Tragic case and still a mystery today in many ways. Very well reported and brilliantly illustrated, thanks for a great tale very well told, and RIP to all the victims.
This was a terrific video. I really love the historical incidents. The mindset was different, the forensics were different, the detection was different, etc. It makes for a really dynamic experience ❤
People tend to forget this country was wild and crazy way before the 20th and 21st centuries arrived. This story reminded me of the book, “Wisconsin Death Trip”. Quite disturbing. I think there’s a vid on YT which summarizes it.
It drives me crazy how people never took any notice of how killers like Belle were treated and twisted in their childhood and teen years and how it is that they are MADE into monsters. She was teased and bullied relentlessly, raped, violated and then beaten until she loses her first child. And then she can't find work or marriage in which she won't be taken advantage of by men and no one CARES! Women had to put up with so much disdain and beatings and violations and then when they turn into monsters, people just turn on them harder, instead of ever thinking, "Hey, maybe there's a problem with our society and how we treat and ignore children. Because this happens to little boys too. And men are let off with "Boys will be boys." They don't ever have to take responsibility for their bad actions once they are men and are let alone and believed if they rape a woman and deny it, or it they are accused of raping children or beating wives. The women and boys are not believed about what happens to them and are shamed for coming forward. It still happens. And it hasn't changed much. How was this "ugly" woman to care for herself? How to get work for which she wouldn't be abused? She grew up poor and abused. She was twisted. So many killers are created! Some abused people do not end up monsters, and that's awesome, but so many do, they may have had no solace or anyone to turn to, or not as thick skin.
I was listening to Nancy Grace and this is exactly what a defense attorney was trying to tell her about the abusers of a 2 yr old child. Nancy didn't want to hear it. The attorney wasn't making excuses for them but reminding her that they to prob had went thru abuse and didn't have the mental health or resources to understand what they were doing was wrong. Alot of these people be have a childs mindset in adult bodies due to trauma at a young age.
I’m so glad I was born premature, it saved me from a life in Indiana. WTF is wrong with the people in Indiana? ( James Dean and Michael Jackson excluded )
Excellent video...thankyou.Packed full of interesting facts.Well done.👏👏👏

She was a force to be reckoned with….
Why do we excuse rape for this long, judges are men, mostly, do judge diligence
Interesting 🤔

The first photo was of Belle Guinness. The second was not, but stated it was an actual photo. Thought you should know 😊
How do you know? I thought they look different but thought it was due to age changing her appearance

Great informative video love it thank you 🙏🏼
I think that if she'd survived, someone would have recognized her due to her notoriety. Her poor victims 😢
Bloody hell, what a story
I do think though that a well-made movie about her would be interesting

She was a White widow, not a Black one. Can't you see her skin colour🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️
Being called a black widow has nothing to do with skin color. Just a comparison to the black widow spider
