    This worked for me! There is no stress on the lower back and with time you will see an improvement! JUST WANT IT! At first I could not complete the entire 8 minutes, but after a few weeks, I was looking forward to getting further then the time before. You're only competing with you! Don't give up. Stay strong.

    If it helps then I'm going to say that if your neck hurts, you need to start doing traditional crunches first. Try doing 10-30 a day. And if you'll be comfortable enough to start doing something more complicated, exercise using this video, but, for example, no 30 repetitions, only 15-25. And then finally you'll be able to make it without your neck hurting. It works for me. :)
    Now I'm doing this about 3 times a day (not every though).

    • @yarpen26
      @yarpen26 8 років тому +18

      NEVER excersise any body part without at least a 48-hour long interval in between. the muscle tissue you wrecked while working out needs time to rebuild itself. how much time exactly? i guess it would depend on the intensity of your training but i think three times a week (for instance Monday, Wednesday and Friday) should do the trick. in the meantime, of course you can work out some other body parts, just make sure you don't strain the abs during their interval period (if you do, nothing bad will happen but you'll just slow down the entire process)

    With a diet rich in protein and less carb+fat plus this workout every other day for 3 months i guess its possible to start seeing packs. Cardio exercises as far as i understand are those that makes your heart work a lot so that enough blood circulates throughout your body for muscle fibres to work and burn fat. I think doing push ups and other exercises makes your heart pounding if you hate running.

      Hi! Thanks for your comment. It all depends on your level of training, your preparation and your lifestyle. In an optimal hypothesis you can start seeing results from the second week on.
      Another important suggestion is not to exceed in training and give time to your body to rest! Rest is also very important to give your muscles the time to recover and start new challenges! ;-)

      Your neck hurts because you're using your neck to pull yourself up, let your body go and just move from the center. Personally this is too easy i started off at level 3, haha. But it's a little hard even though i add my own thing at the end for the serratus.

      +Mahmoud Shafey i think you should stay with level 1 until it's become simple like in 3 or 4 weeks

    Protip for the double crunch: form is more important than the full crunch. Only go as far back as will allow you to complete all 30.
