    If you're not messy you're not a good crafter. I appreciate everything you post and those who don't shouldn't comment, they should just leave the channel. Please keep up the good work, you inspire many to do things out of the norm!

      I keep a spray bottle of 99% alcohol on my resin table at all times. This morning I ended up with a splotch of RED epoxy on my resin smock. 😢 Of course, pouring alcohol over it and rubbing well... replacing my smock at least yearly must mean I am now an artist? 😮😁

    The final result is so cool!! This is definitely something i can use in the future. You're not wasting time by experimenting with new ideas. That's how we learn. Also, nobody forced these grumpy nerds to watch your videos. If they feel they wasted THEIR time watching, that's their problem. The irony of them wasting even more time by commenting is actually pretty funny.

    This is not a technique I will ever use myself. But it's still interesting to watch what others are doing. Who knows, eventually I mught decide it's useful?? As far as background goes... probably a mirror? And as far as anyone telling you it's a waste of your time... it's YOUR time to use however you choose. They don't have to watch it if it's a waste of their time! 👍❤️

    Instead of using Vaseline you can use super sculpey or any kind of clay and then use it over. You don’t have to cure the super sculpey. I’m a sculptor and I do a lot of bas reliefs and I’d Farley cure the clay, I just make a mold with silicone rubber then reuse the clay. Saves money and it’s not messy like Vaseline.

    • @teaandart
      @teaandart  2 місяці тому

      Thank you so much for your kind advice. Yes that can be an alternative I am a sculpter too and use lot's of clay as a medium. Vaseline some time is messy but it's fast and takes textures more easily that's why sometime I use it over clay. 😊

    WOW! This is fantastic. I used to do photography and have a similar photo to this. I think the background could be enhanced by maybe painting the dark parts darker. Maybe with UV dark blue. It looks amazing the way it is but I think maybe you're wanting more depth in the colours. I would give the dark resin a try on the back but only on the places where it looks darker now. Then coat the rest with clear. IDK. Hope this makes sense. ❤

    To be honest I was wondering what you were going to do with it. I first thought it looked like one of those bulls eyes you get it old glass, but when you put it in water I could see the possibilities of it. How about setting it on a glass table with a light underneath? I could imagine sitting around on a nice summer evening. Or even as part of a water feature.
