- #184. NON PERMANENT Inlay Designs TO ANY MOLD! With JUST BABY LOTION!
Here is a Resin Art video of me experimenting with UV resin and Epoxy to create unique inlay designs with baby lotion, I really did not know where this was going to go, it worked amazingly and the lotion is thick enough to put different designs into the molds, I'm thinking it can be used to design some crazy patterns! Who want to see more on this?
Please do NOT experiment with products which may be dangerous if mixed with resin!

Definitely a game changer you can use this technique for putting names on pet tags instead of a dremmel. Thank You for the awesome ideas!
Thanks 😊 Sure can, the possibilities are pretty endless 😊 we can now transform any mold to any design we want with just a swipe of lotion 🥰🥰🥰
Stunning!
Wow that is a great idea!
Pet tags are a great idea along with customize jewelry and well, anything 😁
And another level of clever!
You don’t like the words ‘game changer’ but you’re an absolute innovator and your results will be game-changing for so many craft enthusiasts 👏🥰
Thanks Laura 😊
Lol yes, everything I've seen him do is new/innovative/experimental and cool 😎. 😄 definitely game changers 🙊
Innovative is a good term to use instead of game changer..an innovative technique will lead to all sorts of new discoveries and creations
For someone that doesn’t like “game changer “ you sure do come through with a lot of them! Thanks Daniel
Wow, thanks Mike 😊 🙏
Perfectly said, Mike!
If there is any kind of award for resin artists, please give it to this man!!! Daniel, your creativity knows no limits!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Maybe we need to make an award 🥇 ❤
😮😮😮Mind blown. I am lost for words as how to describe the endless possibilities your experiments and creativity are giving to everyone. You have re-awoken my desire to start creating again. @daniel..cooper I feel that. Mine is creatively busy but too often it's creating anxiety scenarios. 😅

That is so cool! Definitely a game changer!❤😊
Thanks so much 😊
Fantastic!!! My mind has not stopped thinking of the possibilities! Thanks for sharing... V
who knew that baby lotion is so versatile... game changer... LOL... i do like that phrase... and i like the idea of using the little needle like squeezy bottle... i used that or tried to when i did clear resin blanks... a few yrs back...using black acrylic paint for the initial inlay pattern...
This is so cool.
Incredible! Thanks for your experiments.
My pleasure! Thank you 😊
WOW, those are amazing, We could put tiny jewels in the holes or just mica powder. I love them all. Thank you
Thanks Pam 😊 Great idea 😊😊
I recently started to play with resin and was going to order the molds with this type of design and so glad I saw this video! I have a ton of stencils. Thank you for doing the videos you do!! I've watched several this evening.
Wow amazing
One of the coolest things I've ever seen ❤ I love it

What an awesome idea this is. Truly is a "game changer" technique. You're an inspiration Daniel. Thank you! 🙏
😂😂😂 yes, that only seems like yesterday, it's all thank to you lovely lot though 🥰🥰🥰 Thank you 😊
What a brilliant idea I have loads of them sort of stencils cannot wait to try this idea.
Thanks Kim 😊 Have fun creating 😊
Oh wow so many possibilities with this technique love watching your videos wounder what's next
Thanks so much 😊 Yes, so many possibilities 😊😊😊
Omg, that’s so awesome🇨🇦👍
Thank you 😊
Oh my goodness! This is definitely a game changer! Thank you so much for sharing this. Who would have thought that using baby lotion would do something so beautiful?
Brilliant!
Thank you 😊
Very awesome technique. Love that large coaster one. Looks like etched glass. Amazing. Wicked cool tutorial. ❤❤❤ the effects. 🥰
Thanks so much 😊 Yes, the coaster came out amazing 😊
wow! You are right that is a game changer. beautiful thank you for all the experiments that you do.
You could fill in the daffs on the coaster with the coloured uv resin. You are brilliant!
Great idea Anna 😊 Thank you 😊
If you want colored inlay, you could try colored high viscosity resin in the stencil rather than lotion. Wipe, UV cure and then pull the stencil. Fill just enough clear resin to cover it, then repeat with another stencil to make embedded layers.
That is amazing!
Thank you 😊
!!!! 🤩!!!!! GENIUS! ✌
Thanks 😊
Brilliant! You could probably use lotion as “ink” on stamps to make impressions as well. I worry that paper towels are scratching your molds.
That's worth a try too 😊😊 I always use paper towel but it's very soft on the surface 😊
Try chameleon powder on the inlay against a dark back color. Think it would pop! Great video.
Great idea. Thanks 😊
This is incredible! I can’t wait to try it! Thank you
You are so welcome! Have fun 😊
This is brilliant! Gotta try this 🎉
Thanks 😊
Warm the cream in the microwave and you can just pour it in. Be careful though you need to put it in a 20ml cup and only needs 5 seconds. Then put it in the fridge to set again.
I love the projects you come up with. This was fascinating.
Thanks Janice 😊
Amazing!
Thanks Mary 😊
Daniel, you never cease to amaze me with your mind and talents!!! This absolutely is a “game changer”, no more need of expensive inlays!!! WOW…love it and thank you soooo much!!!!
Wow, thank you! 😊
Excellent experiment and phenomenal results👍👌✨
The top 'possibilities" teachers on the internet. By that, i mean someone who hits the mind and inspires the imagination of creative people. I really love and appreciate your work. Thank you for sharing your love of experimenting and finding out 'what will work'. Even failures are successes because they also teach. And some of the failures will be successes in another application.
Wow, thank you! 😊
Wow!!!❤
60k Subs! That’s wonderful Daniel. Congratulations!🎉 You absolutely deserve it!❤ That’s a really innovative idea and it works well. I was thinking using a piping bag to get the lotion or toothpaste into the bottle might work, should be able to cut a good sized hole and get the tip of the bag down into the bottle, then just squeeze it out. I wish I’d have thought of that before going through the battle (multiple times) of getting my conditioner into travel sized bottles!😂 Great experiment, well done!😊
Piping bag would work great 😊😊. Thank you 😊 The past 10k has flown by really fast!
Congratulations Dan on over 60K ... Love the new experiments. Have fun!!
Thanks so much Anita 😊
WOAH, total game changer! I’ve made my own stencils before with my Cricut… all kinds of possibilities have opened up. Thank you for this, you are so clever!!
Thank you 😊
I just found you today and am loving your channel! This is absolutely brilliant and I'm seeing myself making some Christmas ornaments with this technique. Thanks for the awesome idea!
Awesome! Thank you! 😊
I’ve seen some crafting girls use like mud for Sheetrock or like the wall patch stuff that’s in a tub for the stencils. They dry and stand our real well
Awesome 😊😊
Wow! How on earth do you come up with these incredible experiments!? You've got some magical wizardry! Thanks for sharing these amazing discoveries!🎉😻💜😻
Thank you very much! 😊
This is the direction I was going. I want to do stainglass. This will do it! I tried Tulip paint. That was unsatisfactory. I did a hot glue design, but I have put the resin on it yet. I have plenty of stencils from face painting I was trying to fight out how I could use them with resin. This is it! It combines two of my goals!
Keep it up! I love your experiments! I wanna try the UV resin balls in clear shampoo. I want to do it outside. I have plenty of UV rays where I live.
Yay, so glad this one helped 😊😊😊
Wow! I love the coaster! I can't wait to try this
Thanks 😊
Fabulous idea xx
Unbelievable! It really is amazing....thank you for taking your time to do these things...in a million years I wouldn't have thought of this.
Try using 'glue bottles ' like uline sells. You can cut the tips to any size you like, and the opening is larger. It'll be easier to get lotion into it.
Great idea! 😊😊
Thank you for discovering something new every time and teaching us more ways to play and have fun with resin. This one is a 'game changer' 👌
You are so welcome! Thanks for watching 😊😊
You never cease to amaze me, I love your videos and your think outside the box techniques! Bravo! This creative experiment is a major win!👍👍
OMG. Awesome!
Thank you! Cheers! 😊😊
Love it!!! I just subscribed!!! You are the S#*t!!! Keep these creative bomb shells coming and I'll tell all my friends to check you out! 👏👏👏😜
That is so cool! I love the results! It's like etching without all the chemicals.
Congratulations on the 60k! That's awesome!
Thanks so much 😊
Have been binge watching these experiments. Just bought a new UV light and can't wait to try them. Keep the experiments coming! I really appreciate them! 😍
Glad you like them! Thank you 😊
Great video!!!
Love that
Thanks Tina 😊
I absolutely love this, and you just gave me a great idea on how to make some custom doors for one of my cabinets. My husband and I had just been brainstorming about how to make the doors, and I think this method would be awesome for that. THANK YOU so much for sharing this with us !!!!
WOW ..super cool idea❤... hat off🎉
Congratulations Daniel on creating a fantastic new way of using stencils with resin, I love it and can't wait to try it 🎉❤
Thank you so much! 😊
Elmers glue!
Daniel, curious if you could add coloring to the lotion and if it would color the impression? Love this video!!
Possibly, it's worth a small experiment 😊
I have to say, this is AMAZING! Like you said, the possibilities are endless. How you keep thinking up new ideas, I'll never know 😅. I am so glad you do! 😍
Thanks Lisa 😊
I would create a silicone mold of you coaster for future use. Then you can replicate it with mica or interference powder, etc.
AND 60k subs🎉🎉🎉🎉What an achievement❤ CONGRATULATIONS!!!! 🎉🎉 keep doing the wonderful e❤❤aa
Thanks so much 😊 Yes, you can design molds with this technique 😊
Now, THAT is brilliant! Thank you so much for sharing, Daniel!
My pleasure! Thank you 😊
Wow!! Game changer indeed😮😊 my imagination is running wild now thinking of all the crazy things I can do🙃🤩💖👍👏👏👏 say a large tray mold but turning it into a suncatcher😊
Thanks 😊 The possibilities are pretty endless 😊😊😊
I would have either taken the lid off of the lotion or squirted some of the lotion into a diff container then used the nozzle from the precision tipped bottle to suck the lotion into it.
I wonder if glitter or adding color to the lotion would transfer to the end product
Sadly not 😔 Check latest vid, that will work with the newer version.
Love this idea, pity I have to wait until we have moved😢
Thank you 😊
I love your videos they give us all new things to try, thanks mate for being so awesome 😊
My pleasure! Thanks Nicky 😊
Genius! Would you mind if I did this on my channel? I would give you full credit.
Go for it, it's why I share 🥰 Have fun with it, it's endless 😊🥰
