    Why did you leave fruit haven?

  • @philphilphil

    Diet never healed me (tried vegan, raw vegan, carnivore, keto). I dry fast now then build up on whole foods. Then back to fasting. Repeat. Slowly feeling like I did as a teenager. I mainly follow blood type diet and split between 50% raw 50% cooked. I sprout grains, I cannot eat legumes, meat feels heavy, sometimes goat kefir when I feel like it, fish works for me 1-2x a week, but usually I eat mostly plants, lots of veggies. I ferment raw nuts and seeds for easy digestion (Ann Wigmore was an angel). Low glycemic fruits are great too. Love berries. Zero supplements. Things slowly falling into place. Diet is individual. Find your foods!

    💯💯💯 Dr. Garrett Smith changed my life

    You know me as a strong vegan, raw & fruitarian supporter.
    Having said that IF i was following a cooked omnivore diet, i would definitely follow leviticus/kosher rules alongside the all year round various fasting periods of greek orthodox christian tradition, that accompanied the older & healthier Mediterranean diet
    I am glad that you finally stated openly after detaching from FH, what was apparent to me and i was reading between the lines the last years.

    I haven't watched Garrett Smith, so I'm unaware of what he promotes. I think a common sense approach to basically what our systems are designed to digest/ absorb and sticking to an omnivore type with intermittent fasting is probably the closest you're going to get. Following the biblical food regime might end up getting you sick or just causing you to miss out on good food. I don't intend to boil a calf in its mother's milk or it's cousins either, but I don't see it making a big difference. For the most part it seems to me that the Leviticus diet is moreso based on ick factor than anything else, but maybe I'm wrong.

    • @PeterCsere
      @PeterCsere  7 місяців тому

      I think the Leviticus diet is based mostly on Moses observing people's health and listening to his elders' thousands of years of experience observing people's health while eating more or less of certain foods. In a time when such observations were easier because there were no McGoySlop food additives.

      @@PeterCsere Oh I don't think there's any doubt that they were making some insightful deductions. I'm just saying that personal revulsion towards eels may have struck out tuna and catfish. Or that people who kept hogs were getting sick more often due to the hog wallow and flies it produced equalled "eating dirty ole pork is bad". If it is from logical deduction, then I don't think it will work like a rubber stamp, but more as a very loose guideline. Even differences in the genetics of a population will change what's healthy for them and personally I think that's what most people should be gauging a diet from. Looking back at what your primary heritage is and the diet that would have been common to that region and people in as much is possible.
      Me personally, I do well on red meats, oily types of fish, cheeses and cultured milk products, fermented vegetables, limited grains, and occasional binges on bitters & greens. Not surprisingly, I did some DNA testing and I'm almost entirely Nordic and Germanic in heritage. Someone else might would die on the amount of milk I drink!

    You didnt mention really important topic ...Some fruits are really not adapted to living men and women.. but other are more adapted. Especially the fruits that tastes acid, bitter , complex sugar and other anti-nutriment taste aftertaste.. a lot of youtubers say acid or citrus are best for detox and alkaline once digested...issue they require energy spent to detox acids in your urine.did you notice it , if you increase acid fruits , it will increase your urine quantity, and what is your current diet type

    While I love Dr Smith for exposing so much, I don't think he has the answers to heal. He explains symptoms and toxicities well. Lou Corona has more answers for healing. 🤗

      As for me, I can only go by personal experience having done 2,057 squats in an hour while on a fruitarian diet. Other notable fruitarians/raw foodists/vegans are Patrik Baboumian, strongman, world record holder, and Clarence Kennedy, weightlifter, world class, and about 5'8" 220 pounds, ripped and shredded. There's plenty of us. I personally can't remember a flu, since 1997. I'm now 64 and can run circles around most people. Yesterday, I did 30 push ups in 30 seconds and haven't been working out in over 10 years, and am just now starting to get back into it. Insofar as my weight it doesn't really matter now does it. I purposefully only concentrate on speed, strength, and endurance and am uninterested in bodybuilding and/or steroid use. I believe everyone should follow their own natural proclivity, i.e.: if they're thin practice marathon-like activities, if they're big then concentrate upon bodybuilding or weightlifting-type activities, and each will find their own way.

      @@Bee-jf2vn Which one lost teeth? There are many reasons for losing teeth; restaurant, tough meat and rocks in salads, before turning to fruitarian, raw food, or vegan diets. Also processed foods containing chemical fertilizers and preservatives. Tooth loss is terrible among meat-eating civilizations, see: Eskimo, short lifespan, health issue, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis.

      Genetics don't really cause those issues, but they decide where the weaknesses are located in the body

    • @PeterCsere
      @PeterCsere  Рік тому

      @@dramaticbusiness8465 Yeah, and to be clear, genetics wouldn't have *caused* her acne, but she may have had a genetic weakness that caused her liver toxicity to end up damaging her skin easier and therefore she got acne instead of something else. You may have a genetic weakness that causes your liver toxicity to damage your balls and you will end up with testicular cancer if you don't identify and remove toxins from your diet and lifestyle.
      Everyone has slightly different toxicity profiles, slightly different genetics, etc... even though most disease is caused by the same set of factors, it expresses itself differently in everyone.

      But the main point is eat a healthier diet as best you can.
      Like my sister obviously ended up with different genetic weaknesses then me. For example I ended up with the heart troubles when I was younger and she didn't. That was genetic heart problems was passed down from my dad's side of the family. ( Also off topic, but not sure if you realized this or not, but this is Gabby from the workshop lol. )
