  • Ozempic is a drug intended to treat Type 2 diabetes, but it’s increasingly being used by people without diabetes as a weight loss treatment. Dr. Mark Hyman, host of the podcast “The Doctor’s Farmacy” and senior adviser for the Cleveland Clinic Center for Functional Medicine, warns people against using the drug to shed pounds. The drug has to be taken forever to keep weight off, and it could lead to serious side effects. Instead, Hyman suggests cutting out ultra-processed foods.

Type 2 diabetes is a life style situation. It is completely reversible!
Just change your eating habits and take some herbs and supplements which can help you. I would not take drugs for something totally reversible!!
My husband is reversing it just with changing his eating habits and measuring his blood sugar to figure out what each food does to his body! Very simple!
He also started exercising and intermittent fasting.
He lost about 30 pounds in about 6 months or so

And BTW Chris, speaking of lawsuits, there should be the largest class action suit in history against the American Diabetes Association and all their contracted educators promoting high carb diets. Did you know the ADA recommendations for carbs to a person with diabetes is the same as the FDA recommends to a person w/ out diabetes? The executives at the ADA should be in prison.

    Ozempic dangers
I'm laying here in bed because I took Ozempic (Semaglutide) for 3 months and almost died. This drug caused me constant bloating which made me feel full, but sick when I did force myself to eat. By the 3rd month the damage was done. My liver developed advanced cirrhosis which led to bleeding in my stomach and upper GI tract. I lost so much blood that my hemoglobin went down to 9 and I needed 2 units of blood at the ER. I had then scheduled a upper GI Endoscopy for 3 weeks later. But on the second week just before my appointment my hemoglobin went down to 5.1 and I became delirious and unconscious. My friends hadn't heard from me and broke into my house and quickly called me an ambulance. I was rushed to a nearby ER for 2 pints of blood they squeezed into me to stabilize me and then taken by helicopter to a major hospital where they had to squeeze 2 more pints of blood into me. They found fluids in my chest (dead blood cells) that has to be drained and performed the Upper GI Endoscopy where they had to band the bleeders. I had received 3 more units of blood just to bring me back up to a hemoglobin of 9. I was discharged a week later. My organs are damaged now and I have been seeing doctors 3 or more times a week. I may need a liver transplant now from biliary cirrhosis. I did have a prior fatty liver, but I hadn't had drink in over 8 years. There is a October 2022 published report from Indiana University School of Medicine of someone else my age (male 50's) that required a liver and kidney transplant after using Semaglutide for 6 months. The report found no other explanation for his diagnosis. My hemoglobin counts are slowly improving, but I am unable to leave my bed for more than a few minutes due to all the complications caused my body.

I love to feel hungry, but unfortunately because of low metabolism I rarely reach that point. To me it is absolutely necessary to only have healthy bio organic whole food and I do that, so I maintain my ideal BMI. I agree with Doctor Hyman that fat people will remain that way, until they change their relationship towards food. Its not easy, I have been on a diet all my life, I have less or equal to 700 calories a day and its really science to get all the vitamins protein carbs (limited) and fat that I need to keep that going, its not a diet its how I live. I feel fine. No way am I going to go and take any medicines. They are always poison, and you should all stay away from those. I just dread the years to come where people who have been on this medicine to complain about stomach disorders and side effects PLUS even more weight gain! If the media is telling you not to do something, it's usually a good cause TO do something. Of course, get a doctor's advice, but these are the same people who told you quad-vaxxed people were "safe". I'm just saying.

I’m obese and I need this drug to loose weight. I I’m in my 3rd week. The first week I lost 12lbs. The 2nd I gained 1lb due to my monthly cycle. Now I’m on my 3rd week so we will see. No I’m not diabetic and obesity can lead to diabetes so if this will help in addition to exercising and eating healthy then I’m all for it. 😊

It works, the side effects are horrible. It gave me nasty gall stones, in which I had to remove my gall bladder. Once you stop the medication, you start putting the, weight back on. Your appetite comes back ten fold. The best way, is respect your body, exercise, take care of your mind and body, eat well and sleep. Obesity is choice. All the best success everyone ❤
