This 1st story is almost exactly what I went through. He was active military and worked with the local pd. Plus, his dad was a prosecutor and brother a cop. I remember 1 time I called the cops and they said if I press charges one my ex, they will press charges on me from allowing my infant daughter to be in the abusive situation and they would give her to CPS. They told me to go in the house and work it out. No one helped me until I was left in a ditch on the side of the road, and he left state with my daughter. All charges, but simple DV were dropped and he spent 70 days in jail, but with the plea agreement I got full custody and his rights taken.
We are okay now. I live over 1000 miles away, It's been almost 10 years, my daughter is She's a beautiful happy girl who is turning 10 this weekend, and I'm happily married.

Katrina's story is one of redemption on a Biblical scale. Showcasing the power of words to impart life or death. Her grandmother telling her to stay. Her Dr saying she'd never walk again. But where many failed, there was always one who didn't. Her physical therapist telling her she would recover fully. The 20 year old who brought her to the hospital. Her lawyer, blind with a righteous anger, fighting on her behalf when no one else would. One of the worst things that could have happened, getting kicked out of her attacker's mother's home, turned out to be the best thing for her. In this lowest place, she began to find her own identity, independance, inner strength and will to fight - essential to the powerful person she is today. Nothing else could have forged the internal fortitude she gained through her hardship and no one can ever take it from her. This is truly inspiring. ❤

20:10 takes one person with hope to give someone else faith. I'm in ICU RN. But I am now currently on the other side. I went from cane to a walker now I am wheelchair-bound after working through covid. I had an ill bipolar husband who died 3 hours before my father passed away in separate hospitals. Unexpectedly. Obviously your situation was far worse and if you could make it, then maybe I can make it too. Thank you for your story. You're so brave.if you've inspired me ,even just a lil, you have done wonders for me. I thank you❤

I don't think his face was hidden because he was a police officer. This happens a lot now. A man in my town killed his girlfriend's mother and then beat her into a coma. After a massive search he was arrested. Did the news show him? Nope.....It's skin color unfortunately. Killers regardless of what they look like should have no media protection.
