      @@bodybuildingABC Harris was essentially on Tony's side in the war, both because they were trading information and because he ended up just kinda liking Tony personally. So he was excited that Tony was winning. Harris actually based on a real FBI agent who worked with some mob IIRC, who said a similar thing when he heard a rival mobster got killed.

      So do I. I always loved the fact that he always acted like a real professional. He did his job but always treated Tony like a fellow human being and tried to always let him keep his dignity. I was really impressed with the flowers his office sent to his mother's wake.

      I agree and his relationship with Tony in the final seasons 6a-6b was very interesting. They are both very respectful of one another considering they are technically mortal enemies at first but in the end Agent Harris knows Tony is an extremely lesser evil and will work with Tony based off their prior friendly and respectful relationship.

    One of my favorite all time scenes. I love how this quid pro quo "friendship" developed, even just briefly. Both men having jobs that put a wedge between them and their family. Both love their country despite thier differences.

    Lmao. Agent Harris not only pulling TnA Wayyyy out of his league but also finessing deep CI knowledge out of her and passing it onto his former target. Easily my favorite substory of the entire series. "DAMN! We're gonna win this thing!". I dunno how man times I've watched this clip and I laugh every time. Never underestimate hometown pride or the human element in any historic moment. Often times the greatest events are decided or greatly influenced by the tiniest, stupidest thing. It's so absurd it could easily be real.

    One of the most interesting (and realistic) parts of the show is how both the individuals within the FBI and the mafia see others with total indifference, and completely disposable in relation to the wider interests of the organisation they represent.
    Agent Harris works personally with Adrianna. He knows what happened to her, and he cares about as much as he did when he helped put her in that fatal situation in the first place, which is to say not at all.

      @Principal Scudworth According the writers 15 years later lol. The actual writing of the ending was more profound to me. Tony could've died that night in the Diner, he damn well deserved to. The way I perceived it is Tony is stuck looking over his shoulder for the rest of his life . Tony knows he isn't safe and his family isn't either. He will live a life of insecurity with only his enemies by his side. He did betray almost every one who was loyal to him , atleast to some degree.

    Tony seemed to have a great deal of respect for intelligent people like Mink, Harris, etc. who were just as clever speakers as him. Notice at 1:22, Tony usually hates it and cuts off people when they talk about their lives, but Harris knew how to keep it on level fields between them

    I also love the little detail of the butcher saw in the background as Tony orders a sandwich. Same saw used to dice up Richie. The little details in this show were outstanding.

    I know the actor who playyed agent harris. Greaat guy. If I were to compare him to a character in the show he is more like artie bucco than any other character. A pro chef irl.
