Today: PAINT PROBLEMS! Mercedes SLK 230 Kompressor DIY Paint Correction - Mop, Polish and Wax!
This lovely little car runs sweet but, the paintwork is not demonstrating how lovely this car is, it is riddled with swirl marks and scratches so we get to work trying to rejuvenate this little gem.
We use a combination of Menzerna compounds, starting with Heavy Cut and a 400 cutting head to remove the deeper stuff then work through the softer compound to a finishing compound with the polishing head. Finally we compliment the car with Collinite Auto Wax Paste to show off the glossy finish.
By no means an expert job but it is night and day from how it was.
