Well this is only required for pushing high in the pit. If you are just speedfarming pit or doing helltides it is definitely not required. If you are pushing your limits then its really important though
Crhonikz your videos are the best, not only well layed out but you explain WHAT actually does what, most build guides just say "add this, add this... here is game play" I was following a golem build guide and wasn't doing crazy damage only to find out i had no idea the skill rotation needed.
Hello Chronikz, I am almost at 12/12 mw my gear and then I will switch to boss setup (playing your HC race build, now shield pit push). Is there really the same paragon tree for boss setup? I saw differences only at used skills (AotD + Blight, which is logical for single target burst) + skeletal mages damage temper on gloves (I have decrepify size + dmg to cursed enemies on gloves now). I suppose using the focus or 2-h is quite a risk for bosses, correct? Overall fantastic build, my 1st HC char and I was able to do 100 lvl, farming pits around 80 tier now. And why vulnerable dmg gem for bosses if we wouldn´t use Tendrils, but Blight instead, what will proc vulnerability then? Thank you.
Love the build! I took a different approach but am enjoying it and it is powerful. I use Ring of The Sacrilegious Soul, which automatically casts Raise Skeleton, Corpse Explosion, and Corpse Tendrils. Instead of Shadowblight, I specced into Corpse Explosion to make it shadow damage to achieve the same effects as Shadowblight - granted I don't get the 20% increased damage from SB, it auto casts. Also the Skeleton Priests are always up due to the ring - a lazy tradeoff. Also I specced into Dreadful Blood Mists for some immunity and increased crit. That's my variation, not sure if anyone is running anything similar. Run around, buff golem, cast Bone Storm and Decrepify, and loot
Love the Info. Came back from season 0 where minions sucked and now having fun being OP asf this season. The golem has been my hero and now I wanna push him to his limits.
hey Chronikz. I am playing the Shadow Minion Build with Bonestorm. At what point should i switch to the Pit Build? i am currently doing 70pits in ~3minutes. but id like to get to 100 in about the same time if possible
Hiya, I was about to give up for the season cuz I play sorc and or Rouge melee, but those aren't that good for the pit so I made a necro even tho never liked this class much, thx to you and this video I give necro chance and I'm now pit 71 with np tysm. You have now a new sub cheers mate
Hi, great builds. For your hardcore variant are you giving up Aphotic aspect? Also in your hardcore push are you using harlequin? What aspect are you giving up for it? Didn’t see a unique version, Thanks
Hi Chronikz, great build but I have a question: the written build says damage to cursed enemies on amulet/rings, why dmg to cursed? I never see it anywhere and some say its broken so I dont know if I should risk it
Hey, planning to play HC minion necro, which one from your planner do you recommend to follow, please? Or it does not matter for levelling? Thank you. Edit: amazing build, today I will finish lvl 100, absolutely safe build, of course you need to keep resistances and def capped, but overall great. Cons are probably, that this is really "lazy" build, you practically just run around, decrepify, tendrils... that´s all :D I am curious if this build is capable to beat Lilith.
hey Chronikz you need to update your guide specifically in the Golem Pit Push Tab, there in the skill tree you still have points in the following passives: 'Reapers Pursuit', 'Crippling Darkness' and 'Gloom', since that version swapped Blood Mist for Blight, then there's no 'Darkness' Skill to take benefit from those passives, having said that, where should I move those x7 points in the skill tree then?
Just did my first lvl 90 dungeon with golem summoner with lvl 89 what should I focus on now since gem lvling is getting slow? And what keys are considered good for a necro right now?
Just curious do you have a link to this build the link has a slightly different setup to the written version and doesn't mention the skill tree changes
Hey Chron, I am using your Maxroll build "Shadow Minion Necromancer Endgame Build Guide" June 5th. I see you promote critical strike chance. I thought this build was shadow/dot/curse, however...DoT cannot critically strike. So the question is, why critical strike chance prfeferred over critical stike damage? thank you
Its surviving on a weird unintended interaction with an aspect and your minions counting as the same level of mobs in your instance. Not optimal, nor intended.
Depends on the variant you want to go for. If you want to scale both types of minions you go Cursed. If you go for the Golem Pit Push variant you temper Golem Damage. You can check the gear in the variants in the written guide.
The Sword implicit makes up about 0.5-2% of your overall damage, depending on your gear. Its basically nothing. A wand provides LHC which reduces CDs through Abhorrent Decrepify with your skills.
@@Chronikz I saw you can drop the hulking aspect in favor of shako, but I didn't see anything about Tyrael's might, not sure what to drop in favor of that one, or if it's even worth it.
You need to make aure your Raise Skeleton is permanently active to trigger Aphotic and use it as often as possible to keep Flesh-eater uptime high. You should check out the skill rotation chapter.
@Chronikz I followed that to a T. When I'm doing the test dummy I see it always. Out in the world when I have elixirs, brain or incense going it doesn't come up 60%+ of the time.
hello i am max level and paragon points with royal diamonds and i cant seem to cap two resistances.. i need 2.1% more resistance and i cant seem to fit that anywhere in my hc setup. Any ideas?
Idk I personally hate using blight aiming it and then it dropping that small aoe just doesn't feel fun for the build to do it's bigger dmg. I like how this build doesn't use blight itself but it's kind of just annoying to watch a small buff bar to do your dmg for that 10 shafowblivjt stack buff
How high can the endgame & pit version with BoneStorm push comfortably in the pit? The standard Minion build on MaxRoll falls off around level 58 in the Pit for me, wanna make sure this can comfortably do Pit 100s before re-gearing and all. Thanks for the build, vid & guide!
I managed to do lvl 82 pit with non shadow minion build from maxroll with the items except the neck for that hellbent skill. And I can pretty much see that it's way too difficult to do it with non shadow from there on. I still had like 6-7 minutes but man you gotta run around like crazy while HP bar is barely dropping and one death costs like 90 seconds. Maybe it can be pushed 5-10 pit lvls more but that's really flexing. Perhaps hellbent skill on necklace and proper temper rolls would further boost but that's just reaching its limit.
He uses that Golem cd aspect instead where golem has a chance on hit to reduce its own cd and then he can army more often. I dont think it should make that much of a difference though golem cd VS ult CD like a gg ring rolling either is solid I copied someones build from the maxroll pit ladder and they dont use that aspect... they use the grasping tendrils for crit chance boost on a ring instead and everything else the same. I guess if you cap on crit from endgame gg gear it would be nice
Am finding it extremely difficult to find the legendaries with the right stats. Especially cool down reduction on my helm and amulet I see that they're very important for this build
You don’t need CDR on amulet if you have that on your Helm. It’s recommended that you run AS, CC and Ranks to Hellbent commander. Your minions with Reap, Aphotic and Decrepify will all play a role to lower your CDR. You need Ultimate CD or Golem CD. Golem CDR preferably.
Confused in the video you are wearing a shako I don't see that that in any of the builds? Also you have 2 weapons on so what build is this what tab on maxroll? And only builds I see with a wand and offhand use void pants in the video you are wearing aphotic? Edit: I see why your using aphotic so when its fixed switch back to void then right? Also thanks for the video but every video I see is people giving builds but always wearing other gear make it kind of confusing especially when your wearing a shako.
It's mostly because Chronikz plays Hardcore and therefore plays the HC variant linked in the description (I think the Shaco is for the 20% Damage Reduction mainly & the Offhand is a Shield for more DR/life). Also there is a variant that uses Shaco it's the "Uber" variant in the planner version !

Hello one question
Is the Boss Killer Build also good in Pit like the Golem Pit Rush build and is Harlequins Crest good to fit in the Builds ?
hey Chronikz. I am playing the Shadow Minion Build with Bonestorm. At what point should i switch to the Pit Build? i am currently doing 70pits in ~3minutes. but id like to get to 100 in about the same time if possible

Hi Chronikz, great build but I have a question: the written build says damage to cursed enemies on amulet/rings, why dmg to cursed? I never see it anywhere and some say its broken so I dont know if I should risk it
That damage to cursed is the Endgame & The Pit variant. The video is talking about 2 new variants.
Using the minion necromancer build. Would you say shadow minion is better? Would love to see a necro built around Harlequin and Grandfather
Your build is amazing! Thank you for the detailed explanation! There is a small question, is it possible to use Blood Moon Breeches in the build?
Sure you can use them buts its far from optimal.

Generally you want dungeons to be at least 10 levels higher than your current level for xp gains/loot.
What variant are you using where there is a shield?
how high do you get with that in pit ?
Golem variant vs End Game Pit - which one is essentially stronger?
Wondering this to
