I'm sending this video to my daughter. She had a stroke 5 years ago and began doing epoxy art. She has a bench grinder and this may give her some ideas. She also prepares and sells craft acorns. She makes bracelets with just one hand. She is so amazing, my beautiful and gifted daughter.

@@cathylindeboo.9598oh I believe there is an artist hiding in each of us. You just need to find yours, it could be cooking or teaching, or singing, or reading, art comes in so many forms. Maybe yours is sitting quietly with an old person in a nursing home, just holding their hand.
      You are a beautiful artist....💜😘🥰

It looks awesome, I see that if you are willing to seriously take your time in slowly filling each wasp hole completely without worrying about your material setting, you can do a few holes using one color then mix the next color so on and so on, or allowing it to cure/ harden in stages. I’m saving this video so I can actually try it. Great work 👏👏👏👍👍👍

I like making pendants out of the smaller ones. I use liquid latex on the back which seals the holes. You can paint over the latex. Then I put a small amount of clear resin inside to seal off the inside chambers from each other before filling each cavity with the colors I want them to be. Yours turned out beautiful!

Wow that is not what I expected! I'd love to see it in a monochromatic, ombre color scheme of blues, corals or greens! That could be beautiful too and might be good for beachy decorated home or even stand in for coral or underwater looking items that won't make anyone think of wasps! Very cool

I just wanna say that I REALLY appreciate you sharing that it didn’t go to plan and a “failure turned into a happy little accident” or whatever you said that was really cute and profound. I often get sooo discouraged when my plans fall apart, and just give up. And nobody online shares the mishaps. It’s all about “aesthetic” and “brand deals” and monetization, but your video was informative, inspiring, SO FUN TO WATCH, and so authentic. You can see the joy you have in creating and it is contagious, my friend. Thank you 💕

I started watching your videos a few years ago, and they were great for me because I could watch them and turn my brain off and just enjoy watching you work on the lathe or sanding or mixing five minute epoxy or whatever. I sort of fell out of it a while ago, but when I heard about what happened with your daughter I wanted to reengage with the channel to support you. And let me tell you, man: this channel is still really, REALLY fantastic at shutting my brain off and just letting me stare at stuff. As someone who normal describes their brain as being like a pinball machine (thoughts bouncing off each other and lighting things up and bouncing off the walls ALL THE TIME), finding Brain Off stuff is really rare. Thank you for allowing me to just watch the pretty colors and relax. Seriously, it's such a gift.

Today is my daughter's birthday (she turned 17! Yikes!) and we're kinda sad because this year, I'm fully disabled and incapable of doing anything with the kids. I declined (in health) about three years ago, and then became fully disabled to the point of being bedbound due to the severe pain I'm in. The only entertainment I get is what comes to me in my bed.
That is to say, thank you for your videos because if it wasn't for videos like this, I think I'd have gone mental from zero stimulation. And btw, that Rubiks ball looks so damn interesting! My son (whose birthday was six days ago, and he turned 16!) absolutely loves things like that (he's autistic; puzzles are his thing, lol). It's really fascinating the kinds of incredible and unique things that people's minds come up with! I hope your engagement goes up and continues to go up. You make such beautiful things.

Hey Ben, this looks awesome! But I have a suggestion if you have a chance to do it again I have a suggestion. After you clean out the galleries cast the nest in just enough clear resin to seal the bottom. After it is cured fill up the galleries with colored clear resin, and when it is cured encase it in clear resin. Turn it so the top is a dome and put a light under it. I think it would look amazing. Oh another thing you and your much prettier half might try is hydrodipping some of your frogs in wild mixes of colors

Absolutely amazing! As a fellow artist, I’ve noticed that folks are losing their appreciation for fellow artists talents. I’ve learned the value of someone else’s gift as they “Put themselves out there”. Even though I paint ornaments, I spend time watching someone share their gifts, and process with the world. See, as a person, it’s important to encourage other artists in what they do. Speak out, give compliments that let them know how much you enjoyed seeing their gift. Bottom line here, if you expect blessings, you should be able to bless others It’s easier to be kind and show your support, you never know if that person was thinking about giving up. On life…….. I so enjoyed this video tonight! Looking forward to more of them in the future.! Thank You!!❤

YT needs to change their algo. This is a lovely piece. As an artist, I know how things ebb and flow. Their algos don't. As a musician, you can go up and down many times throughout the course of your career, until you hit. This is why YT isn't good for artists in that sense. Don't stop. Don't be discouraged bc robots are saying you aren't hitting their mark. Just do you.❤❤❤😊

Yah usually when we say ‘resins gonna resin’ it’s not so good. This one the resin was gonna resin in a most spectacular way! Fantastic work.

Absolutely gorgeous! I'm very happy that you fast forward through the repetitive parts, and offer those that wish to see it can do so on the vlog. Other creators sometimes lose me when there are long periods of repetitive action.

Just gorgeous! I came across this channel in my feed. I use resin art for rocks after I paint them and they come out great. I’ve been doing that for over a year now. So when I saw that you used an old wasp nest, I was so excited to watch this then I realized that this type of thing is not teaching me anything because there’s so much machinery that is used and products that I’m not familiar with, that I was disappointed, but I’ll tell you. This is the most beautiful thing I’ve seen in a long time. Thank you so much!
