My heart broke for the dad. When they showed that pic of him sitting on the bumper of the hearse that had his daughter’s casket in it, I lost it. I watched a video where he got to read his victim impact statement. It literally brought me to tears and made me proud of him all at the same time. His impact statement was so powerful. You could see clearly just how much he loves his baby girl. I purposely used “loves” in the present tense because even though this little angel is not with her daddy physically, the love you have for your children, no matter where they are, never dies. I’m pretty sure Mr. Garrett would agree with me.

The adults that failed her were mother & her mother's boy friend & those at CPS that didn't take the multiple reports being made to them as seriously as they should have, from the daycare that her POS mother withdrew her from, once she knew they had been making reports to CPS, with the last straw for Sierra being the decision made by the daycare to allow one of their staff to take Aniya to the ER after Sierra had dropped her off with visible injuries that included blood in her ear. Aniya's father & relatives of Sierra had also called CPS multiple times. Aniya's father had an emergency custody hearing scheduled just a few days after Aniya's death. The daycare Sierra worked at, that she put Aniya in after withdrawing her from the 1st one, does deserve blame, as they kept filing suspicious injuries they were seeing on Aniya, but never did anything with these filings, like reporting to CPS as they should have, as mandatory reporters. The truth is, there were MANY adults that did literally everything they could to get Aniya away from mother, within the confines of the law.

Some of the daycare workers actually filed multiple reports to CPS for Aniya. One personally took her to the emergency room and reported her injuries. Aniya still went home with her mother that day. That worker testified and broke down on the stand at the trial. The CPS workers were the ones to drop the ball. Aniya’s aunt (moms sister) even called cps.
They did report it to CPS.. What i have learned from CPs is that they never take things seriously until it to late.. Most kids die while cps knowing all this.. They only care about themselves

This new friend who said the baby came to her house with a black eye didn’t call 911 to report signs of abuse and neglect? The father when he saw her and questioned the bruises on her didn’t also call police or department of children and families. All these grandmother speaking at the end of the video all didn’t see this child state for months, even the sister when she visited didn’t see the child deteriorate.. everyone failed this child it’s sickening 😢

According to the current rules of the almighty YT algorithm, words likw "wound" "bruise" and "bloody" is no longer acceptable even though that is not extreme or abusive language. These gaps in narration are annoying to the listening public/channel followers. This is getting to absurd levels and I have been advocating for a "PG" rating system for UA-cam videos and rate them according to the same or similar rules and guidelines as the MPAA do. This way adults who declare themselves as adults (and thus YT won't be held liable) could listen to an entire video episode without muting out every third word which is awfully distracting. So much for algorithms.
This case pissed me off to the absolute limits of my existence. 3 million is not even close to enough of what that father deserves for the lifetime of grief he will experience. Red flags- - Mother kept moving child to different daycares; mother employed by daycare, with multiple reports of abusing a child, but continues to retain employment with daycare; child’s father and other family members not being allowed to see the child for weeks, or months prior to child expiring, child remained in the mother’s home despite multiple reports of abuse… It’s infuriating that this occurred, and a poor innocent baby perished because of incompetence and indifference. 😢💔

There are plenty of narrators I listen to that don't get censored and this is the first video from M7 that I have seen that is heavily censored. If you can't handle the proper words and descriptions then you shouldn't be watching/listening to topics like this.
I couldn't agree more. I watch a lot of True Crime, Interrogations, etc, but over time SO much is censored and bleeped out to the point that an interesting interrogation turns into a bleepfest. Cyanide and Happiness channel is a prime example of not caring, letting loose, and the end of some of their video compilations where the UA-cam icon gets kicked in the nutz by Patreon w/ "UA-cam is a baby channel" or a channel for babies, either one. Depending on Patreon support is rough especially if you're well established. That is an extreme example based on their content, but UA-cam isn't what it once was that's fo sho'.

I think I've seen this detective before and I think she is excellent at getting to the truth. She is a great interviewer and stays calm. Red flags- - Mother kept moving child to different daycares; mother employed by daycare, with multiple reports of abusing a child, but continues to retain employment with daycare; child’s father and other family members not being allowed to see the child for weeks, or months prior to child expiring, child remained in the mother’s home despite multiple reports of abuse… It’s infuriating that this occurred, and a poor innocent baby perished because of incompetence and indifference. 😢💔

There are plenty of narrators I listen to that don't get censored and this is the first video from M7 that I have seen that is heavily censored. If you can't handle the proper words and descriptions then you shouldn't be watching/listening to topics like this.

I couldn't agree more. I watch a lot of True Crime, Interrogations, etc, but over time SO much is censored and bleeped out to the point that an interesting interrogation turns into a bleepfest. Cyanide and Happiness channel is a prime example of not caring, letting loose, and the end of some of their video compilations where the UA-cam icon gets kicked in the nutz by Patreon w/ "UA-cam is a baby channel" or a channel for babies, either one. Depending on Patreon support is rough especially if you're well established. That is an extreme example based on their content, but UA-cam isn't what it once was that's fo sho'.

Neither one of these people had any live or sympathy for this baby otherwise they would have stopped the other from harming the child. Her mother worked at a daycare. She had to know better , there is just no excuses. She could have at any time given that baby to her father. She wouldn’t do that because I can guarantee she was getting money for having custody of the child. Probably child support as well as food stamps. She only had this child for the benefits she received from having her. So sad that she could have had a beautiful life if only she had been given to the father .

I think I've seen this detective before and I think she is excellent at getting to the truth. She is a great interviewer and stays calm. I can't imagine how hard it would be to sit with the ones who caused a baby or child's death. That little girl must have gone through such fear and pain. People can be so damn evil.
