- Spirit (Randy California, Ed Cassidy and Mike Nile) Live From The Bottom Line In New York - November 18, 1990. "Love From Here" from the Spirit album Tent Of Miracles.
Spirit is one of the most under rated bands ever. Really really good band.
Pure class, what a brilliant guitar player was Randy California ❤
Yes, at the age of 15 Jimi Hendrix want to take him to tour in Europe but he wasn't allowed. Later he married the drummers daughter

Randy super
I've had 12 Dreams since around '70. This is so fun because it's so different... power trio vs studio production. I'll love this band forever.
Oh Man, So Beautiful...we miss You down here, Rest in Spirit Randy and Cass.
Saw the original line up live at "Mothers" in Birmingham in 1969 & as a trio about 15 years later at Brum Odeon when it still had gigs! Still my favourite band! Randy was a superb guitarist & Ed a wonderful drummer! RIP - both of them!
Brilliant, nothing else to say ❤
Sweet Randy!
bad ass vintage vid and tune brother -smoking cool sound-spirit lives
Spirit ❤🎸
Great Rolling Rock commercial too
Thanks for posting this! Just awesome!
That’s Mark Andes on bass. California, Cassidy, Andes and Jay Ferguson called themselves The Red Roosters before they called themselves Spirit.
Thanks for the great Video
Ya made my Day. Peace and Love🕊🪷
I am sure this is the same line-up I saw in a small club off Brighton seafront UK in about 1990.
Thanks for this great vid, hopefully there's more Spirit to come - always at their best in the trio format I thought =)
.Should have popped for a ticket. The ones you miss years later.

Whose the kid playing base?? I guess it dosen't matter !! Sounds DAMN GOOD...
I think the bass player is Mike Nile.
