Quick Correction: The reason you can spec into Counterattack (and its upgrades) and not need it to be on your bar and still benefit from it is because of the Ring of the Midnight Sun!
Really glad you've made the point about prioritising sapping as I thought the same early on - also really helps to level up the hubris glyph to bolster the vigor gen further. The top end guides for the kepeleke build don't really highlight this to players starting out with this at say
Thank you so much!! Your words mean a lot! I played Touch of Death for a while but switched to Quill Volley. Trying out the overpower variant now. And I'm looking to test out rake/thorns very soon!
Ring of starless skies does weird things. It reduces your vigour costs by 50% meaning you do double damage every time you proc Kelepe. If you use the Banished Lords as well, then it uses all 275 vigour per cast, but you should only need 138 vigour to proc kelepe. Kelepe says no to a double cast, so adds the extra cast damage on. Then you get the extra 50% damage boost on top. Starless skies can make you do 10x the damage.
The vigour cost reduction stacks as well if you put it on other gear. If you have 100% reduction, you proc Kelepe 4x per cast, or at least it adds the extra 3x casts damage on per hit. You can’t go over 100% vigour cost reduction though.
@@RoyalNZPoE yes because of the Banished Lords using all 275 vigour and making kelepe proc several times per cast. But because it can’t cast like that it adds the damage on - multiplying the damage as explained above.

Agree 100% on not needing max resist. I rock all 5 below 60% and am using duelist on boots instead of Yen's. So much better and I never worry about getting killed
One question regarding kepeleke: Which affix is more Important: Crit dmg Max resource Chance to cast skill twice Special skill of kepeleke? I got many kepeleke with different ga and don’t know which one i should use
I actually think Max resource, assuming you're playing overpower with Banished lord's (want to reach 250 max resource, so you'll want another roll on your helm at least, or get a Shako). But if not overpower, I think hit twice is good!
It's honestly so good! Though today I was still running into certain walls in certain Nightmare Dungeons. Still not sure if Teleport would have fared better though!
I don't think people have fumly realised how useful the undercity is, for getting boss mats, masterworking mats and runes it's ridiculously good, plus on top of that you can tailor which items drop for you at the end of it, it's ridiculously useful
Thanks for the video. I am tired of seeing a billion dmg builds. This is the highest dmg. Use this blabla. But nobody is talking about how you gonna come that point. What you need to prioritize... I didn't know that sap paragon legendary nod is important. I got it yesterday. I am 110 right now. I am playing t1 my dmg feels good but I am so squishy. I need to increase my survivability. Thank again
Maybe you already have two runewords across your gear? That's the maximum (meaning at most two pieces of your gear can hold runes, the rest can only do gems)!
World bosses are the only place to get united tributes for undercity. Allows entire party to farm legendary aspects as opposed to resolute only for one player.
The max aspect on a Loyalty's Mantle helm is far better than a starless skies imo, I'd almost say getting a 1 or 2 ga near to max or a max roll Loyalty's Mantle is easier than the starless skies.. even if you can craft it. With the max aspect roll on LM along with the ability to keep a legendary aspect and decent masterwork roll of basic damage with an additional cost reduction roll on ring outshines an Ebewaka/Starless. With near max aspect roll on Loyalty's mantle, Midnight Sun, Kelepe, and Banished Lord's, then make sure you either get a double masterwork hit on a damage out of stealth GA'd or not.. on the Shroud of False Death, at least an 8/12 masterwork on all the rest of your gear with your glyphs all at 75+ you'll be hitting in the trillions of damage or higher with little effort. Takes awhile to reach this progression.. maybe a week tops of decent grinding, and I have terrible RNG as well. So maybe you'll be much faster than my progression. Also, ditch the rebound legendary aspect, it's garbage if you want to press t4 uber bosses or pits higher than 65. Keeping rebound you're giving up a lot of potential power, even at a max aspect, you're basically loosing 45% of your overall damage with every attack. It's perfectly ok to use when you're leveling though. Replace it with a damage aspect for a basic or core skill asap.. don't even think about using Rapid either! Any aspect that doesn't boost your basic or core damage is a waste of time. Earthen Bulwark runeword is broken as well, you're not supposed to be 100% invincible. You can run a full glass cannon negative resistance low armor w/o a Shroud of False Death spiritborn and press pits higher than 130+ just using earthen bulwark runeword easily. I've tested this on a pit 143 with negative resistances and only 560 armor and cleared in about 6 minutes without any deaths, the attack speed and multiple hit chance of quill volley can keep Earthen Bulwark up almost 99% of the time. And I'm pretty sure some of the more popular streamers/builders have done a 150 in a few minutes or less.. I was just testing one pit before the streamer hype train steamrolled the community with multiple quadrillion damage numbers and 2 minute sub par 150 pit runs showcasing a plethora of YT videos on "The New Meta".. I'd imagine the Earthen Bulwark thing is a class wide issue as anyone could use this as long as their base attacks or any attack they can use that doesn't cost them anything or they have stupid high regen on their energy to cast are around 70% attack speed to keep Earthen Bulwark up nearly all of the time.
@@lonmeasley752 I've tested Earthen Bulwark on various numbers of armor, even the lowest being 213.. thats also all gear rolls with dex, hp, and atk spd, or chance for vulnerability on hit. Having at least 70% atk speed does in fact keep EB up all of the time in large packs and with a quill build the cd isn't needed for much of anything, but resource cost reduction for a banished lord's build will give you more damage overall per vigor point over not using it when you factor in the aspect for kelepe..
I have both harlequin crest and heir helmets and hands down the heir helmet is way way better. Gives you core skill points and it just helps me melt big clusters of enemy’s before they even have a chance to attack. The harlequin is good but the heir is about 4x stronger.

a good video to make, but your throwing a lot of hints without specifics. e.g. What is a good value for max resource and resource generation? As for rune farming. Capping out armor is a must imho. Resistances i completely ignore.
I've actually eventually gotten to both, but if I had to pick, armor is probably preferred (though Poison damage is pesky as heck!)
