HA !!! " Professional" tire guys don't know sh*t until they've put a tire on with sledgehammers & pry bars. Traditional !! I'll never tire of commenting on all your cool adventures. I'm glad you share 'em .. & don't sweat the comments. Thank you.
Yea I’m not too bothered about putting myself out there. Anyone that acts like they know it all or don’t struggle with shit are just lying to themselves! I’m having fun and that’s all that matters to me!
Matt, as a 62 year old man, I say thank you for taking me back in the day. I’m glad there are younger guys like you that love the rings we did back in the 70’s and earlier.
When I bought my Euro tire machine, it was a complete re-learning experience after using an old Bear machine for so many years. No way would I have filmed myself doing it! Made me laugh my ass off...cause I fought with mine just like you did! Great vid!
Love the chrome reverse especially with baby moons, my favorite back in the 60's were black steel wheels with SS trim rings and chrome lugs and center caps.
Need to tell u how much I love your channel. Going through an illness right now where I can't work on a project or really afford one either. Watching your videos make me feel like I'm part of the old car and hot rod family until I can jump in myself again. Thanks so much, just wanted to share that. Have loved old cars since I was a kid, that's a sickness I hope to never recover from.
You are so lucky that car looks amazing. The old timers got the look just right and the weather got the patina just right .im so envious of you right now
Matt & Co. another great video, I like chrome reverse wheels, I remember back in the day cleaning up mine with a SOS pad, when you were mounting your slicks did you forget the baby powder on the tubes? Today it is a must, I know where there used to be one of those J2 Olds motors...thinking about giving the guy a call... Build on Dudes
"Chrome reverse" caught my eye. We were eating lunch where I work and it came up. The younger guys asked what that was. Some of us realized we were driving before mags came out. Seems like ages ago. Not a car guy anymore, but it is fun to look back once and a while.

I like that you are headed the way the last owner was going , I’d take it back to when he bought it ..what it looked like in the photo . Keep the Rusty mags ...lucky guy you are ..👍👍
I totally agree with those who are saying don't chop the top. But please do put a visor above the windshield. I have always thought that visors look badazz on an early Ford. Thanks for making these videos and sharing them with us !!!
Thanks we aren't going to chop this one. I disagree though on the visor comment on a 32 Ford. Works on a Model A or Model T.. but 32 and later I think is good with no visor personally. Thanks for watching!
Carl Sabatka i knew a guy back in the 80s that had a 32 5 window with a 40 dash and column with the shifter flipped to the left and adapted to a 4 speed . When I asked him why he said it was so you could shift without taking your arm from around your girl
My first car (in 1962) was a '51 chevy coupe. The first thing I did to it was remove the column shift and put in a floor shift. Why? Because when I shifted into third it was perfect to rest my hand on my girls knee!
Thought that was funny when you remembered the wheel has to be backwards, I've been on that adventure several times. XD Awesome car and wheel setup! Thanks for brightening my day guys.
Achieving just the right level of crappiness is where it's at, Matt. Personally (as you axed) I'd go a touch higher in the back and lose the hubcaps. Love this 32. mart.
Love the look of the old chrome an cheater slicks. To me half the fun of building a hot rod is standing around and looking at it. Especially when you change something like the wheels or the stance.
Wheels and tires fit the car perfect. If it were my car (I know, you hear that all the time) I believe I would take the spirit of the original build and refine it. You know, use the square roll bar but make sure the welds and design are clean. Same with the rear suspension. Run the same arms but redo the mounting and such. I'm not a big fan of the "Rusty/Patina" look and would probably paint it but more in the backyard garage style. Single stage paint, smooth but not perfect body work. A clean car but not pristine. But then it is your car and not mine. As long as you enjoy the end product is what really matters. I am looking forward to the build.
Shitina is good but rather than leave it all as it is would be cool if you restore the front since those front wheels are so nice looking and make it fade to the rear to perfect shitina
Another awesome video! Although you should have bottled the vintage air, it was a good year and very difficult to find, lol I read a Hot Rod article back in the 80's that's the best thing you can do is put new tires and rims on a vehicle to make it look better and worth more. Very nice choice, have a good day
I know you guys were joking but rust is NOT patina. Rust is rust. Clean those wheels. It will still be period worn to match the car. Thanks for the videos. I'm stuck at home like the rest of the world and your videos help break the monotony. I'm pipe dreaming too.
Wow. Did you say it's currently a column shift ??? Highly unusual mod' back then. By all means film those specifics whenever you ditch it, or muck around under or in it again, please. Too cool. Thanks guys. Take care !

Great job Matt, alot of hard work, but it's hard to find a 32 ford that looks bad. Thanks for the video
I had a post deleted on the HAMB earlier this week for accepting the existence of EFI.
Nice.. love those old Hurst cheaters.. could you tell me the tread width of those tires? 7or 8 inches wide I'm thinking? Thx
yeah man it looks good

Nothing changes the look of a car more than wheels and tires.
Those slicks and rims looks really sick! You’re so lucky to find a 32, even with all the crustyness! Lol
Wheels and tires can make such a difference

Mainly just gathering parts. Not going to dig into it much until I’m done some other projects.

CLR and scotch bright on your 32 coupe. Check it out on hamb! It'll remove the rust stains from your paint. Work wonders on your chrome too!

Yeah, I guess a fine steel wool would be less aggressive than a scotch bright pad. The results I've seen are impressive.
