Good LORD dude! That looks SO good. Anyone that disagrees is completely nuts and probably jealous! I just made it to the BLUE Tacoma letters on the tailgate. Excellent work.
I installed custom wrap to my lower doors like 6 months ago. The back doors have TACOMA cut out, same lettering style as the emblems. Looks nice and does block some of the rocks. I did notice that even with mud flaps, rocks hit the wrap and leave holes in it =/. Best thing we can do it put rock sliders or steps I guess. I have a quicksand 16 so the flat black works well. Nice rig btw!
when doing the wet method try a finer spray from the squirt bottle. The little hair salon style ones are perfect. you want a fine mist, not a dense spray.
Loose the pinstripe along with doorpost wrapping and the truck will look much taller and bold !!! I removed mine and the long and low look vanished instantly !!! Kept badges except the v6 i did remove. Awsome job !!! The wrap and colored letters are indeed awsome.
Looks good. Black does look nice against blue. It would probably be a pain, but On the black wrap at bottom, if you were able to add a 1” blue stripe to accent it that would look even better.
Great video. Would you say the matte black vinyl wrap matches the color of the fender flares? I’m looking into wrapping my fender flares and maybe the roof matte black because I really like the look of the off road model.
Pls don’t put sidesteps on this taco, be sure to get some real bolt-on sliders so they can protect your truck and just put some grip tape on them if you have to.
Sliders all the way. AllPro made food ones for the old Toyotas, no idea if they're still in the game. I have White Knuckle sliders on my Ram and they're awesome, already saved the truck more than once, not to mention all the roads I wouldn't of even tried without them (even though I haven't always needed them). But yeah, if you plan doing any serious or even semi serious off roading, don't waste your time or money on nerf bars.
I like the tail gate and the letters inside, but I'm not sure about the wrap on the sides. Maybe if it was less wide it would look better. But hey if you're happy then that's all that matters
When you took that plastic trim piece off with the heat gun where you wrapped next to the bumper, did you have to use a new adhesive? I thought 2 screws held it on
This looks really clean. In the other video's I've seen if your guy's, I wonder what you guys did and had thought maybe you plastidip it. Look nice! Where did you buy the vinyl and cut tape?
I was looking for the TACOMA vinyl in blue on their website, is it the reflective blue or are those non-reflective vinyl? Thanks, your Tacoma is sick looking!!!
I feel you bro, I just bought a 2020 Tacoma like 2-3 weeks ago and the first day when I was driving it home from the dealership they were doing construction on like 40% of the road on my way home and it was only one lane in each direction, on my way home one of the vehicles on the opposite lane kicked up a stone/rock and it hit the tailgate of my new truck that I was driving home from the dealership... I heard the rock hit the truck but I didnt know where it hit it and when I got home I didnt see any dings on it so I thought that it must have hit the grill or something but then 2 weeks after I had it parked in my driveway because of the covid-19 quarantine I was washing it and I saw a paint chip on the tailgate :-( I havent even driven the truck anywhere yet, I just drove it from the dealership home and ive been on lockdown ever since because of the quarantine. Now I gotta pay a bodyshop or the dealership to fix the paint chip before it starts to rust.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Thanks, luckily it doesnt look like it made any dent it just flaked off the paint in the area where the stone hit and left like a white mark there. I am hoping that they can touch it up without having to repaint the whole tailgate and that it wont leave a small dimple after they touch it up. After this experience though im definitely thinking of getting my tailgate and hood wrapped in paint protection film. The front and back bumper ill leave as is because in the future I might replace them with off-road steel bumpers.
You mean the matte black vinyl? I got it off of amazon! ua-cam.com/users/redirect?q=https%3A%2F%2Famzn.to%2F38zN8cu&event=video_description&v=ZF99HDA7HSA&redir_token=6wspPgbO0_AJgV1QpRKNVsrDyJ98MTU5MjQyNjUzOUAxNTkyMzQwMTM5
The Tacoma letters over the badges looks OK, but IMHO, would of been cool to use some more of that vinyl on the door sills, and then but the letters over that
Why not? It's fun and an easy project to do, I've done a few designs so far and that's why it's my truck lol. The latest design I did I've had for awhile and it's sweet looking! I love it!
I thought the idea of an offroad truck was to get it as dirty as possible, and suffer the usual damages of offroading. IF YOUR so wooried about damages, maybe you should leave your truck in the playroom, and buy a real truck...
the lettering looks kinda dumb IMO...looks obvious that it's not supposed to be used for that application, especially since the TACOMA letters are connected on the badge and not on the sticker. The tailgate looks awesome though.
Good LORD dude! That looks SO good. Anyone that disagrees is completely nuts and probably jealous! I just made it to the BLUE Tacoma letters on the tailgate. Excellent work.
Thank you!! I had some fun doing different designs so my current one is a bit different! It’s fun to play around with some accents!
Just started watching! Gathering the kids around the phone now. Hmmm.. they’re not as interested as I am. This is perfect bruv!
Glad you enjoyed this style for the truck! I loved the look!

I am thinking about taking the V6 off the back
Bit late finding your channel but as a truck owner and lover I had to subscribe. Amazing wrapping skills ! Makes me want to do mine now
Feel like I’m watching an “Off the Ranch” video with the background music
Should wrap the 2 chrome bumper ends in the same mat black. Get rid off all chrome. TRD pro Grille and do blue letters over the grey toyota letters
I'm planning to buy an used Tacoma and this channel have me hooked up
that wrapping came out so cool !!
Good job on the vinyl wrap. Looks great!
Looks good. Black does look nice against blue. It would probably be a pain, but On the black wrap at bottom, if you were able to add a 1” blue stripe to accent it that would look even better.
Wow those letters really set that off! Good call..
Thanks!
Awesome job guys. Just got my 17 Tacoma and im thinking of doing this..
Great job....planning to do same spaces with vinyl wrap, but came up with a gravel pattern on white TRD Pro.
I like the body vinyl. But the first thing I did was remove all of the badges from the exterior...I like the clean look.
I'm probably going to remove the V6 on the rear
the door sills are a dealer accessory, you can get regular ones or illuminated ones (illuminated ones are more expensive though)
Why does the bottom part of the paint have a rough texture? I saw this on a tacoma once and thought it was a paint defect
It's not a paint defect, it's part of the factory paint projection film(some kind of coating), I had that on my last tacoma too.
Everything you are doing withe this Tacoma is perfect !! Keep it up
Can you put a link to the exact one you used
Rhino Line the blue paint under the door....that's where you'll get the most damage and will look so much better.
Great video. Would you say the matte black vinyl wrap matches the color of the fender flares?

singletrackftw I wont be running normal running boards! Still searching on those.

you realize "real sliders" and "bolt on" is an oxymoron right?
Rock Sliders > Running Boards
Nice wrap. Had to wrap my 06 4Runner front bumper valence to protect it, and make it look nicer
I like the tail gate and the letters inside, but I'm not sure about the wrap on the sides. Maybe if it was less wide it would look better. But hey if you're happy then that's all that matters
Hey where did you guys get the black vinyl and knifeless tape
Daniel Pierce I'm wondering the same thing...
Brayden Aurich I think I found some 3m vinyl on amazon that might work
Daniel Pierce I saw the same thing
Looks awesome!! Between yours and @bustabeatgeorge tailgate this is going to be added to my to do list.
Looks great . You guys made it look professionally done .Good job !
Robb E Thanks!
Im looking up the decal place u referenced now. Thx for video.
You should get a black exhaust tip or plasti dip it. Mine turned out good just p dipping.
When you took that plastic trim piece off with the heat gun where you wrapped next to the bumper, did you have to use a new adhesive? I thought 2 screws held it on
I just reheated the adhesive, and it stuck pretty well. But yea the screws will hold it in place too.
This looks really clean. In the other video's I've seen if your guy's, I wonder what you guys did and had thought maybe you plastidip it. Look nice! Where did you buy the vinyl and cut tape?
Thanks! It's from metro restyling and I think I got the tape from them too!
I see that you don't have sill protectors in your Taco, my as well get some since you are protecting the bottom of the truck.
over two years now, how has the GLOVE BOX sticker held up???
I actually have a 3D inlay in it now. Been good tho!
I want to wrap mine with the clear one. I like the blue color on your Tacoma 🤘👍
I was looking for the TACOMA vinyl in blue on their website, is it the reflective blue or are those non-reflective vinyl? Thanks, your Tacoma is sick looking!!!
Good Job, I might wrap my 2017 Taco.
What kind of vinyl did you use for the doors? Where did you get it?
It's 3M from metro restyling, matte black.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed what amount or length did you get?
Anthonie Rose It was 5ft x 7ft.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed cool thanks, your truck looks great by the way
Anthonie Rose Thanks!
I would have taken the vinyl wrap down and under the pinch seam of the body also since its black vinyl I would black out the emblems.
One of a kind love it mine is too
This is pretty sick bro.
Thanks!
Black letters I think would look better on the silver
I want to put that black on mine
I feel you bro, I just bought a 2020 Tacoma like 2-3 weeks ago and the first day when I was driving it home from the dealership they were doing construction on like 40% of the road on my way home and it was only one lane in each direction, on my way home one of the vehicles on the opposite lane kicked up a stone/rock and it hit the tailgate of my new truck that I was driving home from the dealership... Oh dang man! That's crazy for sure, hope you get it fixed!

Hi there, i like those stickers on your tacoma, that was sick!, where i can get that stickers.
You mean the matte black vinyl? I got it off of amazon! ua-cam.com/users/redirect?q=https%3A%2F%2Famzn.to%2F38zN8cu&event=video_description&v=ZF99HDA7HSA&redir_token=6wspPgbO0_AJgV1QpRKNVsrDyJ98MTU5MjQyNjUzOUAxNTkyMzQwMTM5
I like that wrap i like how it looks i wanna do that to mine
Looks great! Does the product work as well/better than a clear bra? You two work so well together. You make these projects look easy. Lol
How much vinyl did you use for the rockers?
What vinyl did you use and where did you get it ????
It's 3M matte black from metro restyling!
Good job! Anybody ever tell you that you look like David spade ?
jason petersen ha ha😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
Looks awesome!
I would only wrap the back of mine I don’t like how it looks on the sides in my opinion
The Tacoma letters over the badges looks OK, but IMHO, would of been cool to use some more of that vinyl on the door sills, and then but the letters over that
Lol, just got farther in the video, and yeah, basically like how you did the back hahahaha
Looks absolutely phenomenal!!!
Nate C Thanks!
Bros FOURR Speed can you please link the exact amount and what size and how much you bought please
I LOVE ITT!!!
To each his own, but I would have just gone clear...
Good work
Thanks!
Where'd you get all the supplies for this?
Metrorestyling .com
Door seals only come with some packages.
Where did you get the vinyl?
Nice thumbnail clickbait
White would look better with big white flares and them big tires your talking about.
Looks sick I love it
Thanks!
What is the wrap called!!
I wanna do that but have it line x
That'd be sweet!
Fantastic work guys. Looks great :-)
Andrew K, Northern Ireland Thanks!
Wrap the bumper!
I wouldn't let these guys wrap my nephews tricycle lol
Why not? It's fun and an easy project to do, I've done a few designs so far and that's why it's my truck lol. The latest design I did I've had for awhile and it's sweet looking! I love it!
Where did you get the lettering from
Shawn Friday tacoma vinyl decals, more info is in the description.
A shop light or flashlight would do wonders for dark areas guys. You're making a lot of videos, so maybe use lighting instead of apologizing.
Have you guys ever seen a real triangle shaped cloud before? It's on my channel
Looks sick
Sharp
Looks great but I still wouldn't do it 🤔
WATCH MY VIDEO BECAUSE OF THIS! Every UA-cam thumbnail ever.
You bought a trd offroad and your worried about one little scratch! You should of bought a Camry and left the Tacoma’s to the real men.
Yeah because it's frowned upon to keep a truck in good condition? No matter what vehicle it is it's never a bad thing to keep it in good shape.
That would buff out so easily. Im curious how the vinyl holds up to off-road use. Does it scratch easily? Im sure you cant buff vinyl. Thanks!
CR Mills lmfao
I thought the idea of an offroad truck was to get it as dirty as possible, and suffer the usual damages of offroading. IF YOUR so wooried about damages, maybe you should leave your truck in the playroom, and buy a real truck...
Real truck? Like what a raptor?
Cool
Get some CBI Offroad rock sliders
Dang my taco ahit all scrached up from dang branches smh
the lettering looks kinda dumb IMO...looks obvious that it's not supposed to be used for that application, especially since the TACOMA letters are connected on the badge and not on the sticker. The tailgate looks awesome though.
I like it
Nice, same video payoff instead of waiting.
he showed his numberplate'
It's my birthday
His car could have look a better if he bought the white one then had black and white togather
Toyota Of Gastonia? SC Tag? IG Loaded With Maserati Of Greenville, Downtown Greenville Parking Garages. Maybe I'll Run Into Ya'll One Day
*buys an off road truck
*wraps it because of a tiny scratch
*spends hard earned money on truck*
*wraps vulnerable area to prevent damage to maintain high quality of expensive truck*
Get mudflaps
I'd take the scratches over that awful wrap. Sorry bud. That WAS a gorgeous truck
I would take the scratches on the vinyl because having to repaint is harder than peeling off and replacing.
so picky its a small scratch
Looks super super dumb
Nah
Nope
Smh
This was such a bad idea. Looks incredibly stupid on the sides. I guess as long as you're happy.
Omg what an awful scratch
Nice clickbait thumbnail. My truck got scratched offroading.. lol gtfo
