@daniel..cooper lol 😆 yes you have Daniel ❤️ it was nice to see your face this time. I just love your personality and your God given artistic talent and ingenuity.
I am a copper bangle and bracelet maker and I may never sleep again! I am dreaming of a link bracelet with dipped components, thank you for your big brain and for sharing what is in it!
Dan I just watched " pouring your heart out" and you were given credit for the lotion etching. I noticed some people mentioned you in the comments. Wonderful!
I’ve been using a curing lamp for over a decade doing resin nail art. I have a thin styrofoam that I’ve covered in a sheet of foil. This cures both sides at the same time as it causes the UV rays to bounce around.
@@daniel..cooperI grow stuff and can tell you that mirrors do not diffuse light. If they did, agriculture would use them. If anything, it concentrates the light to a single point. Think of ancient weaponry. Better to use something that is plain white.
If you get green florist tape, you can just wrap them all at once, then it won’t be so bulky. When using the tape you pull slightly on it and it becomes tacky and sticks to itself. Great idea.
When I was a teenager, there was a kit that I had to make flowers like that. You would get the wire and dip it into a solution that made a film like that. Then put the petals together to create a flower 🌺 I don’t remember what it was called because it was like 50 years ago!!
I had that too! I made a ton of flowers. My father gave me the kit. My mother wasn’t that thrilled because she asked me what I was going to do with all the flowers and where I was going to put them. I made hundreds! Fun.
Not…….”this is totally not my thing. I don’t know what I am doing.” Who speaks the untruth sir? You 🫵🏽 because you are creatively amazing. Thanks for sharing.
My mind's off in the direction of miniature stained glass windows. Love what you've achieved here making dipping resin a much more attainable possibility with own supplies!! Thank you!! :)

I so love your childlike curiosity in working with this medium. And I love your little giggles as well! Not to mention how amazing your experiments turn out! You are "breaking the mold" in working with resin! Thank you!
Ive been trying to do this for months and nothing worked, but now, just a lil school glue and BAM! Theres a company that makes "Dipping Resin" but its $35 for about 6 fluid ounces (no thank you) Ive googled it and found nothing. So, You have changed the world for the better without profiting. NOW i Have to be a Patreon, youve saved lots of time and money! Ive been making roses and the only other way is with that weird green tape that doesnt stick to anything especially wire and just makes a big mess. Thank You Sir, Youre my new Hero
Stop it. This is incredible. Nice to see you in person. I saw a dipping video but thought they were too expensive. Now I can dip to my hearts content. When my orders arrive from Amazon my first words are well that’s bigger than I thought or that’s smaller than I expected 😂😂😂😂😂😂 glad it’s not just me.
That glue bottle is going to last for centuries. I know it's not about the flower, but instead of having double strands of wire, you only need a couple of turns at the top, and the rest of the stem can be a single wire. This will result in a stem that's less than half the thickness. If you wrap the wires in the same direction, they will tend to nestle together. That is, the second wire goes in the gaps between the first wire's turns. Keep the winding quite open to leave room for the other wires and you won't get that bunching. You could finish off by dipping the stem in some green resin.
You need a resin Nobel prize for this, seriously. This is amazing! I haven't tried dipping resin yet, because it isn't easy to get here, but school glue I already have. ❤
Hank you Daniel love your experiments and your candor! I love that you’re not afraid to make a mistake and actually admit it when it doesn’t do what you wanted it to do. Who of us is perfect anyway? Amazing! This makes so much sense, as I know you can make a form of self drying dipping resin with clear polymer glue and alcohol. I saw it on sandrartes channel and it works well. I tried it once but am just not patient enough to wait for it to dry 🤣I really like the instant results of UV 😊
My jaw is still on the floor!!😮 Nice to see you and your handsomeness in front of the camera. Like so many of us I thought dipping resin was not only hard to find but so expensive. Bet the manufacturers of it have loved your discovery😮😅!!! Head blowing experiment my mind is buzzing.. headache coming on from it!! 😅Thankyou so much for sharing your experiments and the time to film n edit n upload to your channel. Appreciate the time and effort taken to bring us along in your boundary pushing art/crafting journey. ❤
You amaze me with what you discover! I looked into those dipping resins and they cost a fortune. Now we can do this without spending the money. Thank you for sharing your experiments, Daniel. You are awesome! 😁👏🏻😃
Anyone remember whimsy dip ? My Aunt bought me a kit when I was 10 and you made pedals with this thin wire then dipped it into this substance and it made see through film . Then you arranged the pedals into a flower.
The flower is very pretty!! It is great to put your face with your voice. I love the flower! Now I have to get some wire 😊 The resin King does it again!
Whoa, I’ve always wanted to try dipping resin. Incredible discovery…. using a micro dot of clear Elmer’s changed uv resin into a dipping resin. Daniel you are brilliant. Thank you for sharing your finds 💛🧡❤️🤍🤎
😂 you reminded me of my teenage years! (62 now 😮) when you dipped into with the wire petal.. there used to be a plastic type product that you dipped wire petals, it dried and made super thin flower type petals. Then you wired them together to make flower! 😂 Cool outcome you created!❤
Daniel, you are nothing short of amazing! I don’t know if you realize how you inspire, how you have such a positive influence on the resin community! All I can say is thank you and do all I can do to support your channel. I hope everyone that benefits from your experiments, teaching and inspiration will do the same!
OMG, thank you so much for sharing this. Been obsessed with dipping resin since i saw a video on UA-cam months ago by another UA-camr. Since I'm in Africa now it's hard to get my hands on it. So this is a life changer. As a jewelry maker and crafter this is amazing. I'm thinking we can use the Let's Resin colored UV resin and do the same thing without using the mica powders. And you could try using the soft UV resin from Let's Resin and see if it would work if you bend it. Lovevthe fact that you can store it without worrying that it would cure. 😍🥰💙💜💕💞💜💙🥰😍 Loved seeing your face. It's nice to be able to match the voice to a face.
I was saying to my Fiance yesterday that one of the things I love about you is your no fear approach to testing things.... I love this as I used to make these as a kid in school... as an adult I learnt it was with geletine and I am raw vegan so couldn't do that.... These are beautiful. Thankyou for making these childhood memories real again!! You inspire me!
I recently bought my first UV resin kit to have a good ol' play, as yet I've not made a thing all because of you, can't decide what to try first 😄Thank you UA-cams Resin Magician 👍
Awesome. Your experiments are money saving. You can imagine what dipping resin goes for. You are the bees knees. Just make your petals, and leaves at the top of the wire, the you only have the single wire to wrap, instead of how you were doing it. I watch a few channels that do this type of resin art. Very pretty.
In 1971-1972 , I use to play with a resin that did the same thing. No lamp is needed. I ALSO MADE FLOWERS , much larger than what you have. The color was dark purple. Enjoy. !
Amazing. I ordered some "dip" resin and when it came there was hardly any in the jar and it was way too thick to use effectively. I gave up. This is a game changer, for sure.
What an amazing thing!! First time commenting… Just a thought on assembling. If you twist off both wires of each petal then cut one off so you only have one wire to work with, it would be easier to streamline the stem. My mind is going mad with the possibilities.
