
Beautiful!!! Beautiful lift and I may just have to try that toner!
Omg looks so good and it looked so easy! Loved it
Super, it turns really good, thank you so much for sharing 💜
I’m excited for my product to come and utilize what I’ve learned. I’m tired of salons not listening to me
Going to try this now. Thanks for the tips on applying toner :)
Wow!!! Absolutely Gorgeous! You are stunning and you have the exact haircolor I want! Great video- Thank you! I just spent $200 at a salon for THE WORST highlight job I've ever had in my life. I swear the girl must've used hand lotion from the dollar store instead of developer on me because even though she spent 3 and half hours on my "Highlights", I left with the same dark hair on top and extremely grey-green tone everywhere else! Ugghhhhhhhh!!! Forget it! I'm doing this myself! Hope I can order the same toner off Amazon! I just subscribed and am going to drink my face off and binge-watch the rest of your videos all night because I'm sick of looking at this mess in the mirror and crying! Thank you again! I'm pretty sure I've watched at least 80 hours of youtube videos on how to fix this- and yours is the best by far! Screw Elle Bangs! You Rock! :)
claygirl8 oh no!!! I hope you were able to get it fixed I know exactly how you’re feeling, I’ve had some botched hair do’s in my day 😣. So sorry for the late reply, I’ve sort of been MIA since having my baby but getting back into it again. Thanks so much for the love very much appreciate it ❤️
Pretty outcome. Thanks!
This should have more views. The other videos I watched were shit
Elicia Castrejon glad you liked my vid ☺️
I agree. I was going them and I was like, this is ridiculous! They show nothing I can use. Watching this I knew pretty quick she knew what she was doing. It's great!
Very well explained thank you soooo much!!!!
Work so well! Thank you!
Wow!! This Looks sooo nice on you!! You explained this so well !!❤
Thanks!!
Thank you for all the beauty at home videos!!!!
Oh you’re welcome thanks for
Checkin em out!❤️
You are so pretty. I love the video. As you can tell from my picture I'm a very colorful person when it comes to my hair LOL I would like to know what color toner should I use to keep my blue hair from turning green
You're so beautiful! 😍 Thanks for the tutorial!
Whoa you made the whole process look so easy. I want to try it too, and I am not a professional hairdresser, but I feel if I do exactly what you did, I should be able to get the same results. Maybe.. LOL
I see what I did wrong now. I went too far up with the bleach. This is really helpful, thanks. I’m subbing before you get to 100k so I can say I knew about her before she was famous.😊
OOOH that pink!!!
I have been watching for some time and you have some great videos and also great content, keep up the great work.
Nkechi Odukwe aw thank you so much
Great Demonstration thank you so much
Great instructral video . The twp parts I find the hardest is doing the back yourself (obvs) and judging when it's lightened enough to rinse off - its so tricky eve when you think it's pale enough you rinse then realise you should have left it another few minutes. A video about either of these would be great.
You look gorgeous in this color😍
Wow it look absolutely amazing at the end I had highlights done at the hair salon and my roots are still dark wish they made my roots lighter
Wow. Looks great
Wow looks Great!
Hi! Your video is very clear and easy to follow with no sensationalism. Thanks! I have a question. I've been a labor and delivery nurse for the last fifteen years, but I was a hairdresser at a busy salon cooperation in Houston throughout the eighties. I did color for the first few years, but then we departmentalized and I was more of a hair-cutter/ finisher so that's where I settled. I've been coloring my own hair red for longer than I can remember. At this time I have a ton of grey hair and I would like to start transitioning to grey. Do you think I could use the foil technique with my color to let the grey slowly filter in? I thought if I just do the top section like you were doing it will just fall over everything else. The lower parts of my hair don't have as much grey anyway. I would love to hear your opinion! Thanks
My hair takes forever to lift, too. Great vid, thanks!
I love it!
Loved this
Could you link the Matrix lightener that you used and what ratio. Thank you so much! Looks beautiful
Wow beautiful look😍
I've watched slot of highlight vids. This one is the best.
Jodi Cherry agree!
Agree! I watch this and the how to tackle the back every time I do my hair to refresh my brain
Looks great!
SUBSCRIBED YOUR CHICCY STYLES FREAKIN’ ROCK!!
Que color de tinte usaste para matizar las mechas me encanto el color
Very helpful! Thankyou 👌💘
wow..... looks better than a salon job!!!!
Love this hair cut ,please tell how it's cut so I can tell my stylist 🛑🛑
That is so fun for everyday
Thank you!!! I am a non-practicing trained cosmetologist and you really helped jog my memory because I do my own hair. It’s really hard finding a stylist that knows your hair.
Awesome video, thank you! Could you please do a video on how you did your blow out and style like you have at the end here? It looks great!!!
I've never seen your channel before but this looks great. Do some more hair videos for us new subbers and btw your makeup is on fleek!! 😍😍😍
ilovebeing amommy thank you!!! Will do glad you enjoyed this vid.
Very pretty 🌸 Thanks!
how do u know what type of bleach and developer to getfor your hair?
Thanks for your video! Super helpful.
Brenna Louis your welcome ❤️
thank you for this video!!!
I Really love the blond color you have ! My blond is not even there, more of an gold blond ! What should i do ? Bleach some lowlight ?
Could you use the exact same technique but taking it further back so you pretty much cover the whole parting that shows?
Girl's amazing.
Love your brows
Stunning! 🥰💕💕💕💕💕💕
Aw thanks ❤️
This was so freakin’ helpful!
Can you use this method on dark brown hair? My roots come through really dark and I would love to have natural colour roots like yours it looks absolutely stunning 😍🥰
So I'm planning on going into Sally's and taking your advice on the hair technique. I'm new to this can you tell me what I would need to buy I'm thinking I need a 30 volume but I'm not sure what other supplies I need to do this?
I do hair too I was so nervous of doing my own highlights thank you so much!!! You were great!!!
I do my hair all the time. Never took a class. Just do it. Most likely if you mess up you would know how to fx it. Also people dont notice mistakes as much as we do and all hair looks like grown out highlights right now so if you mess up it will be totally in style. Lol
I might do the new tease technique probably so easy and will look awesome. I just need a mirror for back of my head for this one
What Toner so you used! It is great!
Please do a video on how you do your eyebrows! 🥰😍
it looks gorgeous
Thanks! I’m doing another diy highlights vid soon the roots are needing some love these days haha
Omg that’s beautiful
Thanks! ☺️
Love the video! I'm wondering can I do this without scooping out highlights? My roots are a little longer almost to the point where if its a slightly different color it would look ombre' , my hair is fine & lifts very easily. Would that be okay or a disaster?
And can you do the same thing on the sides & back?
Great video thank you! One question... the foil.. is that regular aluminum foil like out of your kitchen pantry?
Ur hair look amazing wat hair dye u use?
I would also like to know if one can use normal kitchen foil?
Do u have a video of you doing your amazing makeup
I love this look! Did you do mostly the top layers of your hair and not the underneath?
Your hair color is gorgeous...... mine has ended up orangey grrrrr but my natural roots are a lot darker than yours, you are dirty blonde by looks of it...so im wondering if i should get brown and put hilite cap on pull some brown thru???
If you are not totally blond, what should I use? I have highlights and I asked my stylist which dye he used and the numbers. Should I used the same or just go with the bleach blend?
Great video!♥️ Is there a dupe at Sally’s that we can get for the toner you used?🙂
Hello I love your video
It’s very helpful
Could you please or someone tell me the name of your hair cut 💇🏼♀️? I love it!
Would this work for someone with lots of thick hair? 💕
Super! Wich toner do you use?
I have an all over very light blonde with my dark brown roots growing in. can I just hight the 1/2 inch long roots rather than all over lightening? THank you for your videos! Also it looks like ur lightener is all the way nearly touching ur scalp so it may be hard to gauge the distance by eye over video, would you mind letting me know roughly in cm the distance?
This is SO CUTE. Can I ask: which specific Matrix Lightener do you use? I see they have a big range. Is it the Lightmaster Up to 8 Levels? In the blue container?
Beautiful love it
diana14 thank you!
Can you apply the toner to wet hair?
Beautiful and effortlessly done....And you so stunning btw.
Katia Slater thank you ❤️
What if your hair is a medium blonde and ur roots are medium brown, but you want overall hair to be highlighted as bright as yours? What would you do then? Xxx
So is this basically another option instead of bleaching entire roots of hair? So this way is less damaging because your only doing some of the hair but not all of it
This is probably the best highlighting video I've seen! Doing this today!
Sweet!!! Tag me on Instagram if you post a pic I’d love to see!!!
Thank you so much! I’m so done with hair salons! Tried 4 different hairdressers (all with great reviews) and they don’t get it right, at the root is brassy, ends to bright, babylights patchy, it’s not worth it to spend the 💰 for 💩 job no more! I’m going to tackle it myself. Now I have to learn how to wave the hair haha
Aw sorry about your past luck but if you start with this small application of doing a money piece in the bangs you should be good to go and then you can work your way up from there. Good luck ☺️
Can you link the exact products you use for this? I'm trying to search for them based on the video description, but am not sure Im finding the right products.
Thank You!! 🥰🌹
What lightener brand do you use?
Awesome … could I do this same technique to add lowlights too? Seems simple enough and if I feather them in towards top they’ll be no harsh line right? Bc looking at the hair that u pulled at beginning to lighten when it lays again it’ll spread over the crown evenly right? Or am I way off lol? Thanks for any advice ima look they and see if u have a lowlights tutorial now also. 🥰💞
Fast, easy, good tedults and NOT too much talking!
Ratio. 2:1. (Lightener 2 to blush 1. I’m trying to fu
Inure how much lightener add to blush. Help!,
How close do you get the bleach to the already lightened hair without overlapping? Or also, how do you not get the bleach too far away from the already lightened hair and cause banding?
Thank you 😍🙌🏻♥️
Do toners add color or just take brassy/ yellow dingy color away ? Purpose of toners ?
What highlighter are using?
Is the texture of professional lightener thicker than the the ones available
to the public? The ones I bought are too slippery to keep the foils in place.
I know I’ve heard your name before but scrolling through looking for new ideas your face popped up and it looks super familiar maybe I saw some videos or something in beauty school! I only pop in and out of the beauty field because I’m mainly working in the restaurant industry as a chef when I can and now I’m cutting my friends hair for free and try to get them some fun ideas to carry them through until their own stylists are back behind their chairs. Great explanations for the budget conscious (a.k.a. people that don’t want to pay for the years of training that keep us off of the Hair Fails circuit!😎)
Suzanne Straughan oh really well that’s cool!! That’s super nice of you to do so many people missing their hairstylists right now ❤️
Another brill video...can you tell me? Im a brunette (a natural 6), primarily grey........ Can I use the same technique as you for the same colour? and what vol peroxide do you use? ( I USED to be a hairdresser but been a barber for years, hence Im rusty!). Id love to do something the same ....hope to hear from you, thanks x
what if instead of toning it , i just wash it with purple shampoo?
What colors are using
Can you share the brand of bleach you used?
