You didn't do a taste comparison. I was hoping you would. I loved the whole video. I've never had a successful crop of carrots. Now I know why. I've always tried growing them in the springtime.

I adore you two! You’re such a great example of Christ’s love! My husband and I have been married for 34 years and it makes me smile to see your love for each other! Thank you so much, Hollis, for being such a phenomenal teacher! I so appreciate how you not only show us how to put a seed into the ground, but take the time to create visual aids with names, gardening terms and characteristics of everything! I love your explanations of how you do things and why you do them! Nancy, thank you for all your efforts in the kitchen and sharing all your wonderful recipes!( I know you work hard in the garden, as well!) Much love from another Floridian!

Hollis and Nancy I really enjoyed the video. I was dealing with sickness in my family and didn’t get to start my carrots last fall. Today is January 13th, I’m in Louisiana. Is it too late for me to start carrots for the spring? I have my seeds and can start as soon as possible. My granddaughter love carrots and I would love to grow her some. Love the program. Lol. I see you are in Florida. I am originally from Michigan and never had a problem growing anything. When i first moved here i couldn’t see how you could grow anything in the white sand and i did very poorly. I killed every tree i planted. 6 of them and could only get hibiscus to grow.

Thanks again for another great teaching video. Question: In our area of Central-Southeastern Ohio, fall is usually very unpredictable in that it can be minimally wet to very wet, and it can be warm to very cold, where each day could be completely different. Our winters starting in January can be very wet and cold to having six inches or more of snow. The weather here is very unpredictable all the way through the second week of March. A good example for you is that it is the first week in March, and a week ago we had a very destructive EF-2 tornado (with 110 mph winds) touch down just four miles directly north of our front door in the very early hours of the morning. We really have strange winters here because we are in the middle of the state. What I would like to know is, can we still overwinter our carrots being that we might have a very wet winter or a very snowy winter?
