Chris getting mad at the waiter for having a seizure after he hit him with a brick shouldn't be funny😂😂

I give praise to whoever put this video together, they actually show the context leading up to the murders and what happens after instead of just the murder. I've seen the show multiple times but for people who have it it makes the video a lot better.

That Tony kill in the first season took a lot of balls back then, dawn of a new era.
Big time! That was arguably the most important episode / death in tv history. Hbo pushed back on Tony doing that as it was unprescedented (in TV) to have your protagonist murder someone in cold blood (and not in self defence). If that scene didn't happen you probably wouldn't have gotten walter white, GOT and to a lesser degree Donald drapper (mad men).
It pushed the boundaries of what popular TV could be and all because David Chase 1. couldn't get funding for his mob movie and 2. was a stuborn f**k who wouldn't let HBO tell him what to do.
@hopoff9968 really astute observation, keep em coming !
@@ThisIdiotsOpinionIN MY OPINION there are worse things than murder. So that’s y i didn’t care much. Plus that was a scumbag that tony killed
@@ThisIdiotsOpinionit was a little bit kill-or-be-killed. He had Tony and Meadow in his sights the night before.
@DebNKY If it was a kill or be killed situation he would have killed Tony first. The guy was scared of having been spotted by a mobster and also didn't want to kill him in front of his daughter. And even if he had pulled the trigger, "the hustle never ends" as Tony says, and some other mobster would have gotten to him. What I'm saying is that you clearly see who is the predator and who the prey
*I love how Janice holds and shoots a gun better than 99% of the made men in this show*
Yes...and gets him twice right in the heart!
Christopher is really the only one I can think of who could shoot under pressure.

Junior so upset about that kid committing suicide because of drugs but meanwhile he sells coke 😂
Omg that is hilarious
It's one thing to deal with adults, another to deal to kids.
@@InteloPLIt's also another thing to be a naive idiot. Do you do it intentionally? The Mafia didn't give a shit about kids getting hooked on drugs, as long they could deny their own involvement. They're scum, and don't you forget it....SCUM
coke doesn't kill people. staying up for a week because you can't put the coke down kills you. stop villyfying drugs, start villyfying malevolence.
Exactly. It wasn’t about the drugs. It was the ethics and principles of keeping it away from the youth. The more uou rewatch, you realize Junior was actually the brains of the “boss-duo,” whose insecurities overshadowed his great leadership skills.
"They been told. Twice. Now I'll tell 'em." Easily the best mobster line I've ever heard.
You shoulda seen the pricks face when he saw the gat
Nah it’s “next time they’ll be no next time”
It is but is ruined by Paulie proceeding to tell the guy a bunch of shit to remember then kill him.
Gene was probably the most tragic one. Pressure from every direction. The wife, the "family" and the law enforcement.
I agree, the walls were closing in on him so he took the only way out he could think of
@@ThisIdiotsOpinionthis is some good shit, a lot more quality and effort than most other people will put in for a free UA-cam video that will get them fucked by HBO.

Not all hero's wear capes.
The way they filmed the scenes in the earlier episodes are so very different from the later seasons, i only just noticed it.

I really wish Mikey stuck around longer, something about his mannerisms is fucking hilarious (like the annoyed scoff when he first notices there’s a car following)

He was pretty loyal to Jr.
He was one of the most "Grand Theft Auto-ey" characters in the series 😂 Definitely in a good way lol

Honestly one of my favourites
Poor Bobby man, Karen's funeral where he's weeping over her casket, all the scenes with Janice pulling the Ziti out, and then dying in that damn model train store, he was really screwed by the world. He still killed that one guy in the laundromat in cold blood and was an Underboss and Capo obviously, but Bobby is one of the more morally good characters in the show. The Sopranos is so good at making you really care for the worst people, like when Tony and Melfi are talking about Gloria and basically both grieving still
Bobby was too pure for mafia life. He's a good example of someone who would've become someone completely different if he had a different father. Without taking any responsiblity away from him, the pressures of having a well respected and feared hitman for a father practically forced him to get involved in the life. Yet he still managed to remain an overall good(ish) man.
Also, i don't think that Gloria is a bad person either, she was just person in pain who was fighting her demons who unfortunately lost. I think we can all relate to that.
But you are right the fact that we actually care about Tony given how big a piece of caca he proves himself to be time and time again is a testament to how good the writing was (also James Gandolfini's charisma).
@@ThisIdiotsOpinion 100% agree with your reply, and I wasn't trying to imply Gloria was a bad person, just that that scene really make me feel bad for Tony in spite of how evil he arguably is
100% agree , an example of how with him something died with too ,
A couple of times, like the old life that perhaps had some moral qualities died in this generation.
The episodes appear to get that message across,
“The bodies not even cold “
“ no respect for anything anymore “
Sopranos delivers the fading away of respectable aspects of the families,
The shrinking of little Italy itself, the acceptance of substance misuse another example, the old guns disapproved, of substance dealing,at least in public.
We see how substance misuse messed things up as it does in all society, and lives.
He was a terrible Santa though
bobby's only kill was ordered out of spite by tony. crazy
"Uh.. You're mother died."
"You're kiddin'...
I mean, uhhh, Jesus Christ."

This is a fantastic compilation, it includes the complete saga and build up to each death
Great job
Thank you very much! The build up an context is what makes the actual death interesting. Which saga was your favourite?
I didn't see Silvo or tony get offed?@@ThisIdiotsOpinion
@davenorth8922 cause they don't. Silvio survives that shooting and is in a coma for the rest of the show and no one knows what happened in Holsteens. David Chase has never revealed what happened after the screen went black, despite what bullshit clickbait news articles will try to tell you.
Yeah agreed, this compilation took some dedication, thanks for the hard work putting it together.
2 hours plus of murder scenes, it’s crazy we like this thing of ours .
@@ThisIdiotsOpinionvery well edited showing each part that leads up to the killing
Jackie Jr's death always gets me. Bro had everyone looking out for him and even dated Meadow at one point. Then he started going down the wrong path, cheated on Meadow, and got so focused on becoming a made man that it led to his death.

The bullet rolling around in the dryer is why The Sopranos was so good. Realistic with an edge of belief for the viewer. Could this happen. Of course it could.
The sheer amount of Americans getting busted because they left a couple rounds in their luggage and flew into a country with different laws on arms importing
You’re missing Lorraine and Jason which started the Lupertazzi civil war and you’re missing Tony’s assumed death at the end
Nope, they were resurrected in the OVA

As someone who has watched every season of the sopranos, over 2 times, since it came out. The murder of Lorraine "Lady Shylock" Calluzzo is missing. When Phil had his goons chase her thru her home naked and killed her.
Who was that I don't remember that one
@@mcbdllc2848 her character was played by Patti D'Arbanville. She was the loan shark woman with a young guido boyfriend who Phil Leotardo confronted in the bar.
